One of my friends Brett got me into Metric and I loved them since, and this is my all time favorite stage recording of them live. Emily is stunning, she gives all her members in the band the spotlight too and they each give it everything they have, and you can tell they care about each other... I love it!

@@martinguevara2749 Actually, it's Superman: The Movie. Eternal Sunshine's not bad, but I was never inclined to call it one of my favorites. It was cool to see Jim Carrey play a more dramatic role, though.
@@iridescence4897 Technically it was written prior to the movie, but I guess at the time I wrote that comment I either didn't know or ignored that fact so that I didn't have to explain it. It's eerie how well the lyrics work for the film, though.

I saw them back in 2006 in a small venue in Edmonton, Alberta,(Starlite Lounge). Probably, if not one of the best live bands I've ever seen.

It's so wild how a band can hit a nerve, and just land a GREAT song like this.
This band has a few songs like that, though they’re way more popular in their home country so I might be a bit over exposed to them. All their popular songs are generally popular for a reason, they’re insanely catchy in a very alternative way. She’s also just a phenomenal singer so that helps .
This song is so freaking good! The arrangement, the lyrics, performance, drums, vocals. Everything. It just kicks all kinds of ass!
