The Atari Jaguar has the best version of this game, it's routinely overlooked in favor of the crappy games just so people can find a reason to hate on the Jaguar some more. I have all of the high scores on all 4 tables and the Jaguar version saves the scores. I remember the night I absolutely destroyed the Stones and Bones table. A friend of mine witnessed it, I had over 150 screams, I was in the tower more than 20 times and I had a score of over 500,000,000. I feel like hooking my Jaguar back up just to play this game because the Jaguar version is superior to the SNES version.
I just started playing it via BIGPEMU emulation. I was never a huge fan of this game only played the snes ver... right away the Jaguar is a mile better. The physics, speed, and weight of the ball are so spot on it actually feels like a pinball sim. Not to mention the music and sound quality is better too. After playing Jag ver this is now one of my pinball favs. I also tried Ruiner Pinball for the Jaguar and don't care for it much. But Pinball Fantasies is pure quality
Spent so many hours playing this on the Amiga... this version looks and sounds horrid in comparison. The music is so out of tune and mournful sounding. And why redraw the graphics? I thought the SNES would've been easily capable of doing a straight conversion. It's not even a resolution issue, as they put horizontal scrolling in this to accommodate.
@@ruipinhal3385 No, no it isn't. It's not even the best PC of it's era, absolutely destroyed by the Japanese made Sharp X68000. The FM Towns also put the Amiga to shame.
@@Bloodreign1 the cheapest X68000 was five time more expensive than the Amiga 500. That's absolutely absurd to compare both machine without taking that in account (and the X68000 wasn't officially available in western countries anyway)
@@Bloodreign1 The only reason why such machines seem superior to you is because japanese know them and as a result of this arcade conversions were not carried out by little bast***ds like Tiertex or Creative Materials.
The Super Nintendo version of PINBALL FANTASIES looks great, but the Amiga version of this game is much better 😺👍🕹️. I still have that and PINBALL DREAMS on my original Amiga 500 computer 😺👍🕹️.
I dunno, I used to emulate a lot of Amiga games years back, maybe 1 or 2 might've impressed me, both Taito games ported to the thing. Everything else seemed like a muddled mess, too much Europlatforming mess, and the few games that were Japanese made originally were ported so poorly to the thing. I hate to say it, but the Amiga is heavily overrated.
I have this on PS3 Minis also. Plays beautifully, just like the Amiga version I think, but it has this annoying habit of sometimes freezing up on me when I've got 100 million on Party Land. Shit makes me wanna cut a bitch. >.
I played this on the Amiga and also on the Super NES. One piece of advise. The Super NES version is horrible in each and every aspect. The graphics are bad, the music is bad and worst of all, the game play is just sad. On the Amiga you could sort of calculate speed and bounce of the ball which made it a great game. On the Super NES the ball just hops around and is way to fast. You literally have to move the pin before the ball hits which is super annoying and kills all the fun. I feel cheated after having put this game into my Super NES. Even Tetris on the Super NES is better than this.
Thanks for taking the time to show awesome music 🎶
The Amiga version of this rocks.
Yep and so does the pc one :D
And so does the Jaguar one.
And so does the SNES one.

Was that big score on the hard or easy setting? The default hard is fast!

Hmm..weird, I thought this port was pretty spot on. Except for the graphics.
How you dare to compare the amiga with that piece of cheat of the nes,the amiga is the number 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You've got to love the fact the music completely drops out of 'Stones N Bones' at one point and at the end, the music gets stuck in a loop. LOL.
20:07 what you got from puking?
I like the Baseball Pinball Machine.
song that plays at 27:37 ?

Compare Psycho Pinball with Pinball Fantasies.

This screams 1993
Yikes. What happened to this game? Why did they make such inferior remakes of the artwork and music assets and package it into this pile of crap?

I was just playing the Amiga version. It totally rocks.
Yea this one is def meant for Jaguar and Amiga . That's the word on the street anyway
Only thing more crap than the game is the gameplay!
