I take lessons and I’ve watched some other famous u tube teachers but couldn’t quite get it right. You did an AMAZING job of breaking down the exquisite rhythm that the opening riff requires. I’m hooked on your style of teaching. Perfect
I’ve been playin for over 30 years I’ve just discovered your channel I really love how you go about this . I just sent it to a friend that wants to learn . Your breakdown of this is really great
I'm brand new here. Wish I'd found you years ago!! I'm an older player,52 yrs old, but have played on and off for years. Only just recently started taking guitar seriously.
My first guitar, which I still own, is a 1969 Silverstone 12 string my grandfather owned and played in a travelling bluegrass band in the 1970s.
My current go to guitar is a 2021 Washburn SV9 acoustic.
Awesome! Just sat here practicing this song here for the past two hours and now my left arm won't move!
Fayetteville, NC 26 first guitar, Ibanez GX70 😆 One of my absolute top 10 songs right here! Favorite song, Kublai Khan,TX Self Destruct!
Angela thank you so much for breaking down this song for us. As usual the instructions were simple and accurate. Everlong is now part of my set list.. I played it last Friday night as the last song in the evening people went nuts they were not expecting that from my man on an acoustic. Please keep showing us these awesome tunes
My first guitar was a Danelectro electric and a small Sears Silvertone amp. I got it for Christmas in 1972 when I was 12. I never stopped playing and now I'm 63, so I've been playing for over 50 years! I never stopped playing or learning and that's why I'm on here. I've played in many different bands and as long as I have a guitar I'm never alone or bored.
Awesome my first Drop D tuning song. I'm 68 years young. First guitar which I still have is a Yamaha FG331 bought about 45 years ago. Yes it still plays and looks good. I really enjoy and learn from your lessons. Thank You so much. I hope to see you perform live someday.
Stumbled around guitar for many years. Your teaching is epic.
Thank you for the lessons. I am tuning in from Columbus, Ohio. My first guitar was given to me 50 years ago at Christmas by my grandfather. It was a an acoustic Gibson with a cherry red burst.
I look forward to your Saturday Guitar lessons. Your a natural as a teacher.
Hey Angela, Love the way teach.

Saw you on Norms rare guitars playing this song and Oh Well, you’re incredible! Love your teaching technique and song selection. Thanks
Another awesome lesson. My 1st guitar was a 71 Fender Tele bought in 72 and I still have it.
the hour goes by so fast (even with the rewinds)…and here again you’ve added depth and a better understanding of to this beautiful instrument. Thank you!!
Great lesson ... An alternative that I have seen Dave use for that FIRST position D chord is in 5th position : Open 6th string / 5th fret 5th string/ 7th fret 4th string / 7th fret third string
I've learned a few foo songs and never really tried this one even though it is one of my faves...
Great lesson and I am having a blast adding this to my set ( practice ) list. Thanks so much!
Looking in from Marion, AR - just outside Memphis. First guitar was a Taylor 314. Thx for the class, and yes I hit the subscribe button.
Thank you for playing it so I could sing it and see where the changes take place in conjunction with the singing

Watching from The Bootheel of Missouri. First guitar was a cheap student size Yamaha acoustic that was hard for me to play at 13. A few good guitars later, I gave it away.

I’m in the SF Bay Area. My first guitar was a cheap Hondo Les Paul copy that I got in the ‘70s. It was horrible. My first decent guitar was an Applause AA-14 that I got in ‘79 and still have.

howdie, from Tex........ii mean San Francisco. can't remember the name of my first guitar but i found out that you could slide a credit card underneath the back of the bridge.....not goood. so i got a Takamine, kuv it😂. Thanx for the lesson you're a great teacher!
Well done! Watching from Zurich, Switzerland.
Thank you so much
Hi… I don’t use drop D tuning often. My ears can’t perfectly pick up the 4th string D sound to match the sixth string. My tuners won’t pick it up also for the 6th string drop. So instead I can easily tune the 6 string to the 5 string A just by fretting the 6 string on the 7th fret. My tuners pick it up to match it perfectly for A. The 6 string becomes Drop D.
Thank You Angela 👍🏻 saludos 🇲🇽
👏👏👏👏 if only!! maybe one day!
Missed this but one of my favorite songs. I mainly sing but I have couple of go to songs that tend to play as go to. Wish by Pearl Jam and Bobcaygen by the Tragically Hip🇨🇦

Thank you! I have played this song incorrectly for years. ;)~ Seriously, the c# slide up etc...has always confused me. I can never play it and sing it at the same time. I'll check if you have a tutorial on That!. Best, Bart
gorgeous and the best guitar face on the planet
❤️❤️
you are wonderful! what do you use for you video and audio?
Dave mpls first ax acoutic ooo17 like the sound of it those strings make a dif nick.d adar?seems like your action low and bright nickel strings?some day gonna get one like it what p.ups
on the pre-chorus run, you mention using a 2-finger mute on the D string. Assume you meant the 6th string which is in Drop D... are you bending your fingers to also try and mute the 4th string D? And when you offer the option to release the mute to get that "droning D" into the chord, are you referring to the 6th string D or the 4th string D.... or both?
