- And so our saga comes to an end. It is not without casualties, but it's a dominant victory regardless. And one with a strange ending, if I do say so myself.

Suggest turning volume up quite a bit during the final scene, I jacked it up significantly from the level it's played at in the game, but it's still faint.
Are you planning to play Imperium Galactica 2 ;>
@@fremenGaming I am not It was an option in the poll for the next Viewer's Choice but there was very little interest in it.

It is really I great game, I bought it when I was a child and played for years. Litteraly. First reason, there was a bug with the CDs, every time there was a ground battle, there was a bug with the video...
Then, I wanted overprotection for my planets, I mean I had always full tanks on every planets.
It took me so long as a commander that I was eventually attacked by the green race, and directly became grand admiral, with still garthog existing.
To be able to develop every technologies with a small number of planets, I just built and destroyed research centers until research were done.
Even in that situation, I managed to win the game, I was so happy.
this was a really interesting game, makes me happy that it exists, and makes me sad that there isn't a star trek game of a similar caliber.
Glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely unique, both for better and worse.
Great series. This was one of my first exposures to the 4X genre, although the second cd had all cut scenes in French. Only recently managed to understand what was going on!
Excellent, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Now that I've finished the playlist, I must say: I really appreciate the ambition of this title despite it largely failing to splice genres smoothly. It certainly has its charms. The familiar (but likely undirected) voice actors delivering awkwardly written dialogue, the lovingly modeled pre-rendered ships, and much of the planetside sprite work all give me those wonderful late 90's fuzzy-wuzzies.
When I'm in the mood for something more "demanding" than my usual fare, I just might take this thing for a spin. An informative and entertaining playthrough, Sage! And I'll be sure to send my 4x/Grand Strat friends your channel's way!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the run.
Yes, this game might look a bit wacky sometimes but I think it's done with love and passion. Same can be said about it's spiritual predecessor i.e Reunion which was one of my favourie Amiga games long time ago.
Thanks for your gameplay. It was nice to refresh memories of playing it, under professional guidance and without wasting much more of this precious time you don't have so much as we had in our youth.
You're welcome! I'm glad you watched.
Thanks for the ride, it has been a pleasure! The free Open Imperium Galactica version might be worth some honorable mention. It adresses some of the game's flaws and offers improvements here and there. It also offers you the game without the campaign and even custom games, playing other civilisations.
You're welcome, it was mostly fun!
It's been a complete pleasure going on this journey with you. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Saw this game featured in a video by OldAndNewVideoGames and found your playlist after it piqued my interest. The dubs are pretty great. Thanks for making these -- subbed.
Glad you liked it - thanks for watching!
Yay! Thanks for sticking with it, despite the tediousness. And I agree, the endiong cinematic was a bit... umm... yeah, what was that? Looked like the intro to Bladerunner or sthg.
Uh, Did Facebook stick an Ad into your actual Playlist, or is it just me? (It's showing up between this video and 30).
Ok, that's super-weird. I have no idea how that happened, but I removed it. UA-cam probably having a 'moment' there for whatever reason.
@@strategicsage7694 Looks like it grew back to me. Wonder if Google's having a stroke.
@@carlsojos I deleted it again; I really don't know otherwhise. UA-cam does put ads on videos when they feel like it, but I've never heard besides this of them just putting a video in a playlist. Bizarre.
