Well the PC version has some serious performance issues actually, it's quite polished on consoles

Developers put a lot of love into this game and it shows in the details especially the small ones.
ok then where are all the families from HP movies ( their granparents or relatives for example , except for gaunt), why no quiddich( if they didnt want to break lore isnt canceling also breaking it), why are dialogues so boring and repetitive and why are we dark wizards if use 3 curses but not dark wizards if we kill enemies still with other magic spells or plants?
except the shit optimizations. getting insane fps drops on ps5 and pc, my 3060ti can even keep up with 60 fps
That’s what happens when small studios make AAA games. They give each game lots of love and attention.

I don't remember the exact quote, but Malcom Young (I think it was) once said of AC/DC that the individual members never had much talent but when you put them all together something special happens and they become larger than the sum of their parts. That's the way I feel about this game. There's nothing that really pushes boundaries, no revolutionary graphics or crazy deep AI for NPCs or industry first RPG or combat mechanics, but everything together makes for an absolutely fantastic experience. It all works together perfectly.

Exactly! This is how a game should be released… finished. No massive release day updates and in game store. I have yet to hit any real bugs in over 10 hours of play. And it’s so massive and with so much to do and explore. They really hit it out of the park with this one imo
Edit- I would add that the flight controls are not very intuitive and take some time getting used to for sure!

So far my seem with no bugs either(ps5) but i hate how nonreactive npcs in the world are. Thats immersion breaking af

You can hold Protego into Stupefy-counter to break any color shields also. Not to mention that with the upgraded Protego a perfectly-timed block breaks shields in a radius around you and the upgraded Stupefy does damage
This is one of the best games I've played in a while

Also the animation of ai is terrible they rushed this game and barely anyone is mentioning this. The views on any hogwarts legacy video has dropped for a reason

And how the fuck is this money grab? World "empty"? Gotta love the contradiction with this one too. If anything this video just keeps on showing how much this game offers. I have over 50hrs in it and I'm not even done 40% of the story. There's just so much you can do. Most games I pay 70 bucks for don't even offer half of this shit. Like wtf are you even smoking?
Also this game is an absolutely MASSIVE in success. Raving sales and reviews across the board. Try harder.
@@ShArp_MK first off your grammar is horrendous 😆, how old are you? And where did i contradict myself? I said the exploration of hogwarts was great but that only carries the game so far. If you check every youtube video on hogwarts legacy thats uploaded, you will find the views are no longer as high as they were in the first few days. Also the combat was good for the first few hours but ive played much better games with better fighting potential. I would rather play star wars the force unleashed again than play legacy again. All the choices feel pointless. Gamers will diss games like assassins creed odyssey where your choices actually matter but hogwarts legacys is an amazing game just because you love harry potter? Get over yourself! Also when npc's are concerned they have no effect on the world around the player, as you said this game is no rdr2 and could never compare. Mass effect 1, 2 and 3 beat this game, star wars the old republic 1 and 2 beats this game hands down and look how old they are. Ive been on a games development course and this game story would be classed as mediocre at best 😂

For anyone that read the books this game really brings it to life in a way the movies couldn’t. Hands down the greatest Harry Potter experience since the books imo

@@anthonym840 rdr2 was a masterpiece this is no where near that level. 😆 if i was 10 i might not have got bored 3 hours in and enjoyed hogwarts legacy but story is lacking and i cant be bothered traveling around a map doing the same things over again no wonder the developers classed the game as unique instead of an rpg. The developers needed another 5 years working on this. You can see they rushed this game. The npcs are pointless and the end game is worse. Spending all that pointless time just to get avada kadavra. And what happened to finch was rushed as well. Over all this game is disappointing. If your choices dont matter in a game where your supposed to be able to play how you want to play then the game is just linear. You cant even duel other students when you have finished the clock tower duels which i finished before reaching level 12 😂

I've never been able to get into games like Skyrim, Elden Ring etc. but I got this because I like the Harry Potter movies, and this game is amazing in every way.

I'd say it's a bit different from those. Those were heavy focused on exploration; this is more a life simulator with open world elements.

Funny. When you leave your main room and head out onto beach, with the music that was playing, it reminded me of the kids returning to Narnia, not something from the Harry Potter franchise.

Hogwarts Legacy is such a breath of fresh air. The best part to me is being able to reread the books and accurately picture the castle in your head imo

@Michael Hawk Could be people that are not playing many games or they didn't acquire many new games at the same time . If you have multiple options, you don't play the same single player game over and over again. You just play something else.

I love the “IM A WIZARD” while in battle
I'm only like 15 hours into the game and I'm already stuck in. There's so much immersion and little nods for fans. Beyond that, it's well polished and just plays so well.

That spider mission was one of the hardest, if not the hardest for me to beat. No idea why. But I had to fight that monster like 9 timsz
I grew up on Harry Potter and rewatch the movies every year. I just enjoy roaming around Hogwarts lol everything else is extra. This game brings me sooo much nostalgia and feels I love it
Jack, my man you need to learn spell counters to bosses. Use Descendo on the spider when he sticks his butt in the air and it chunks his health and stuns him. Every enemy in the game has a specific spell counter to use when they do an attack that will either one shot them or chunk their hp and stun. When a spider tries to burrow next time cast levioso. It will literally rip the spider in half and kill it. Good hunting, and great videos!
I like that as you explore or solve puzzles, the main character doesn't constantly talk or give hints like in other games. cough Aloy cough

Loving this game so much! All we need now is a Quidditch DLC and my life is set. I grew up with the books and later the movies, the HP universe has been a huge part of my life, this game is amazing and just what we needed!
Quidditch and a Tri wizard tournament dlc would be epic.
Sadly we won’t be getting dlc any time soon
If ur on pc we don’t have to worry tho we got mods and seeing how they are already with multiplayer we won’t even need devs

this game is very good, good gameplay and a relaxing story to follow, it's nothing like red dead but it fulfills its function which is to ENJOY you. I liked it a lot
I've never seen something so theatrically powerful so when you raise the rod into the sky and you pull lightning from the clouds and kill an an opponent with it. I rewound it 6 times to watch again. Also that wolves turn into a silhouette of a human.
Halfway through it occurred to me that the mask and cloak your character is wearing is giving off a ton of "Ghost" vibes lol. Needless to say, I love it lol

After finishing the God Of War Ragnarok, I got upset cause there’s really no other good game to play but then this came out! I downloaded it without any hesitation. Absolutely amazing no regrets at all! This game is another masterpiece after GOWR! Truly 2023 is a good year for gaming!
I havent looked into Hogwarts Legacy at all since I'm not really into Harry Potter but since I watched this it looks genuinely pretty darn good.
So I'm on vacation in Hong kong, where I went into an electronics store and on one of their screen to show their laptops for sale, this video was playing!

Whats ur Settings and setup? I have 3080ti and i9 (3440*1440p) but cant play with ultra and raytracing. I have schutters sometimes!
I’m 3080ti Ryazan 7 5800x 64gb ddr4 ram. I play 3880x1600 ultra wide with ultra settings and full fov slider. No Raytracing because it’s broken. I get 65-90 fps zero frame drops after setting triple buffer on NVIDIA settings.
Dont use raytracing, its a gimmick and 3000 series are mowhere near capable of running raytracing properly

I absolutely loved watching the stream bud.
This game has been a frustrating joy to play. I’ve been playing on hard so the combat has been troublesome at times but I’ve enjoyed almost every aspect of the game so far. Would be fun to have a co-op or something, even just dueling or side games to play against other players. But unless they can come up with a system that pause or slow the game when swapping spells and potions or using certain magic I don’t see that happening anytime soon. I am content with what the developers have created.
I was very skeptical of this game, especially considering the studio behind it, had never attempted anything near this big or ambitious. I've been shocked at the quality and quantity of content, along with an insane attention to detail. And I'm not even a Potter fan, so I have no sense of nostalgia that could lead to viewing this game through rose colored glasses. The castle alone is one of the most impressive areas I've ever seen in a game. This is going to be a banger of a year for games, so I'm not sure if it's goty when all is said and done, but as of now it's definitely on top.

I accidentally used the Evanesco spell on my Desk of Description and got rid of it and when I went to re-conjure it back into my room of requirement, it says I already have my 1/1 Desk of Descriptions available so I can't place a new one. I have a lot of gear to be discovered there that I can't do anything with now.
If here is anyone that know to fix that I'll appreciate the help.

Praying that a update comes along that lets people that finished the game fly around using unsupported flight like Severus snape or Voldemort. Or even a unique one based on ancient magic would be incredibly satisfying and helpful to keep the game alive for players who finished the game.
Mods are already a thing, no point in doing an update that has litrtally 0 to do with the game.. Why completely destroy the story by putting snape or voldemort ( who arnt born for another 100 years) into the game.. Please use your thinking walnut before you speak 👍
@@TheCrypt1c you should try that yourself, sir :) If you could think (or read before you speak you can see that I’m talking about the ability for unsupported flight AFTER you’ve finished the game. Not once did I mention anything about putting Voldemort or Snape into the game. There are far more players on console compared to the 400k currently playing on steam. Which means over half of players don’t have the same access to mods, and many (even on pc) wouldn’t even consider modding the game.

I wouldn't know. Game crashes at launch for me. I've done all the things, and my computer far exceeds the requirements needed to play. Still it crashes after you load the game from the menu. It's not the shaders, it's not raytracing or the graphics driver- it's just that bugged out. The only thing I haven't tried yet is re-installing, which it is currently in the process of doing. Hopefully that works or else I'll have no choice but to get the refund.
They should give us the option to free Deek.

This game is in fact a incredible feat. I think it has surprised most of the gaming community for numerous reasons. My only gripe with the game is the invisible walls in places you otherwise think wouldn't be a problem to go to. Outside of that the experience is amazing

It’s very much a masterpiece, my ONLY gripe is it’s wayyyy too easy, probably the easiest video game I’ve ever played…once you learn a good amount of spells you’re already OP, then add in the killing curse and you will never die in this game. I haven’t died once in my entire play through

I'm not a Harry Potter fan at all, my wife wanted it so we bought it. I played it and it's amazing. I don't know what some of the words people say mean but the work that went into every detail is insane.

Maybe im the only one, but this game reminds me of the Fable series. The World seems dark and beautiful at the same time and the Characters are much too cheerful for a world like this. Also the way everybody's talking, the way it sounds. Very similar to Fable imo.

Once you master the art of dodging you are pretty much unstoppable at this game. Then later on you get the dash which adds onto your evasiveness. I always wanted to fight the way they did in the movies so this game adding that was the best thing ever
I remember the first time I did the dark arts trial I just ran through them non stop. Also key is to use imperio on the troll 😁
