Alex LIfeson has said many times that this is his favorite guitar solo from their catalog. He's a genius with that instrument that too often gets overlooked behind Neil and Geddy. Props to Alex. Rush rules.
That high held note at the end of the solo just goes right thru my brain….always causes me to have an emotional response
This solo and Mike Rutherford's solo on Silent Running are my favorite solos of the 80's for the same reasons... They so elastic
