I had an Xpeng shipped to Matamoros and got it plated with Tamaulipas plates. One of the guys helping drove it to Brownsville TX and I picked it up at a hotel. Loaded it onto a car carrier I had waiting and got it to my home state. That was 9 months ago and it's been one of my favorite vehicles, I drive it every day. I should have waited for the X9 but was too impatient

Here in Europe, the market for these vehicles is quite limited. You can buy an XPeng P5 and P7 here in The Netherlands, but I doubt that anyone would want to buy this enormous car here. Because of its luxury features it will get into Mercedes-Benz territory, and will be priced alike here. The P7 costs at least 50000 euros now, I expect a price of 80000-100000 euros for this X9. Still less expensive than a Mercedes, but people looking for cars in that market segment tend to buy German by default here in Europe...

Hi @wheelsboy, cool video! One little tidbit about the physics of a drag coefficient: If that coefficient is lower on the Xpeng X9 compared to the Tesla Model Y, it doesn't mean, that it has less drag. To calculate the drag you also have to multiply by the front-facing area, which definitely is larger in the Xpeng X9.

The meaning of 'MPV' is 'Multi-Purpose Vehicle', a term that refers to cars designed to provide optimum practicality and comfort for large groups. Also commonly referred to as 'people carriers', MPV cars can have from five to nine seats, making them ideal for accommodating large families or groups.
