    I'm 73, been playing since 15. Always just enough to accompany my voice and play the gigs. Your videos have given dimension to my guitar playing thus the performance end. Thank you.

    Wow, you are just what I need. I have my very best friends funeral next Monday & I was looking for something to play for him apart from Stairway to Heaven. I always promised I would play that for him if he passed away. Now I have 1 week to learn Tennessee Whiskey to accompany that. ThankYou. I’ll do it. I am so pleased I found your lesson. I saw your original post some time ago & saved it. Rediscovered it completely by accident while searching for another really cool tune.

    Impress with the way that you can connect with your students without trying. Most people take courses, watch videos of other instructors, and still not connect the way that you naturally do. I teach martial arts and have had several students state that my way of teaching made them want to train even more. This is how I feel with your style of teaching. Thanks for bringing out the musical version of me.

    I really love the way you teach and the way you put your own personality into playing and teaching oh and your beautiful smile doesn't hurt either. I haven't played in over 50 years, I gave away my 12 string echo to a friend who has a band called eagleyes they play tribute to the eagles if closed your and listen to them you would swear it was the eagles they are that good they also play a lot of other stuff to. The eagles actually gave them compliments anyway he gave me back my guitar cause I wanted to start playing again and after watching you that gave me more inspiration to try again. I watched some of your other stuff as well thank you for that.

    This song reminds me very much of Etta James's version of I'd Rather Go Blind, haunting and soulful. Thank you for the lesson.

    • @allenmyles5801
      @allenmyles5801 2 роки тому +3

      That’s because it’s the same song that they ripped off Etta James with countrified whiskey lyrics. 3 chords basically. No credit given, but a band that I’m friends with does a mashup of the 2 songs while performing.

I got to say this is the most beautiful version/technique that I have seen so far, I only wish that I was able to loop each section so that I wouldn't have pause and go back constantly, I am watching from an iPad that is all I have.

    I think I have to buy a electric guitar aswell. I play with an acoustic electric guitar and noticed that the slides are quite difficult to do on my guitar. It doesn't hold the tone just long enough . I have to say, the way you take the time to explain the process, is key. I learn so much from you that you stand in first line of the top 3, guitar teachers online. Thank you so much for that.

      @@AngelaPetrilliMusic On some other videos of yours, you have asked if viewers could indicate where we're from. I'm from the north shore of Lake Superior in Ontario Canada. I've been playing for 30 plus years now. Stopped giging nearly ten years ago now. Other priorities got in the way. Just play for my own entertainment now. Maybe sometime in the future perhaps, but just too much going on now. Spend a lot of time in the bush. Its quiet there with all the wildlife. At night the stars take your breath away!! Anyway, thank you for responding. Cheers, Angela! All the best to you and your family.
