I have seen Gentle Giant decades ago in Düsseldorf and other german cities. From my point of view it was the best prog rock band ever! It would be great if Three Friends come over to Germany again to bring me back applauding in the first row! 😊
It's not often a cover band gives me chills...I love cogs in cogs and the live version on the GG sight and sound concert...These guys did them proud...Great job with a very intense band...It takes BALLS to put it out there like this! Thanks so much...
(modell) bahnen europa TV Step back; take some time, form your thoughts. Once you've done that, write them coherently so that anyone may understand. Placing your words in sentence form is a big help too!
+godbluffvdgg I think what was meant is that since 3F consists of Gary Green and Malcolm Mortimore from Gentle Giant one could argue that this is not "just a cover band"... ;)
I was so blessed to see you guys at BB Kings, June 2010, in New York City. It was the day after my high school graduation, and being able to see you guys was the best present I could have asked for. Now that I've graduated college, I hope to see you again soon!
Wow ! I was listening to a playlist from UA-cam, wasn't looking at the video and was totally convinced that I was listening to Gentle Giant live. And Hornel's voice sounds incredebly the same than Derek Shulman's one. Very well done guys !
I just saw an interview for the unboxing of Gentle Giant: Unburied Treasure and the guitarist really looks a lot like Gary Green, I was wondering if he joined you for this performance.
@Fingers1234567890 I read up on three friends and found out it was actually Gary. Glad he's keeping it going! I saw GG 5 times and would go see 3 friends should they play anywhere in Florida!!
I saw Gentle Giant in Basingstoke in 1973. Three friends are a brilliant clone. All amaxing. Loved then, loved now.
Why am I only finding this now?
I live very close to Mexico City. What a shame never knew Three friends came down and performed . !!! Anyway, thanks for posting
Nice job on Cogs, sounds good.
Thanks for listening

No one has come up with a good definition of what Prog is. The best answer when asked is "Gentle Giant".
Fantastic!
Beautiful...flawless cover

Jens Andree I did not know...Point well taken...But, no Shulman's no Giant...:)
"Nothing at all" is a song from Gentle Giant. So Fans know well what i mean. A "sentence" is not needed.

Saw GG countless times live at the Free Trade Hall, brilliant band and I like admire what you've done as I'm sure they would love what you've done.

He is in the band, also with Malcolm Mortimore (and Kerry Minnear too for a while).
Very Good!!!!
Blimey Iain, you get around! 😎
Very Cool indeed
Wonderful. Isn´t there an album coming any soon?

Gentle Giant Lite.
How often do you see a fanatic metalhead liking jazzrock? Says alot.
is Three Friends done ?
i thought the guitar player looked kinda familiar
Les falta moverse a los demas
Esa era la esencia y es la esencia de los grupos y mas por que están tocando con un grande que esta en la guitarra
Drummer loses tempo from time to time..
no Weathers, no groove.
