My god, how much time I spent on this particular table. Arguably one of the best pinball simulators ever. I think my best score was somewhere aroud 240 million.
It felt like I was playing it again. Thanks. Even in the Grim Reaper section the ball stubbornly refused to enter anywhere, exactly like I was playing it back in the days!
Thanks for sharing. :) Too bad you didn't get that Double-Bonus (and Hold Bonus after that) at 18:33. And I wouldn't have taken the last letter to R.I.P. when the Kick Back was already activated. But it was very exciting to watch! My hands were sweating just like I would've been playing myself. ^^
Something about this game LOL. He doesn't manage to hit the tower for 6 minutes and then when it's Tower Hunt he somehow manages twice in 30 seconds, followed by immediately losing the bal...
I started study pascal and assembly on my (486) computer because games like this one. How is possible a 486 scroll a screen like this even today is a mistery for me.
It's not too hard and relies on video card features, not CPU. This game used one of VGA "Mode X"s, i believe 320x400, and in modes like this the scrolling achieved just by specifying an offset of the screen "window" relating to a longer (taller) virtual screen. It takes almost zero of processor time. Same for me, hehe. Beside assembler in junction with Borland Pascal and C/C++ I spent a lot of time torturing graphics, especially Mode X, salut to Michael Abrash and his articles in different magazines. Those were several years of VGA era before hi-res and -color modes became new standards. Thus, many games used Mode X to expand usual VGA borders. I didn't make games but wrote dozens of demos and different utilities. Particularly, for this and other "X" games i published several TSR (terminate-and-stay-resident) screenshot makers to save this weird-organised graphic data as usual files under DOS. No emulation enviroments were available and if you wanted something, you often forced to do it with your own hands. Really golden times.
It's so annoying when you hit the ramps when you should hit the targets for the millions and viceversa. Like there's a mechanism on any pinball game making it difficult haha
I never got on with this table. Too many of the high scoring elements of the game were timed, I am the type of player who controls the ball before taking my next shot and often that meant the modes ended before I could shoot them
The music is the BEST
Burned a lot of hours on this back in the day. Nice to see it again :)

You ignited Grim Reaper. This is my favorite gameplay video now.

Great reaction. I used to play 'smarter' a little bit but i would lose many balls you catch in this video.
Thanks for sharing. :)

Why you would not lit the last letter in RIP when kickback is activated? Thx for your answer.
@@pcernuska you gain no bonus when you activate it again and when held two letters lit it is easier to activate Kick Back after using it.
@@makeintoschu Same applies to KEY. Better to keep two letters lit and not completing it when the tower is already open.
Años buscando este juego que nostalgia
The best times of my teens
Yes! Completely agree! Best music for high score! GREAT!!!!!
Ditto I lived the music to this one and around the world millions with space bar

Pinball games can be really logic-free at times...

Amazing skills!

My dad used to spend hours playing this. I never like it because I wasn't ever any good at pinball games. But my dad owned at this.
Nice score :)
Con DosBox se puede jugar si tenemos Windows.
Thank you!
You are good. Nice fingers. Black belt stuff.

Wtfffffffffffffff
Spacebar = bump on the table... sometimes you can hit bump in the right time to change the ball direction.
