In the HVAC industry there is a cleverly designed special tool that allows one to remove and replace a valve core without losing significant refrigerant. The tool comes with a shutoff valve that can be closed once the valve core has been loosened and withdrawn a little into a closed chamber. Once the shutoff valve is closed, the chamber is opened and the valve core replaced. I don't know if those tools will work on the somewhat different automotive valve cores, probably not.

On GM vehicles the high side has a service port that the schrader valve is covered with a black rubber. You have to remove the service port and replace it. Requiring you to evacuate the system first and the recharge it after it's replaced.

My 2007 f150 is having issues ,the tire pressure lights flashes or stays on then off ,then other indicators come on engine and others the tack quits the speed indicator stops ,these come on and off ,it's like a cycle ,when the tires indicator comes on these happen, but they don't come on only when the tire pressure comes on ,yet all tires are not low

The Ford dealer said back in 2007 was the beginning of these indicators and had issues like this ,they said once the sencor for the tires dies it creates issues with the other features, not sure what to think ,??? They replace the tire sencor and all should be OK
