Medic on a radar flash with maxed triage, shield regen device, and logistics specialist... top cert gain, AND if you put a kobalt on it, you can lock down a doorway.

I was just trying the cortium farming last night and my peak score per hour was 50k and I was hunting on the off continent with a maxed ant. I'm a builder, I know how this shit works and no way are you getting 1k in 50m. Additionally, if you are going to try to farm cotrium, pull another silo from your silo and deconstruct it (field tool>welding device>right click on construct) to allow more cortium to spawn. Cotrium does not spawn within 100m of a silo. They cannot be TK'd and take forever to decay. Farm responsibly.
True. It's pain when you find good place for base And you can't build, becouse some numnut build, filled And abandon silo close by.
1k cert is like 250,000 exp... Maybe if you are prem member on a double exp with some boost.
I think the key point was "on a new character" since they gain a lot of free certs and the fairly high and stable income from harvesting cortium lets you go through the early BR to cash in those bonus certs.
Also heavily dependant on what continent you are on and even what area on the continent, I would not farm cortium on Hossin or Amerish for example. Just too long distance between nodes and garbage terrain while the SW warpgate on Indar is amazing with several large node spots in a comparably small area.
Anyone doing it please dont leave the Silo, you block the spawn for others and yourself + F-over anyone wanting to build a base there.
Another "common sense" thing I pretty much never see people doing is mining the smallest nodes first, its like foresting, you take the small nodes first to open up the spot for a new one. When all the small nodes are gone you can start working on that 35k node and chances are if you keep taking the small ones when they respawn you will have a new 35k node spawn before the first is gone.

I was specifically reffering to new accounts and alt accounts.
My personal favorite method is the ole medic on scout flash. Though 90% of the time I get a bit too much of a TR pillager boner and get killed out of position charging in and scorching the rebel dogs.
Upgrade the scout radar on the Flash or Valkyrie. It will show enemies on the minimap up to 100m/200m respectively, that covers most of the battlefield!

I disagree about playing medic. I don't think you get as much as you think. I'd play engineer for ammo and repair, spawn etc for more certs.
I would definitely recommend the membership for anyone playing PS2 'on the regular', cash for devs and the bonuses are much better than they might seem at first glance.
To keep things kinda short, mission rewards are modified by +% xp and double xp events and members get double xp on the last weekend every month and you can SAVE mission rewards for however long you want. So you do and save a bunch of daily missions for the end of the month = thousands and thousands and thousands of certs when you cash them in on the double xp weekend because you have +50% xp from membership, +50% from alerts, +% from being outnumbered and like +10% attacking and/or defending a base which is already putting your xp/cert gain above 100% extra, then add in the double weekend.
Now certs alone might not seem worth the membership to some but certs also translates into tons and tons of implant packs which obviously gives you implants(even exceptionals) and all the duplicates can be turned into ISO-4 which otherwise is really hard to farm.
I've been farming certs with dailies and being in all good fights with a good cloaked sundy here and there. I've probably baught the 750cert pack 10 times now already and not one, NOT ONE exceptional 😭
@@wernervandermerwe8422 Yeah they are fairly rare with the 750 cert packs but the point is that even if you dont get them that way, the extra ISO-7 you gain from recycling the duplicates and store up after upgrading the implants you use the most you can start spending it on the 500 ISO-7 packs every now and then, they have a "much" higher chance of getting the rarer and exceptional ones.
Implants and especially the exceptional ones are more of a long term goal but membership with all the bonuses and extra missions really speeds it up.
@@TheHuffur so you say its better to try and farm the 500iso packs for exceptionals? sheesh, 1500 certs for 2 500 iso packs is so expensive
@@wernervandermerwe8422 Yeah they have a higher % for the more rare implants as well as exceptionals but since its just a single implant per pack its still not that great though if I take all the exceptionals that I have on my characters its probably only like 4-5 that I have gotten through the 750 cert packs with probably 20ish in total from the 500 ISO ones.
Just for you I looked on the wiki, apparently its thought that the ISO pack has a ~10.6% chance of both the rare and exceptional implants dropping compared to 750 cert pack having only ~0.6% chance for exceptional.
I would really recommend you do the daily missions and save the reward for a alert + double xp day now during summer, should be quite a few 750 cert packs you can turn into ISO for those packs instead!
@@TheHuffur damn man. Wish I knew that earlier. I've been doing the dailies for like a month now almost every day and didn't know the best way to farm it. The one time I don't look into mechanics it bites me in the ass 😂

i go on bounty hunting as a sniper, i track other snipers with a high bounty on their heads. Im not sure if they changed the bounty recently or if i only been unlucky with the bounty kills. But anyways, bounty hunting other snipers used to provide me between 3000 and 40,000 xp points = goldmine of certs. This usually meant that i had to travel around the battle field on each and evry corner of the base to find infeltrators witch were stacking up bountys. However if your not used to track players, this requiers alot of knowladge and skill to pull it of as much as i did it, evry 6 or 7 out of 10 bountys were a succses, but it took me around 9 months to learn it. To learn tracking with out being hunted my self or killed on my way to the bounty. Cuz trust me on this one, if your gonna get a x5 bounty on a player sitting among his allys with 100 players in between you and him, you may die like 30 times just kill that one guy

I'm all for easier certs but pulling a bastion for any other reason than stomping a War Pigs Zerg is just not cool

Engineer with Robotics tech and jockey implants are really easy kills at chokepoints.
Does cert gain and XP gain use the same double XP and other boosts? And does your guide here work for XP too? I am good with certs, but trying to grind out to ASP, and ughhh... those last 10 levels are so steep.
Cert gain is all from xp, alerts, or missions you get one cert for every 250 xp so stacking as many boosters as possible is really good
how do you play on a off continent when they are all locked?

The best way to farm certs is to play light assault and C4 the shit out of everything.
I think its more rewarding if you just UwU all the time and keep your UPM up is given way more out, change my mind

I disagree with some of this.
If you you are fighting at a base. And it is a heavy fight. I suggest that you always pull a it.
Failing that, pull any vehicle that will help in the fight.
Also, Even though I have been playing this game consistently. For most of the time it has been out. I still pale in comparison to others. Who have vehicle and vehicle weapon achievements. Why, there was a lot of missed opportunity to use them.
For example, so you need to take a 3-stack building. Especially one that has a point on it. A lot of easy kills to get with a main battle tank or a lighting.
Need to gain proficiency with ATV weapons. Dude, half the time you can get them in the building.
If you have a repair or ammo sundy. Even if it is at basic level. Pull it. All those vehicles shooting. Equals easy money.
Leaving revenue sources unutilized. Is a bad economic move. Online or IRL.

@@noble_lemon certs are easy af to get nowdays with the quest system, literally just play the quests and alongside level ups you should have all your important gear updgraded. Most of the time you dont even need to spend certs to be competitive nowdays, it aint perfect yet, I think some things like upgrading reload speed on single fire vehicle weapons should just go away but overall as long as youre not trying to get into construction nowdays you can everything you need in a few hours of gameplay.
@@ImranKhan-ty9ij still. some cool features like outfit assets is available only for exceptional boys, construction you mentioned it, if you want to punish some cheesy bastards you will need a special loadout for vehicles or/and infantry which is cost 3000-4000 certs (from scratch).
