Thank you Hugo for the raw footage. Downloading and playing with grading your footage is what made me see the true quality of the R5C and finally buy the camera. I just ordered it. What an amazing image!!! Thank you!!!!
Canon ought to be paying you a commission. I played around with grading your footage yesterday and loved it; today I bought an R5C. Thanks for making it available.
How the hell do you get videos of the damn thing. Every card I use works in camera, but when I view it on anything else video files don't even display, like they are hidden or missing! I feel sick, I can't edit any of my videos!
thank you for the raw footage
Awesome!🔥
I want a R5C...🥺
thanks
thank you so much for uploading the videos!
but maybe you forgot to add the LUT correctly?!
in premiere pro i do right click on the clip and settings and interpret footage and then assign the Gammut LOG 3 then with the Color correction effect i apply the Lut ...WideDR.. the colocs pop way more then
This is so so gorgeous! Really, for a fraction of an ARRI camera, the dynamic range and colors are amazing! I was thinking about Sony, but after I saw Canon and Nikon's internal raw, it just feels they are way ahead. I think Sony has very good compressed codec if you want to save space that looks pretty nice out of the box, but it's not at all so detailed.
I was in NY with mine last weekend. So awesome.
I noticed that the lens "Canon 35mm f1.4" is unsabilized. You didi a very great job in hand holding it that steady. Have you used digital IS or post stabilization in this video? Have you used R5c with stabilized RF lens in other projects? How is the performance? Do you notice jitter/vibration as in this video? How does the degree of vibration compared with R5? Thanks.
Have you noticed your focus peaking is not working properly? I seem to get this odd coloration of the whole image in whatever colour I choose for peaking so you have no idea what is in focus. It is really bad in lower light conditions and not usable. Like the peaking is picking up on the noise or something in the image. Have you noticed anything like that or is my camera got an issue? Wondering if other people are having this issue
Thanks for the access! Footage looks amazing! What res did you shoot these in? No problems in BMDR.
You legend thank you brother!
Thank you for the footage, with perfect exposure on every shot. Great content subscribed thanks
Wow, amazing footage. Thanks very much! It gives me hope with this camera I have owned for 2 weeks still struggling to learn. I am having trouble trying to figure out how you have CLOG3 and Wide DR both as LUT added. I try to use view assist but when I select wide DR instead of CLOG3 view assist gets greyed out?
but maybe you forgot to add the LUT correctly?!
in premiere pro i do right click on the clip and settings and interpret footage and then assign the Gammut LOG 3 then with the lumetri color i apply the Lut ...BT2020_canonLog3-toBT709_WideDR.. the colocs are way better then
Thanks for the samples!
If Canon could possibly make something for video department, I'm personally hoping something that seats between C70 and R5C with better AF, longer shoots(battery), DR, Audio, FF sensor, 6K RAW, rig friendly for however shooter wants. I guess little more than C70? Shooting 8K raw chew up HDD pretty quickly.
For my hybrid cam, R1 may replace R5 in 2023?
Thanks for the samples!
I see they haven't gotten rid of the Jitter!
man the fire work shot, sheeeesh
Were the Raw shots filmed in RAW ST or RAW LT? Thanks
LT
Thanks bro for sharing the beautiful images♥
Glad you like them!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
