There are a ton of episodes on Amazon Prime. Great stuff! I have ancestors from Nottinghamshire (in the 16th century), so I checked UA-cam bc I couldn't recall if they'd been there (besides the Robin Hood episode)
I have just discovered this channel and I'm hooked for sure. I can feel the history as they dig it up I feel pride in what we as humans can construct and also sad to see the distinction we can cause. So glad people are here that care about saving and protecting our past.
I love the old woman wanting the stone masonry piece her husband found to be safe after they have gone. Love of history and saving it for future generations to appreciate as well. 🥰
At the beginning of the show it would have been great if the services of Lidar tech was available to scan the property of the castle remains. I think it would have made an awesome visual for the average person to get a idea of the scope of things. Anyway it is a great video with an interesting topic and subject matter.

I cannot stand Mary-Ann Ochota and Alex Langlands. I don't blame Mick Aston for walking off the show after arguing - and rightly so - that the Academic standards were slipping. Those two and whatever "genius" who decided on making this BRILLIANT show into a kindergarten poppycock cockup, talking down to people with all sorts of weird "demonstrations", rather than talking to & teaching the audience like adults, were absolutely DISASTROUS! They only needed one season, to kill the much loved Classic Time Team, that had run uninterrupted from 1994 until the sad and maddening end in 2013! I hope the new Time Team (www.youtube.com/@TimeTeamOfficial) steer well clear of such disasters. So far, they're off to a very good start! Of course, Professor Mick Aston died shortly after he lost the (very much correct) argument with the production bosses that Ochota & Langlands were dragging the High Standards of the show down. So, we won't be able to enjoy his wonderful guidance of the projects in the new series of Audience Funded Digs. But still, most of the old Masters are on the new team, and I absolutely LOVE every episode! 👍
I know many people love Sir Tony here, but I turn the sound off whenever I see him coming. He is a nasty bully who picks on the mild-mannered of the rest of the crew. He is not like that in programs where he is the only one presenting, but put him with anyone he can humiliate, and he just attacks. Not funny.
OMG! This show ROCKS!!! Both in historical importance and in pure entertainment. I adore how the crew acts with one another!!! More more more!!!

Tony is amazing. The whole team is solid folk. Bravo for their dedication.

Hey from Tennessee, I love this channel😎
15:56 desolatory -Causing desolation(devastation; ruin)
Pretty sure he meant desultory (random, unsequenced) not desolately.
From Ohio, USA. This team makes a great show!
Will Ohio swing red or blue this year?
@@tai-yomaruno3680 Almost certainly.
Too much to dig yet in England History. Amazing discoveries....

A bunch of hippies not caring about how they look...rather paying attention to what they discover!
I didn’t know Tommy Wiseau guest-starred on Time Team, LOL. :P
Most english documentary to date

Listen up Fools! These videos have been out for over 7 years! Do not pay this site to watch what is free on regular UA-cam!😡👍😎
Free episodes aren't HD. I get a lot more out of these HD episodes, so both free and these are appreciated
can someone explain to me why this videos look like they we're made in the 90's ?
It’s HD. What you smoking?
Maybe he is talking about the way the people are dressed because it is HD and definitely doesn't look like 90s docus
Elisabeth Schepers exactly, what’s with those clothes?
this series ran for sooo many seasons.280 episodes, starting in mid 90s
What I want to see if they put an egg on top of a bottle and see if the digger can break the egg and not the bottle.
