Remember New Non-member Planetmen, spend your hard-earned Certs on Class Abilities FIRST! don't spend your Certs for guns or vehicles until you think you understand the game as a whole. (1000 certs/gun don't come so easy...) You will learn that your default gun is very excellent ;) Also, don't buy anything in Construction until you get super involved in Outfit Op nights (They will let you know what you need)
Agreed although my Watchmen and Chaingun purchases in the beginning alongside some minor cheap class upgrades (on my newer second accountant) are what made me stay. Brrrt is just so much fun and honestly it pays so god damn well. But medic with revive wins out.
Nice video. I liked what you said about having many playstyles so if the one you like gets nerfed, it isn't a big problem. I was just getting into the Daimyo when it got nerfed, but there were still so many playstyles I liked. Lots of good advice here.
I was auraxiuming the Networked variant of the Daimyo for the Brilliant Camo when they nerfed it... had to relearn the entire gun bc of the refire rate. I adapted, but yeah, it's nice to fall back on other/more fun things

i've found out that a maxed out ammo box on engie can give an obscene amount of certs in big fights : you have two, you can redeploy them every 5 seconds, you don't have to put yourself at risk, and you can still kill/repair while the ammo pack is feeding you XP. yes it does cost certs to reach it's full potencial, but the payout is well worth it in my eyes.

nice video but i'd recommend showing off the things you list such as flash with triage and scout radar. Remember that new players might not understand what they mean even if you're explaining it
Can I just add if you want to chill for a bit but don't want the fast pace action you could play ANT simulator 2021. Basically go out with a ANT and mine some cortium and drop it off at a friendly silo you will make a least 1 to 2 certs a minute that way. You can make more if you do missions for it as well. It's not the fastest but it's thee most reliable. You could also just sit under a bio lap with a scout radar ANT or Bus and make certs for giving your allies enemy pings.
Something more reliable than that is to cloak the ant and go run over mass quantities of enemy troops spawning at a sunderer. You get more certs in 10 seconds than you would in 10 minutes of driving all over the place only looking for cortium and silos.
I think cortium harvesting is another good way to earn certs. Is always available, no enemies to stop you and so easy that becomes relaxing. You turn on your favorite music and take a ride through auraxis. Recommend if you need a break from all the high adrenaline battles.
Yeah I was debating putting that one in. Opted for something that is actually doing something s a criteria tho. Cortina farming in my book toes the line of exploit tbh since it isn't playing the game as intended and I don't think a good way to show off the game to newer players would be to highlight a mundane playstyle.
@@ApolloPS2 i would have preferred if you did put it in, with the explicit caveat of the benefits of proper router and OS use, because yes it's kind of lame to have people eat all the good coritum just to recycle into useless silos, having more cognisant miners around feeding OS bases and forward outposts and more players learning to router plant would make the faction they're in do a lot better. as an "ant main" since it's release i've turned entire continents completley by myself with a well placed router or OS, not to mention the sheer number of certs and **DOPAMINE** hitting a 50+ kill OS brings can't be beat, but as you said in your video, this is incredibly niche, and has a LOT of start up capital. i just think if people are more educated about what ants can really do for the continent at large we'd see less selfish brainless miners. maybe do a follow up vid at some point :)
As someone who just started, I did this with medic and I've made enough to unlock a lot of stuff on other classes I like besides weapons, those I'm more picky with cause they're pricey haha. Staying alive in a fight for like 20-30 mins and getting dozens of revives and healing rakes in the certs and the assault rifles make you a killing machine if you wanna be.
@@Stygiophobic Here is some advice to keep your ass out of the fire: Learn to duck! Infiltrators see you as a juicy Terry's chocolate orange, so keep your head down and stay out of their sightlines. If you can, get the drop on em if you can. If you have friends and they light their ass up and watch em run for the hills!
@@Stygiophobic Another tip for ya: Learn the cloak and decloak noises. NC: Sounds like an Industrial cloaking unit. TR: More stream lined sound. VS: Sounds pretty organic.
Tried and true method. Unlock medkits then max that healing tool. After that nanoweave (now debatable but I still think it's a must have for new players unfortunately), by then u can try out different classes and see what u like. After that you will know what u want to further cert out.

In my experience, it's all comes down to playstyle. A friend of mine was printing money with AI Lightning, while I was only good at dying with it. On the other hand, I made a lot of money with well placed sunderers, that everyone used (cos all not-so-well-placed ones were killed). And air is still, probably, the most broken way to farm anything ground-related for those who have time to master the controlls.
Great video! I am recently getting back into ps2 after more than a year and am very pleased with it! It's like an old friend you always know will be there for you even after years! Anyways there is still a lot of top level gear I need to grind out. Hopefully this will help!
fastest inital method is (boringly enough) revives. Res-nades and grenade bandolier for up to 4 res nades (do note that you don't want to spam them, as it costs 75 nanites PER GRENADE) to restock when you respawn. find a big meat grinder, and wait for a bunch of dead bodies (also look for enemy nades near masses of friendlies. you can often pre-fire your nade to ensure other medics don't steal your revives.)
Agreed. I rushed this one out a bit since the new player experience update hit live a bit earlier than I thought and I was going away. I'll revisit this subject with updated thoughts early next year but for sure with visuals of each activity.
An super easy and always accesable way to get cert is just taking a fnt and farm kortium. spawn a silo, put it in, look for more, new silo, etc- i used to do that sometimes because im not that good at aiming and you could do it while doing sth else and you dont need anyone else. just wouldnt recommend it in the long run

I like the passive ways of farming. I'm a terrible shooter and have bad connection, so just chilling inside a Valkyrie equipped with Scout Radar (it's 200m, the double a Flash has) will earn me more certs than if I try my luck at killing enemies. I do this while people respawn on my well-placed routers, which is just like reviving people, minus the trouble of having to dodge bullets and competition with other medics.
One of the best parts of Planetside are the insane number of ways u can support your team and the fact that the current state of the game rewards you for it well.
My personal favorite was always revive grenades with bando at massive choke points. I always found myself easily getting 10 or close to ten revives per grenade. 50 of those grenades and you get 150 credits. Then pair in the healing and objective time, alongside any potential kills (even if you only get a few), run a Punisher for even more heal grenades, and you will find yourself with 500-1000 credits from two weekend sessions.
Betelguese. Vanu LMG directive reward. It's a default Orion that u cannot throw a barrel attachment onto but u get a heat mechanic for ammo. Orion is a better 1v1 weapon but the betel is very convenient for normal farming.
One thing I've noticed watching your footage is that you regularly use the knife successfully, and I don't think I've ever been killed by someone using a knife in the last 10 hours of play. I think of all the times that people have been right in my face and MIGHT have killed me, but they didn't because they were jumping around trying to shoot me with a pistol or something. I'm also guilty of trying to do the same thing in a panic. Remember the knife!
All great players use their knives and pistols easily 10 times more often than the average player. Think about how often you use them and then remind yourself that it isn't often enough and you'll notice you are much harder to kill 😀
When I start a new character the first things I get are QCQ Sniper, Stalker Cloak and HESH for Lightning. When I started my NSO it was funny watching the Haxusations in yell chat with a 6-20+ KDR at BR20-30 from bailing out of the lightning and redeploying. :) That KDR rapidly drops off to 3-5 KDR when using the certs gain from Inf to equip HA. The other thing I noticed on the road to BR100 again (with missions), missions are FAR more generous before BR100. Not sure at what point the mission system considers you to be at End game, but those mission rewards get stingy quick.. I often get asked how to keep a high KDR or get a lot of kills without dying and my answer is honestly simple, stop following the sheep. There are three types of players when fighting a Zerg, those who farm the entrance or support those keep them at bay, and those who find alternative routes to flank who seek more profit and often encounter those seeking to do the same. The third would be the Zergling who has no care for his KDR and just plays for fun and charging in to gun fire with their entire squad is fun to them.
I can't believe you don't include cortium mining. It's the most cosistent way for a new player to get certs. Especially off hours when you can do it pretty much alone. Yes it's boring as hell, but watch tv or something while you do it. I used to trade all my merits for 50% xp boost then wait for a double xp weekend and boom 400% xp boost.
3:16 I remember that when I were playing with my (faded into obscurity long ago) NC Outfit, when (upon my request) someone was evaluating me for a promotion, I failed, because I couldn't lead AND fight at the same time. I mean, that I wouldn't be able to lead while I'm in a firefight
Interesting but it can be true. Very few can do both effectively at the same time. I know I'm a much better leader when not farming, but it's hard to stop so I see the logic. For the vast majority of folks to lead u need to be willing to tone down the intensity of ur own play to make the right call quickly.

Kinda figured out on my own actually, set some graphic options to low and upped vibrance through nvidia. Things look much better now, the textures blend together better and players stand out more from the environment :D
Exactly! It's pretty much potato with most of the real harsh downgrades turned up but the vibrance is from nvidia reshade. I'm not near my pc for a few days but I'll reply with the exact settings when I get back.

And want to play as something else for a while... at least. Besides, I feel the most "comfortable" when engaging around 10~20m anyway.

My favorite way to gain certs isn't on this list... Be a gunner in an aircraft. Bombing runs when you or those with you can hit things are very profitable and I found I have a love for the kobalt. My old thing was repairs...

What I don't like is it removes any addition to be in the rumble seat as engi. Light assault and heavy assault have their rockets. The medic allows healing. The infiltrator. Their darts (or if you can get a stable valk. Air support sniper is a fun way to play despite not being smart.) the engi allowed for the repairs. Now if they gave a heat based weapon. IE their turret. It would make them have a reason to be seated there when not driving. Moving back. As I said I've been playing for years. Now I'm not going to say I have everything I can get with certs because while I have been playing for years I haven't been cert farming. So now that I have decided to cert farm I find videos like this one of yours amazing. Another thought I had while typing out the last bit. I wish there was a better way to do bombing runs though. Sitting in the air focusing on target after target is frustrating. I want to be able to cause disruptions in combat as aircraft by virtue of 4 round bombing. I feel Lib would be perfect for. Use its bottom gun give it 4 rounds before needing to reload 16 rounds in total before needing to restock. Large area and long reload time. Would make libs more terrifying in terms of something you don't want flying overhead. Have them do minimal damage to vehicles though. Just powerful anti infantry explosives.
@@syncringe1885 yeah I think adding some sort of functionality to the rumble seat (without it getting to wild lol) and reworking something like the zephyr to be a more unique bomber would be nice.
@@ApolloPS2 I mean the turret idea kinda makes sense when you think about it. A mounted gun. It would allow for some modular air support. Bouncing between a more AV and ai support. The turrets are strong but they do have their limits. This would extend them a bit without completely breaking the game. Allowing for a bit of a realistic (well realistic within the confines of the game) feel to how an open sided aircraft would give. Or possible only facing backwards on the flash. A dumb idea but a semi balanced one that could be fun. Specially for hit and run situations. The guy on the back poking (because good luck aiming when going fast) anyone they miss. The Chimera would just give it again modular support bouncing between vehicle and infantry pending on turret type. And its not like the turrets are that powerful. Just really supposed to be support.
I have been using battle rifles, and I need some advice on what sidearm to use to supplement the battle rifles realative weakness in cqc, I normally play Combat medic and im currently playing for VS
Logged in for the first time in a week and a half yesterday and decided to try it out before it got nerfed. I shot a guy from 500m up and laughed my ass off.
I'd say a 4 core 8 threaded cpu and 1070 or better will do u good. The game will benefit noticeably going up to an 8 core or powerful 6 core 12 thread cpu and the gpu power of a 2070 super or 1080ti. For resolutions past 1080p you'll want more GPU power obviously.
The video showed nothing of the weapons or tactics used for any certs that would actually help a new player. I saw a lot of very effective killing with uber weapons. Would have been better to show the actual starting weapons and tactics that can be used by new players (all factions) not just the "pay for play" outfits and weapons.

Select primary on the loadout screen and scroll down. You don't get an SMG unlocked by default unfortunately so you will need to purchase one with your hard earned cert points. Common advice for newer players is to wait a bit before buying weapons with certs and instead upgrade your class abilities. The default weapons are all very good. The ones you unlock typically excel in niche areas. SMG is probably the only gun that is worth getting earlier tho since it will be available to every infantry class.
Watching some of that footage almost looks like you’re playing against bots. That clip where you run up the stairs of the double stack being held by TR with a router you literally turn you back on a manned anti infantry gun and several other players to stare at a corpse getting back up for 2-3 seconds and don’t take a single shot while you walk up the rest of the stairs, kill 6 people and clear the router. What server has players like this?
While emerald TR are indeed pitiful, if u look closer u will realize that the turret is unmanned and I am leading a push with allies coming from multiple enterances while using cover advantageously. The only threats looking at me have one of my allies lighting them up and the main objective is to take out the router so I focused that. We outnumbered them pretty quickly, so while I was lucky not to die, my survival wasn't all that unlikely. If I did die, it wouldn't be a big deal as long as their router was destroyed.
Betelguese. You don't see it since it is the VS LMG directive reward weapon. It is an Orion that has no attachments (no forward grip or laser sight) but u get the heat mechanic. Orion is the better 1v1 weapon but the betel is better for farming so u see folks opt for it instead unless they wanna sweat against good players haha.
I mean, an even more boring, and slightly exploitative way to earn certs is to just hop into an ANT with the thruster and harvest the corotium at the WG. Corotium there respawns instantly, and by spamming the thruster you can drain your tank in a matter of seconds (like, spamming the button drains it faster than holding it) This is so bad that it's not even worth it to deposit the corotium, just burn it with the thruster, and watch the certs roll in with 0 risk Yeah, that should be fixed. (at least it isn't as bad as the now nerfed decaying building repair, i legit went from level 40 or so to lv 90 in a single day when that was around)
I play on the VS faction, though some of these weapons (marked with NS) are common pool and available to all factions. They are also purchased with certs the in game experience currency in planetside 2 (some of them also have cosmetic variants but there are free to play equivalents).

I always recommend to start looking for folks to help dip ur toes into air and armor once u get the fundamentals of infantry down. Some folks r just built for it but everyone should give it a go.

All wehicles are great cert maker but mostly u need to spend all ot to be able hold on your own ^^ but to be honest new players shuld try ant xD colecting and dumping this crystals to silo is wery profitable and u can make ant a great farming tool just fix on it kobalt and cloke, besides u can learn map for future armor combat

Did you shoot through a wall to kill someone? Hackusations are fairly common coming from more sensitive players. If you get banned in this game it likely means you had it coming. If you did something you shouldn't have done unintentionally from what I've seen you'll almost always get a 3 or 7 day ban first before a permanent one (unless what u did was clearly nefarious or you did a chargeback on your credit card).

It's not the fastest but it's thee most reliable. You could also just sit under a bio lap with a scout radar ANT or Bus and make certs for giving your allies enemy pings.
i did this when i've been feeding too much, and wanting to farm exp/certs. definitely works, especially if it's a squad member's silo
Something more reliable than that is to cloak the ant and go run over mass quantities of enemy troops spawning at a sunderer. You get more certs in 10 seconds than you would in 10 minutes of driving all over the place only looking for cortium and silos.
I think cortium harvesting is another good way to earn certs. Is always available, no enemies to stop you and so easy that becomes relaxing. You turn on your favorite music and take a ride through auraxis. Recommend if you need a break from all the high adrenaline battles.
Yeah I was debating putting that one in. Opted for something that is actually doing something s a criteria tho. Cortina farming in my book toes the line of exploit tbh since it isn't playing the game as intended and I don't think a good way to show off the game to newer players would be to highlight a mundane playstyle.
@@ApolloPS2 i would have preferred if you did put it in, with the explicit caveat of the benefits of proper router and OS use, because yes it's kind of lame to have people eat all the good coritum just to recycle into useless silos, having more cognisant miners around feeding OS bases and forward outposts and more players learning to router plant would make the faction they're in do a lot better. as an "ant main" since it's release i've turned entire continents completley by myself with a well placed router or OS, not to mention the sheer number of certs and **DOPAMINE** hitting a 50+ kill OS brings can't be beat, but as you said in your video, this is incredibly niche, and has a LOT of start up capital. i just think if people are more educated about what ants can really do for the continent at large we'd see less selfish brainless miners. maybe do a follow up vid at some point :)

My advice: Play Medic or Engineer till you get enough Certs to start unlocking some tools of them or the other classes.
As someone who just started, I did this with medic and I've made enough to unlock a lot of stuff on other classes I like besides weapons, those I'm more picky with cause they're pricey haha. Staying alive in a fight for like 20-30 mins and getting dozens of revives and healing rakes in the certs and the assault rifles make you a killing machine if you wanna be.

If you can, get the drop on em if you can. If you have friends and they light their ass up and watch em run for the hills!

Tried and true method. Unlock medkits then max that healing tool. After that nanoweave (now debatable but I still think it's a must have for new players unfortunately), by then u can try out different classes and see what u like. After that you will know what u want to further cert out.

In my experience, it's all comes down to playstyle. A friend of mine was printing money with AI Lightning, while I was only good at dying with it. On the other hand, I made a lot of money with well placed sunderers, that everyone used (cos all not-so-well-placed ones were killed). And air is still, probably, the most broken way to farm anything ground-related for those who have time to master the controlls.
Great video! I am recently getting back into ps2 after more than a year and am very pleased with it! It's like an old friend you always know will be there for you even after years! Anyways there is still a lot of top level gear I need to grind out. Hopefully this will help!

fastest inital method is (boringly enough) revives. Res-nades and grenade bandolier for up to 4 res nades (do note that you don't want to spam them, as it costs 75 nanites PER GRENADE) to restock when you respawn.
find a big meat grinder, and wait for a bunch of dead bodies (also look for enemy nades near masses of friendlies. you can often pre-fire your nade to ensure other medics don't steal your revives.)

An super easy and always accesable way to get cert is just taking a fnt and farm kortium. spawn a silo, put it in, look for more, new silo, etc- i used to do that sometimes because im not that good at aiming and you could do it while doing sth else and you dont need anyone else. just wouldnt recommend it in the long run

I like the passive ways of farming. I'm a terrible shooter and have bad connection, so just chilling inside a Valkyrie equipped with Scout Radar (it's 200m, the double a Flash has) will earn me more certs than if I try my luck at killing enemies.
I do this while people respawn on my well-placed routers, which is just like reviving people, minus the trouble of having to dodge bullets and competition with other medics.
One of the best parts of Planetside are the insane number of ways u can support your team and the fact that the current state of the game rewards you for it well.
My personal favorite was always revive grenades with bando at massive choke points. I always found myself easily getting 10 or close to ten revives per grenade. 50 of those grenades and you get 150 credits. Then pair in the healing and objective time, alongside any potential kills (even if you only get a few), run a Punisher for even more heal grenades, and you will find yourself with 500-1000 credits from two weekend sessions.

Betelguese. Vanu LMG directive reward. It's a default Orion that u cannot throw a barrel attachment onto but u get a heat mechanic for ammo. Orion is a better 1v1 weapon but the betel is very convenient for normal farming.

One thing I've noticed watching your footage is that you regularly use the knife successfully, and I don't think I've ever been killed by someone using a knife in the last 10 hours of play. I think of all the times that people have been right in my face and MIGHT have killed me, but they didn't because they were jumping around trying to shoot me with a pistol or something. I'm also guilty of trying to do the same thing in a panic. Remember the knife!
All great players use their knives and pistols easily 10 times more often than the average player. Think about how often you use them and then remind yourself that it isn't often enough and you'll notice you are much harder to kill 😀

When I start a new character the first things I get are QCQ Sniper, Stalker Cloak and HESH for Lightning. When I started my NSO it was funny watching the Haxusations in yell chat with a 6-20+ KDR at BR20-30 from bailing out of the lightning and redeploying. :) That KDR rapidly drops off to 3-5 KDR when using the certs gain from Inf to equip HA.
The other thing I noticed on the road to BR100 again (with missions), missions are FAR more generous before BR100. Not sure at what point the mission system considers you to be at End game, but those mission rewards get stingy quick..
I often get asked how to keep a high KDR or get a lot of kills without dying and my answer is honestly simple, stop following the sheep. There are three types of players when fighting a Zerg, those who farm the entrance or support those keep them at bay, and those who find alternative routes to flank who seek more profit and often encounter those seeking to do the same. The third would be the Zergling who has no care for his KDR and just plays for fun and charging in to gun fire with their entire squad is fun to them.

I can't believe you don't include cortium mining. It's the most cosistent way for a new player to get certs. Especially off hours when you can do it pretty much alone. Yes it's boring as hell, but watch tv or something while you do it. I used to trade all my merits for 50% xp boost then wait for a double xp weekend and boom 400% xp boost.
Was going to include it but it's a borderline exploit if we r being realistic so I left it off.

Kinda figured out on my own actually, set some graphic options to low and upped vibrance through nvidia. Things look much better now, the textures blend together better and players stand out more from the environment :D
Exactly! It's pretty much potato with most of the real harsh downgrades turned up but the vibrance is from nvidia reshade. I'm not near my pc for a few days but I'll reply with the exact settings when I get back.

My favorite way to gain certs isn't on this list... Be a gunner in an aircraft. Bombing runs when you or those with you can hit things are very profitable and I found I have a love for the kobalt.

Now, a bit of a tangent, I miss doing that. What I don't like is it removes any addition to be in the rumble seat as engi. Light assault and heavy assault have their rockets. The medic allows healing. The infiltrator. Their darts (or if you can get a stable valk. Air support sniper is a fun way to play despite not being smart.) the engi allowed for the repairs. Now if they gave a heat based weapon. IE their turret. It would make them have a reason to be seated there when not driving.
Moving back. As I said I've been playing for years. Now I'm not going to say I have everything I can get with certs because while I have been playing for years I haven't been cert farming. So now that I have decided to cert farm I find videos like this one of yours amazing.
Another thought I had while typing out the last bit. I wish there was a better way to do bombing runs though. Sitting in the air focusing on target after target is frustrating. I want to be able to cause disruptions in combat as aircraft by virtue of 4 round bombing. I feel Lib would be perfect for. Use its bottom gun give it 4 rounds before needing to reload 16 rounds in total before needing to restock. Large area and long reload time. Would make libs more terrifying in terms of something you don't want flying overhead. Have them do minimal damage to vehicles though. Just powerful anti infantry explosives.
@@syncringe1885 yeah I think adding some sort of functionality to the rumble seat (without it getting to wild lol) and reworking something like the zephyr to be a more unique bomber would be nice.
@@ApolloPS2 I mean the turret idea kinda makes sense when you think about it. A mounted gun. It would allow for some modular air support. Bouncing between a more AV and ai support. The turrets are strong but they do have their limits. This would extend them a bit without completely breaking the game. Allowing for a bit of a realistic (well realistic within the confines of the game) feel to how an open sided aircraft would give. Or possible only facing backwards on the flash. A dumb idea but a semi balanced one that could be fun. Specially for hit and run situations. The guy on the back poking (because good luck aiming when going fast) anyone they miss. The Chimera would just give it again modular support bouncing between vehicle and infantry pending on turret type. And its not like the turrets are that powerful. Just really supposed to be support.

I have been using battle rifles, and I need some advice on what sidearm to use to supplement the battle rifles realative weakness in cqc, I normally play Combat medic and im currently playing for VS
I think any revolver does well for any loadout, but I bet the spammability of a pilot would help a lot as well.

Both are outfit assets where you need to be a rank in the outfit that allows you to pull such vehicles and have them already crafted.

I'd say a 4 core 8 threaded cpu and 1070 or better will do u good. The game will benefit noticeably going up to an 8 core or powerful 6 core 12 thread cpu and the gpu power of a 2070 super or 1080ti.
For resolutions past 1080p you'll want more GPU power obviously.

The video showed nothing of the weapons or tactics used for any certs that would actually help a new player. I saw a lot of very effective killing with uber weapons. Would have been better to show the actual starting weapons and tactics that can be used by new players (all factions) not just the "pay for play" outfits and weapons.

Select primary on the loadout screen and scroll down. You don't get an SMG unlocked by default unfortunately so you will need to purchase one with your hard earned cert points. Common advice for newer players is to wait a bit before buying weapons with certs and instead upgrade your class abilities. The default weapons are all very good. The ones you unlock typically excel in niche areas. SMG is probably the only gun that is worth getting earlier tho since it will be available to every infantry class.

Watching some of that footage almost looks like you’re playing against bots.
That clip where you run up the stairs of the double stack being held by TR with a router you literally turn you back on a manned anti infantry gun and several other players to stare at a corpse getting back up for 2-3 seconds and don’t take a single shot while you walk up the rest of the stairs, kill 6 people and clear the router. What server has players like this?
While emerald TR are indeed pitiful, if u look closer u will realize that the turret is unmanned and I am leading a push with allies coming from multiple enterances while using cover advantageously. The only threats looking at me have one of my allies lighting them up and the main objective is to take out the router so I focused that. We outnumbered them pretty quickly, so while I was lucky not to die, my survival wasn't all that unlikely. If I did die, it wouldn't be a big deal as long as their router was destroyed.

I mean, an even more boring, and slightly exploitative way to earn certs is to just hop into an ANT with the thruster and harvest the corotium at the WG.
Corotium there respawns instantly, and by spamming the thruster you can drain your tank in a matter of seconds (like, spamming the button drains it faster than holding it)
This is so bad that it's not even worth it to deposit the corotium, just burn it with the thruster, and watch the certs roll in with 0 risk

I play on the VS faction, though some of these weapons (marked with NS) are common pool and available to all factions. They are also purchased with certs the in game experience currency in planetside 2 (some of them also have cosmetic variants but there are free to play equivalents).

learn to drive armor and fly as well flying goes a long ways when you don't want to be on the ground and the AA isn't heavy.
I always recommend to start looking for folks to help dip ur toes into air and armor once u get the fundamentals of infantry down. Some folks r just built for it but everyone should give it a go.

Did you shoot through a wall to kill someone? Hackusations are fairly common coming from more sensitive players. If you get banned in this game it likely means you had it coming. If you did something you shouldn't have done unintentionally from what I've seen you'll almost always get a 3 or 7 day ban first before a permanent one (unless what u did was clearly nefarious or you did a chargeback on your credit card).
