Solo Backpacking on the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail | Route 653 to Route 30

Join me on another solo backpacking trip on the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail in Pennsylvania. The Route 653 to Route 30 section of the LHHT has several locations unique to this hiking trail. In this video I hiked the section of the trail in Seven Springs Ski Resort and traverse the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail bridge by Interstate 76. The video includes a step by step guide for how to hang a bear bag using the PCT method.

Another great hiking / backpacking narrative. Many years ago, I did a couple weeks on the Appalachian trail with scouts. We could have used the bear bag tips.. bears went all through our tents.. bye bye food 😂
