I’m hoping we see more structured battles going forward. A lot of Miguel Sapochniks battle strategies were just messy and I’m actually glad he’s gone. He usually just got the two opposing sides to run against each other and turn into one giant ball of chaos.
Yeah, from what I've read Sapochnik was also in favor of the faster pacing in Season 1 that largely moved us from one big event to another. And that was my issue with the first season. I feel better now having Taylor directing episodes over Miguel, and Condal as the sole showrunner.
So I guess someone never watched Harrenhall & Battle of the Bastards...
I just can't wait for season 2! It's already been a year since season 1. I hope it comes out in January or February.
I want to see Vhagar go rogue again too.

Of what I know, Cannibal might be the biggest Dragon in the world at that point. As Dragon's grow much bigger when they are free, and Cannibal always being outside and eating, it might have made him bigger than Vhagar.

We did get a distant glimpse of Sunfyre when everyone was arriving at Driftmark for Laena's funeral. But it didn't offer us much. Here's the shot:

hoping to see a proper fight, one like rhaegal x viserion and drogon. not one quick shot of vhagar just falling with meleys and sunfyre
I think we will because it's a big moment for three core characters on the show. If it just ended in a flash people would not be happy. The Storm's End scene in the finale I think set the precedent for what we'll see going forward. And while that wasn't really a fight, it was a lengthy suspenseful scene.
The cannibal is not the biggest dragon in the series however he is the biggest of the wild dragons remember vhagar was smaller but older than meraxes it depends on the dragon because vermithor is big for his size and age
I'm fascinated with how they're going to depict The Cannibal since there is so much mystery around him in Fire and Blood.

We're looking at August 2024, which would be exactly 2 years from the Season 1 premiere. With filming finishing I think there's a chance they could get the post-production done a bit sooner, but around then is a safe bet.
4:22 isn’t Jack Cunningham going to be playing Daeron or is that just a rumour ??
It's a rumor, but nothing has been confirmed. I'm surprised they haven't announced the Cregan and Daeron actors at this point. We knew about the Alys Rivers casting back in April.

@@Mani19x Ummm vaguely there's a person at the end of the Dance that's presumed dead. We also know Cannibal wasn't seen after the war, so he rescues that person.
