heyy im making a finn and jake hat with ur patterns for me and my partner for his christmas present. its going so well so far!! thank you so much for your free tutorials, ur super talented. hopefully will try out ur patterns for clothes as well when i have more time! thank u so much, and hope u have a lovely day!
Hi can you do a hambo pattern? I want to do it but I still struggle with basics of amigurimi or just magic circle in general. I know how to finish rows but I always get told to do another pattern of snitches the next row. I gave up so I need more guidance. I would love to see the video if possible please! Btw hambo marceline’s doll
you can also start a hat with a chain 4 but this is what I would do for the hambo hat. ua-cam.com/video/1clVt8IWHYY/v-deo.htmlsi=X_7sUq1E-Yxb5v3b the first 6 rows are going to be the green color and the rest is going to be lilac color for the ear bumps id say follow what I did on this the finn video that’s linked in the description but instead of a magic ring start with a chain 4 for the face patch i would make a square of 6 chains and making 8 rows of single crochets and then sew it like the doll and not regularly for the eyes I would do the first 2 rows I did in the beginning and one of them would be plain and the other i’ll sew an x on it to make the mouth just grab a sewing needle with yarn and go in and out until you have the curved shape for more guidance dm on Insta! you can send pics and I can send videos with more explanations. dayannacelaya_
this is an adult sized pattern and you could inc on the 7th row every 12 stitches but then it would be too big but that would be the only change you would do
@@DayannasCreationsThank you, I also keep accidentally increasing when i do the nose part aswell, as i keep going up the cylinder is getting wider. How do i prevent this
yes but it would alter the pattern completely, you’d do hdc instead of dc and do as many increasing rows until the diameter measures 7 inches and you’d have to play around with it and see what works best for you
For every round after the 12 double crochets, do I slip stitch into the chain 2 or the top of the first stitch? I’m confused since you don’t show how you end the rounds. I’m excited to make this 🩵💛
@@DayannasCreations ok thank you sm, i appreciate the fact u reply and actually help unlike a lot of other crochet youtubers that should be the last thing
Hola!

the first 6 rows are going to be the green color and the rest is going to be lilac color
for the ear bumps id say follow what I did on this the finn video that’s linked in the description but instead of a magic ring start with a chain 4
for the face patch i would make a square of 6 chains and making 8 rows of single crochets and then sew it like the doll and not regularly
for the eyes I would do the first 2 rows I did in the beginning and one of them would be plain and the other i’ll sew an x on it
to make the mouth just grab a sewing needle with yarn and go in and out until you have the curved shape

@@DayannasCreations thanks this came out super cute 🥺💙
@Mianna. I would love to see!!!! can you dm on insta? dayannacelaya_
SO CUTEEE, I LOVE IT^^
How would I go about making a larger sized hat?
this is an adult sized pattern and you could inc on the 7th row every 12 stitches but then it would be too big but that would be the only change you would do
@@DayannasCreationsThank you so much!!!
when you were making the nose, in each row did u slip stitch and chain up? or did u just keep going around?
yes, always slip stitch
@@DayannasCreationsThank you, I also keep accidentally increasing when i do the nose part aswell, as i keep going up the cylinder is getting wider. How do i prevent this
@neozemm count your stitches as you go and you’ll notice when you have an extra one or missing one
@@DayannasCreationsdoes the slip stitch count as one?
@neozemm slip stitch and chain 1 counts as one and makes the rows be separated and not become spiral
Would one skein of yarn be enough for this project?
yes! I used red heart yarn for this and it’s more than enough
@@DayannasCreations okayy tysm for the fast reply🩵🩵!
@ivtou9163 any questions i’m always here
What size hook are you using? I only have one size since I just started so I was curious if I needed to purchase a new one
0:09
Can we do this with chunky yarn as well?
yes but it would alter the pattern completely, you’d do hdc instead of dc and do as many increasing rows until the diameter measures 7 inches and you’d have to play around with it and see what works best for you
Hi! May I know what hex code of the yarn color you've used ?
I used “gold” by red heart yarn and right now I don’t have that color but I got the code from the joann app which is #10326619
how do you tie off the magic circle?
close it off, make a knot, put hook underneath a loop, split yarn in half, one part goes underneath, other stays on top, tie it off and cut off excess
For every round after the 12 double crochets, do I slip stitch into the chain 2 or the top of the first stitch? I’m confused since you don’t show how you end the rounds. I’m excited to make this 🩵💛
you slip stitch and chain two to start every row!
im 5 months late, but your answer for this pattern in particular is to slip stitch into the top of your ch2 :)
@snailegy yes sl st and chain 2
What do I do if my beanie ends up too small? :(
your tendon might be a little bit tighter than mine causing it to shrink, loosen up a little bit so that it fits like mine
maybe try stretching it out??
How do u do the first ear flap??
same way as the first one, nothing changes except you cut off the first one and not the second one
@@DayannasCreationsok thank you
they shouldn’t be too long, just long enough where it covers your ears! but adjust to ur liking
@@DayannasCreations ok thank you sm, i appreciate the fact u reply and actually help unlike a lot of other crochet youtubers that should be the last thing
@humanbeing166 ofc! im here to help with everything
Hola! Cómo podría hacerlo más pequeño para un niño de 6 años?
