Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words, and also thanks for all the "constructive" criticism, haha! I will keep trying to do my best to answer anyone that has any type of question for me.
Oh, luckily for everyone who wants to see more emotion, I have pretty bad allergies at the moment, so I might just look like I'm crying at the next show! :)

Mikes style is perfect for Fear Factory. Most drummers I've played with hate playing to clicktracks every show because it kills the feel of playing. Props to Mike for playing to a click every night. If you want expressive playing then check out Mike in Malignancy. And the drummer debate is boring as fuck, go watch Mikes playing in Malignancy and then come back here and tell me any past drummer in FF could pull that off as cleanly as Mike is. I've been a fan of FF for 20 years, and I can admit that Herrera was sloppy as fuck, seen them plenty of times in the old days. Gene was solid though, but a band like FF need a dedicated drummer and Gene wasn't dedicated enough to the band. Mike is fantastic and deserves much more praise, dude can play anything, I swear

My respect for Mike keeps growing with time! I was very sceptical when he became part of the band. In my mind, no one could replace the drum machine that Raymond Herrera was! But nowadays, Mike as proven to be an worthy replacement.

guitarist dint. they think drums are easy. Haha just cause they know how to blast at 230bpms. that's what literally all guitarists I know told me haha. blasting fast is like playing in power chord fast and a few different frets.

Mike Heller used to slay in Malignancy man. He is one of the few drummers I have ever seen with 4 Hi Hats as well.

Yessir, still my band! We are recording a new album soon... I can't be at every show because of my commitments with FF, so I have a fill in, but Malignancy is still VERY much a part of me!

Hey Mike, I must confess I haven't heard Fear Factory's discopgraphy but I've been hearing Sigh's last album Shiki on loop, and I understand you're playing drums on that one. I have just one word to describe the drumming on that album - PHENOMENAL! It's incredibly energetic, brilliant in all the variations and technically proficient. I don't know if it was anywhere in your mind, but I get some Neil Peart vibes from your playing on that album.

Mike Heller is really amazing, the limb independence is ridiculous. I can't concentrate enough to pull this off, FF has always been very technical in that way with crazy DB patterns. Always been a fan.

So nice to see a drummer not indulge in stick tricks or emotive manuevers! This is precise music and he plays it perfectly. Although I am not a fan of this type of bass drum sound, you can hear that all his notes are dead on.

Interesting mix, nearly without vocals. Really puts the focus on the instrumentals, especially the drums, and that's what this channel is for! Though a bit more vocals wouldn't hurt ;)
