Stones & Bones was the most awesome pinball game I ever played, I was completely addicted to it for a few months, then had a crazy highscore out of the blue after a long afternoon of non-stop play and didn't touch it again and decided to use my time a bit more useful;-)
awesome! i had this game as part of the "desktop dynamite" bundle, which also had syndicate, chaos engine, oscar and dennis. unfortunately i never owned any of the other pinball games. it remains one of the best i've played. party land ftw
Q and A session: 12:30 - The Jackpot light isn't visible? 16:32 - I don't think I remember that award. 20:17 - You had two extra balls - the one from the start and the one in the outlane. 20:25 - Do you know that if you start Happy Hour by skill shot, the timer refuses to start and you can play infinitely (at least until the jackpot is taken)? 25:01 - If you can death save, surely it's not hard to nudge the ball back up the PIT lanes (and PUKE, for that matter). You're excellent.
I don't ever remember seeing this on Amiga, I had the version where it was four disks - Disk One was Party Land, Disk Two was Speed Demons, Disk Three was Billion Dollar Gameshow and Disk Four was Stones 'n' Bones.
Stones & bones was my favorit, my best games i played for 1 and half hour straight on the same game, got to max points twize and back to zero points in the same game.
I think, this is my first game, I have ever played.... I think I was 4 back then. Now I'm 19.. 15 years ago, oh man. I'm old :( And Stones 'n' Bones, f#ck yeah :D
(Part 3): 41:15: The places aren't supposed to unlight until Turbo Mode. 42:50: My Turbo Mode starts right away with a deep "TURBO MODE" voice. This is fun to watch...I might watch the other two tables for oddities and differences like these.
The fact that the gameplay in this video is tool-assisted means that the player used savestates on the emulator to prevent him from losing the ball too often and cut that footage out of the video.
Since some have mentioned that the company behind this game is now DICE and making Battlefield games, I wouldn't be surprised if Electronic Arts's Extreme Pinball borrowed a few elements from this game and the one before it (since EA also worked on the Battlefield games)
One more question: 1:12:41 - The Lock light doesn't flash when I go for the Billion: you'd have to figure out for yourself that since the Lock hasn't been used yet, it's got to work now.
@stephen22564 No worries. I need to get my Xbox back online, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know. I'm not too good, but it's all good fun as you say. ;-)
@cubex55 have you tried checking out all the different tables on all the different games? you can rule out pinball dreams and pinball illusions and pinball fantasis i think. however pinball magic is one you may remember, i remember the name but not the game. and true pinball that i owned on the psx. i remember the viking table but thats about it. check those out!
Hey cubex55. Do you remember/know of a old Pinball game (newer that this tho) that involved the zodiac signs to get jackpot and I think it involved exclabiur.. im not sure...
24:48: Aren't the high scores supposed to be pre-set scores instead of an empty list? 26:31: This will happen a lot. Balls that miss the right ramp will often hit the N in NIN', so cycle the light. 28:53: My version counted PIT lanes for Off-Road. 29:42: Epic Win. That is a smart idea. 31:26: All the multiplier lights disappear when complete? 32:46: Why no Overtake? The 1M award shows it was within time. 39:58: The Hold Bonus should light in sixth gear: it doesn't happen here.
Nice game. I managed to get 60 million (I think it was) on tower hunt once. That game I got 260 million in total score. I think that is a decent score?
I did beat my brother and all his friends in pinball:) They were furious how a little girl with amiga 500 could beat them in pinball:) Certainly not bad played for a boy/man:)
Table rank: 1. Stones and bones (sound fx and music are awesome). 2. Party Land I didnt like the other two :/ Overall for me its still 5/5 for the game cause of Stones and bones :)
did he use any cheats besides tilt ? I've never been able to use tilt to save the ball like he does in the pc dos version. also i have the iOS version and i could never tilt like that either
+misterkrad I guess you are referring to use tilt to jump the ball back up from the drain? I've managed to do it a couple of times on F4 table on PC version. If I remember correct it was only possible to do on F1 and F4.
I rember playing this till you get about 290million serious brain mashing. Every now and again you could flip the ball out of the gutter if it was going fast enough. Say it was going down the left gutter hold your left flipper up and nudge the table and catch it with the end of your right flipper.,very hard to do.
@tier88 my is 2 billion^^ I can give you screenshot if you want ^^ How I got it? I got it with several hold bonus and multiplier. I mean I get Hold Bonus. Then I get grim reaper bonus for example. Then next ball you get again Hold Bonus and some multipliers. So you get again the grim reaper and this multiplied with the multiplier :D and this can be gone further and further as you collect in every ball hold and multiplier bonus ^^
Pure classic. The smooth and fast scrolling was something else back in the day. And the great ball physics.
One of the best pinball game ever, the music is astonishing. The developers become really rich and famous few years later...
They went on to make the Battlefield series. :)
yep..unfortunately :\
This videogame developed in Sweden 🇸🇪 ??

I still have this and PINBALL DREAMS,
both games on my original Amiga 500 computer 😺👍.
Perhaps, i should play them again this year 😺👍🕹️.

superb music tune and sfx. loved that table.
I remember playing with my dad on the Amiga 1200. I haven't heard these melodies for so many years
This is great. I used to love playing this gama back in the days. I miss it. The music still makes a chill go down my spine❤
Reminds of the old days... although I played it on a PC. I had this game for DOS on my 286 machine back in 1994.
The intro music to this is still one of a kind wow i loved this game when i was younger!
That's the best pinball simulator I played back that day
Thumbs up if you love the old Pinball games!
hell yeah i remember this game used to play it for hours, this and street rod were my favourites
Oh man, it was one of my most favourite Amiga games.
best pinball and beautiful music
Oh my god I've not watched this game nor heard this music for 20 years.
13 years already wow ... Still in memory
Another Amiga Fan like me!!!! Still playing this game too... Brings me back to many hours of joy playing it on my A500! Good playing and nice video.
One of my favourite Amiga games from my A1200 days.. I spent so many hours on this in the 90's when I should have been working on my degree :D
I still love the Amiga
Good ol' times..:) Brings back memorys. Thanks to this vid, I've decided to play it on amiga emulator. Not the same, but...still, nostalgia.
15:39 That's the best tilt I've ever seen someone pull off.
Sometimes you get lucky and you pull that off. I did it too yesterday on the same table (and recorded it). I'll share the video soon!

thank you!
Loved this game and party land was the best table to play on.
Beyond crazy scores!!!! The Billion Dollar Gameshow was legendary!!
Love it! Lost too many days and hours to this and dreams back in the day!
I think I spent the equivalent of one high school year playing Pinball Dreams / Illusions / Fantasies !! No school credit though :/
This brings back sweet memories =) Thanks for posting!
Good memories back in the day :) I guess I should dig out my father's Amiga. Thanks, man! :D
so good memories on the table 1 and the 4 with my father
oh! I felt his pain at 49:41 he just wasn`t meant to go off road! Brilliant Longplay video thanks for uploading this.

Seems like I must unpack my amiga 500 and play this game again:)
Use to play these with my friend in the nineties. Great game. "Winners do not use drugs"

NOW... This is the real synth
Well played, will have to play pinball fantasies at some point
The intro music, jesus christ, feeling like a kid again
I think, this is my first game, I have ever played.... I think I was 4 back then. Now I'm 19..
15 years ago, oh man. I'm old :(

It took me over 30 years to notice there was a truck below the upper flipper in Speed Devils. LOL

near 300 mil on first ball??? dude that was seriously impressive. Respect.
Fantasies & Dreams
16:32 he was eligible for a new multiplier, but already got them all (same thing at 38:40)

Hmmm!!! There's some serious cheating going on here me thinks!!! Naughty, naughty...!!! Very, naughty...!!! Mwahahaha!!!
wish that they would remake this and then show the whole pinball table at the same time
This and the 3d ultra pinball series
I did beat my brother and all his friends in pinball:) They were furious how a little girl with amiga 500 could beat them in pinball:)
Epic Pinball or Silverball

01:31:52 EXTRA BALL!!!
Is sticks and bones were you get chased by the werewolf > or is that a different pinball game for the atari ???
Hey Cubex, how do you get the Extra Ball at the beginning of Speed Devils Table? Only in Amiga , but in DOSBox doesn't work annymore
DICE and battlefield started here with Digital Illusion :')
I want to remake this for Android, iOS with different tables as DLC
used to call me LSA at highscore:)
How's it possible that you get tht Highscore extra ball on the start?
I wish somebody make Pinaball Fantasies and Pinball Dreams on Pro Pinball engine. That would be great.
Haha, "YOU WIN A 72 INCH TV".....like OMG?! Today there are 80" tv for 10 000 SEK in Sweden =D
hey guy, you are extremely goood!

Nice game. I managed to get 60 million (I think it was) on tower hunt once.
That game I got 260 million in total score. I think that is a decent score?
Do you like the pinball fx for the xbox360?
Digital Illusions CE (DICE) later made the Battlefield series - a great series, until Electronic Arts (EA) took over DICE.
I did beat my brother and all his friends in pinball:) They were furious how a little girl with amiga 500 could beat them in pinball:)
Certainly not bad played for a boy/man:)
Table rank:
1. Stones and bones (sound fx and music are awesome).

It's allmost like Psycho pinball.
Dalej gram w niego na PSP jest na jednej ze składanek :]
Is this tool-assisted?

If I remember correct it was only possible to do on F1 and F4.
+misterkrad Requires much effort and practice. I didn't play this game since I was 9 IIRC, and just now I learnt how to do this X_X
what is tool assist?
DICE before they were DICE.
I rember playing this till you get about 290million serious brain mashing.

Didn't these games had a short intro before the game starts? I remember a laughing clown showed up before the game has started
That was psycho pinball
myloch Omg thank you man :)
I did manage to get a couple billion points a few times.
+castirondude wow! and I thought my record of 260M was pretty good.
Bark hehe. I don't know what got into me. That game lasted more than an hour.
my highscore is 393 Million ( table 4 )
The player are very good.
Why use tool to assist
Death save @ 1:26:28
@tier88 my is 2 billion^^ I can give you screenshot if you want ^^

Who the fuck would sit and watch this for 2 hours?
