Yes sir! Glad to report that it's hasn't failed yet! It's been wet a few times on the corners and sides before. But the channels on the bed floor take care of any possible soaking issues. Although I have to admit that I've covered the sides and bottom fully with indoor/outdoor carpet. That helps a lot too. Thanks for the question and comment 👍.
super cool! did you drill into your truck bed and secure the bottom eucaboard to it or does it just sit freely in there with enough friction to hold it in place?
Planning a very similar project. I was thinking I’d need to piece of the hardwood attached to the tailgate to stop the spray liner from scratching and causing resistance while pulling out and pushing in over the tailgate. Do you find this a issue?
I thought I needed to do this as well. But, I found that I didn't. Even with a full load on the slider, I find little resistance as I push the slider in. BUT, I do have to update you that i wrapped the whole slider with indoor/outdoor carpet to decrease resistance on the opposing surface.
I didn't use a "standard" particle board. I used hardboard. It's high-tempered wood particles compressed into a board with one smooth and one rough side. I got it from Lowes. Pretty sure Home Depot has it as well.
Nice! Going to outfit my Avalanche. This will make my carry stuff accessible and no longer a pain to get to things load and unload..
Glad to help sir!
My expectations on this is that it will fail after weight, moisture, gravity hit it.
Do you have an update? Do you put alot of weight in it?

What size wood did you use to frame around the Euca board?
@@p3arljam26 2x4 bro.
Basically

No drilling required. The rough side of the board creates plenty of friction to hold it in place.
Great job and saved a ton of money
Yes sir! Absolutely!
does the slide move around in the bed at all? say while going around a corner or coming to a stop?
No sir. It's almost fitted snug to the wheel wells, as well as the back wall and tail gate.
Good Job
Thank you! I appreciate that!

Don't get it wet.... it acts like bread when wet
The sides have been wet a lot. Non-issue at this time since it's only the corners. Thanks for the tip.
Could you post a link to the particle board used …thanks a bunch

Where did you get the slide strips?
They're actually the fuzzy side of a velcro strip. I actually later wrapped the sides and bottom with indoor/outdoor carpet. It was much better.
