I often notice that as I hold the caliper in the cut, waiting for it to reach the right diameter, I see the caliper nut is turning, opening the caliper! Is there a fix for that? I could pinch it to keep from moving, mid-cut...

A better outside caliper with a stronger spring will keep that from happening. Or maybe let it sit outside and rust a little. Elia
