  • This is a golden glove opportunity to hear a teenage, pre-champion Mike Tyson talk openly about his troubled childhood, including getting arrested and put away. Take special note of the clips shown in David's introduction of Mike.

I LOVE Mike when he was young, all those hits to head did a lot of damage. it's sad.

He has so much patience for these interviewers consistently treating and talking to him like he’s an aggressive scary man when he’s just a humble big hearted human being it’s erks me just watching some of these interviews

@WideAwakeism I hope he instantly got the message and said "that's what I thought" with a faint smile on his face.

Just opponents. I don’t know how many mikes fights you’ve seen. I love boxing but it is absolutely rigged.
A dozen guys didn’t even get hit and just took a 10 count.
Another dozen just quit. And didn’t try.
      James tillis beat mike.
Any guy who fought back beat mike
You can’t say a fighters prime ended a year after he could purchase alcohol and insurance.
Tyson is one of the greatest due to he was exciting. One of my favorites
But he was 5th beat of his era. Lennox Holyfield bowe foreman tyson.
Tyson wasn’t fighting the best guys ever until Holyfield was retired and considered shot after 3 wars with bowe. Knocked out. Lost to Moorer and looked like shit against bobby cyz.
Then mike was all over the Holyfield finally. Tyson was a 15to 1 favorite.
Holyfield was considered shot and retired from a congenital heart issues. Was cleared by a dr to fight mike.
Mike didn’t fight McCall Morrison Mercer Witherspoon. Let alone Holyfield or bowe. Moorer foreman. All those guys chasing and he’s fighting Frank Bruno twice. No time for them thoigh. Nor any top fighters after Holyfield or the time he fought Lennox. Mandatory since 91-92.
Imagine being judged the greatest ever from 18-22 just absurd.
Awesome figgter didn’t prove it against the best of his contemporaries.
Watch the James tillis fight. The announcers are biased as hell. As tyson was the guy groomed to be youngest hw champ in boxing history.
Now this was in New York so the fight is scored by rounds basically you win a round that’s a point.
You don’t get extra points for knockdowns.
Tillis won 7 -3 6-4 tops under these rules which weren’t an odd set of scoring at the time.
If you count knockdowns and 10-8s mike would have won but not how the rules and criteria of the fight in a lot of states at the time.
Mike landed 13 punches in a span of 5 rounds. And was boxed up and down for the majority of the fight and mike gets a wide decision
The only time I’ve seen a corner get in the ring and that an automatic dq by any level of boxing was tyson v. Botha. When Tyson’s trying to rip his shoulder out and won’t let go after the second round and I don’t remever if it was shield or Tommy brooks came into the ring to stop mike from trying to break his arm. (Tyson did this against Holyfield in the second round as well nobody catches it). Maywesther v Judah. Roger even punched at zab. And delahoyas brother went on and into the ring during when Oscar was putting a stamp on Vargas. Cameras don’t show it but I was at the fight.
Even Floyd knows he’s fucked. And they all got the benefit as they were the biggest cash cows in boxing history of all time.
Any other fight in the history of time an automatic dq.

He's got always got his hostile hat on by the look of it. Funny thing is, these days he's as subdued as a 5 year old on ketamine.
