Thank you for sharing this video. Wow these reptiles are beautiful. Animals really are the best companions. We have a Maremma sheepdog, a cat and a tropical fish tank full of fish. I love them all. They have really helped me through the difficult times.
Hey Neil! How you doing? I hope you’re having a good day! I know your beautiful pets bring you joy!❤ I love that! You are a good person! Keep saving lives one video at a time!❤
So many reptiles. I learned alot. This was a really good video to post. It really shows how you rescuing/adopting is important to you and can be a great coping skill. I have always been scared of reptiles. Now you have given me some insight. I know you are doing well. ❤
@@Redneckkenobi I am one for living beings despite how I have felt about them before. 😆. Thanks for the education. I guess my favorite is Anakin. I have recently gotten into the Star Wars saga!!!
@@meahanley1112they really do give me fulfillment. They can be goofy and funny, sweet and snuggly. But I am drawn to them because they are so misunderstood. And I get that, reptiles a lot of times get looked at and are cast aside because they are different. But if you take the time to get to know them you can find joys in ways you never thought possible
@Redneckkenobi oh m gee! I love this. Cast them aside because they are different. Wow. You must know what that feels like. Your time at the ERs are certainly misunderstood. You are a great dad to those. All different. I love that!
I really enjoyed meeting your lizards. I can tell you care for them a lot. They are fortunate to have you. I haven’t really get any hobbies at the moment. I lost my partner last year and ended up spending 10 weeks in hospital myself with Lupus Nephritis….i also have Cirrhosis due to a rare auto immune liver disease. I feel tired a lot but did practise some crocheting. I’ve made a couple of blankets and a couple of scarfs. I used to teach pottery and miss that. I miss being creative. I loved painting and drawing and now feel a bit of a failure. I qualified a few years ago go as an acupuncturist and only worked a short time and then covid hit and then my partner got ill so I looked after him, moved to London and now feel completely lost but hopeful things will change. Thanks for your video and kindness.
It takes time. Don’t be hard on yourself. You’re not alone, it’s hard to deal with everything so I understand. Do what you can, look it as a chance to try new things. Hang in there! Keep fighting every day
@justagirl5593 Hey girl! I worked too but with people as a social worker. I miss it as well. Hang in there, I know how tough it must be. I used to teach mental health and substance abuse clients of ways to function even just a smidge. There are over tons of coping mechanisms out there. Even if you aren't painting I am sure you can picture what you could make that is artsy. Hone in on that skill. Imagery and breathing are fantastic ways to stay in the here and now!!! I am no expert only you are!☺️💚
@@meahanley1112 thanks for your reply. I will try that. I’ve also booked a counselling session online next week to see if that helps. I hope you’re doing well.
@justagirl5593 Great decision🤔! Tell them that you love homework, and that will also help distract you, give you insight🧐, and practice a skill. More power to you💪! If you do this, the power will be in your hands🖐 again! Goooo Get em'! Oh, and by the way: I am doing well. My mood is mostly up, but we all know that "bad" days are okay, too. Let me know how it goes!!!🤗
Stronger than me. Best to you

They really aren’t what people think they are. They live their lives being prey. And they all seem to take on their own personalities.
