Sounds great. I would have undoubtedly purchased the Dream pedal but won't be because: No headphone out And no Midi. Maybe they come back in a few years with version 2 with headphone out, Midi control for preset switching, stereo xlr outputs.

However, users online have varying results of the output levels. I'm kinda in the same boat, a dedicated headphone out would make these pedals an instant-buy for me.
OK, got it - great idea! Not as a bass player, but as a "tech consultant" for some guitarists. I often see them "lost in multi-FX" - but having one "pedal" doing the amp-sound with boost and "something", that seems quite great for some guitarists. As sound tech I hate those guitarreros pulling up tons of "amps in their boxes" - would love to have them use "just the one pedal" (whatevery they like) and then can deal with the sound as "they used a real amp" ... love the idea, liked!
I’ve been a fan of Line 6 and Fractal for years. Owning several units from both companies. But - as a gigging musician from the pre-simulator days, a guy who bought the Marshalls, Mesa’s and Fender amps - I always lean towards my analog amps. But in recent years, I leaned into Line 6 gear for silent stage. But (and here’s my point) - even when using Helix or Fractal, I tended to lean on one amp for my tones. I have to say - this is such a better solution (and more affordable). Plus, all these pedals seem to take OD pedals extremely well. Think I might need to buy one or two of these.

Tore, my Mom's maiden name was "Morgenstern", for what it's worth. I understand about speaker swaps. Many years ago I found a '59 Fender Super at a guitar show. it was all original, except that the Jensens had been replaced with Celestions long before. I didn't understand why this had been done, but the amp sounded so good and was so affordable (then), I asked no questions. I later learned that the original Jensen P-10S used to blow out on a regular bass and that the Celestions never did. Mystery solved, amp improved. In any event, your amp/speaker modeling pedals take care of all that. Your modeled speakers won't blow out, I assume. :D Mod pedal after or before he pedal board?

For the price I think they could include the power cable. I have never bought a piece of equipment that didn't come with its own power cable. What's next the control knobs?
A few years ago a lot of effects came with power supplies. Nowadays though none of the 9V "standard power" pedals come with one. That has two reasons. First of all they don't want to sell a power supply even though most people don't use them (almost everyone has a multi power supply). Second, the brands want to save costs and make the packaging as small as possible. I fully understand the frustration but there is an upside to this logic: if you purchase one isolated multi power supply you can power all your existing and future pedals and that without noise. Two questions then: 1) in such configuration can the pedal run directly into the front end of my physical amp? 2) in such configuration where would you place the pedal in the signal chain? With drives or at the end after delays?
Yes, these can be run into a physical amplifier in front of the amp or via 4 cable method there are different connection diagrams on universal audio’s website in the owners manuals with the 4 cable method, you can get the amp pedal Sounds when the pedal is engaged or the physical amp sound when the pedal is disengaged as far as the signal chain, you can try everything drives before the amp pedal and time based effects behind it nothing is right or wrong. Some other company will do it better just be patient and wait. Save your money. These are just too limited for our needs. I'd like to see a small pedal amp sim with multiple amps and speakers/ IR's not just one amp, I'd like to see multiple presets. For $400 that's pretty lame. No headphone jack or XLR outs. These pedals are an example of poorly implemented technology.

I wouldn’t say useless, but MIDI definitely would have been super cool.
If you’re using it as an amp to go direct you’re not going to be constantly needing to adjust it. It’s not like we’re adjusting our amps all night long at a gig. It has Bluetooth though, so maybe a WIDI firmware update or something could be possible in the future for some wireless MIDI options.

Not a fan of the dig Tore took at the Strymon Iridium when talking about cabs. No reason to talk crap about your competitors like that. 🤨
Tore, u ok? You look a bit too slim here… :-/
Hey Berta, Tore is doing great, he went running in Bamberg in the morning before we shot the video. :) He's stronger than life! Cheers //Kris
