      I listen to music, with the frequency for tinnitus relief, on UA-cam. The videos play for hours, I have my left ear on my pillow and my crazy loud, right ear listening to the music. I find if you really focus on hearing every note, this helps to fall asleep and mostly remain asleep. 😊

    Thank you for this video and possibility of build up of bone on the small bones in my ears . I have e.n.t. appt. Coming in about 3 weeks. Good question for the doctor and what test or x,ray is available to rule this out. I do have long history of bone growing in muscle after knee replacement surgery. I had right knee replaced 3 times in 23 years and my body does scar down i had grown bone above knee cap that looked like a shark finn. i have boone growing in my muscles now but slower since I'm older. I do have hearing loss and hearing aides help me separate the tinnitus so i can understand words and music.

    I have been diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma and have crazy loud tinnitus. On occasion, I can actually hear a noise I describe as two bones knocking together, making a pinging sound... After watching this, I'm going to go back to my ENT hospital for further investigation, thank you 😊

    • @user-el9pv8ig1r
      @user-el9pv8ig1r 6 місяців тому +1

      Saying pining sound sure hits home with me my right ear will make a sound that I describe as some one with tin cup hitting a metal pipe in a submarine. I have constantly tinnitus in both ears. During episodes of higher sound tinnitus my right ear is where the sound seems to be going on. Now that I'm in my late 60,s I have more episode's of highten tinnitus and I fill I'm not many octaves away from going insane if the louder volume ever became permanent..I see a new e.n.t in about 3 weeks. Never had a CT, or mri of my head. Had epley maneuver with relief for vertigo several times in last 11 years. Never got a true diagnosis so that is part of reason I am going to new e,n,t. Good luck and God bless with your journey.

    If you know in advance you’re going to be exposed to loud music or noise, you can prepare by wearing musicians earplugs(filters out 12-25 db). It’s the sudden surprise loud noises like standing just a few feet away from a car alarm that gets triggered inside a parking garage that makes me crazy and worsens tinnitus! Living in a busy city, ambulances and fire trucks sirens are also a constant drive by threat while walking on the street. People working in our military are constantly subject to very loud noise exposure as are construction workers.
    It’s just a noisy modern world and our ears aren’t equipped to deal with the onslaught. I’ve lived with persistent tinnitus for almost 20 years now and it seems like there is always some new approach for relief but a cure is always over the rainbow. Until we can have complete bionic ear replacements available for tinnitus sufferers like a hip replacement, I just don’t see a universal cure that works for everyone. Thank you for your excellent videos!

    Been watching your videos for a while. One question. You explain what seems to be 100 causes of tinnitus. Are all of these causes supported by researchers or are these just theories? 100 different causes for tinnitus seems a little bizarre. Seems like just something so you have new content. No offence. I have found a couple of your videos very helpful though so I’ll focus on them and other information I’ve found. Thanks Doc!

    there's surgery for this? My tinnitus could be from a car accident - I had significant vertigo and the crystals were dislodged, requiring physical therapy. If surgery is an option, how do they diagnose for it? How would they find out if those bones are damaged? I have a significant amount of physical pain with my tinnitus, so it must be something physically wrong, but ENTs just send me home with instructions to meditate or other wonky stuff that never works. What specifically should I ask for? An xray?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  6 місяців тому

      Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is the vertigo associated when the crystals are dislodged in the ear. This does not have any impact on tinnitus. Though, if your tinnitus is a result of a car accident, we would recommend following up with a neurologist or physical therapist to see if there are ways to manage the pain or injuries associated with the accident.

    That was a very informative presentation on those tiny ear bones. I wasn't aware that they could eventually malfunction from a build up of calcium. If that is the case I would have one dietary or supplement recommendation to deal with the build up of calcium that can cause issues with the correct functioning of those bones. Many people are deficient in vitamin K2. K2 can be found in foods like grass fed butter. K2 helps to properly mobilise calcium in the body. When we are deficient in K2 this can cause a build up of calcium in the wrong areas in our bodies. Ensuring that one has sufficient K2 in their diet may play a role in stopping the build up of calcium on those minuscule bones.

    I love ears. I wish my right ear could hear and I didn't have constant tinnitus. Been to three different ENTs, and a neurologist, and not one has helped me at all. It sucks not being able to hear with that ear, but I thank God the tinnitus doesn't prevent me from sleeping.

      What was your cause for ur unfortunate problem?
      I have hissing whooshing beeping tones 4 over a year now. Cause a SINUS INFECTION in nose. Blew nose hard and ears popped. Infection cleared with antibiotics from hospital. Now this emotional stress of noise. Still on ENT waiting list , no response from hospital 👎🏾. MASKING music dont work effectively with headphones.
      No hope 4 us 😡

    How do you clean the ear?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  6 місяців тому

      You don’t need to use any tools to keep your ears clean (that includes cotton swabs) and a good rule of thumb is to never use anything smaller than your elbow to clean your ears. If you like, you can use a tissue or a wash cloth to wipe on the outside of your ear canal. You can use ear drops, like Debrox, to soften the wax in order to help remove it. A few drops of olive or baby oil are safe to use as well. When there is a large amount of wax or when the wax is impacted deep in the ear canal, professional earwax removal may be needed. You can have your wax removed by a primary care doctor, an ear nose and throat ENT physician, or an audiologist.
