Fantastic work! So glad to see the next generation enjoying our music!
This team was led by a friend of mine, Andy Levenberg, music director of the Chicago _School of Rock._ His job is to come up with a program of music to challenge these talented young musicians.
I can't believe that young dudes even attempted this! Awesome.
Probably the person who came up with the idea of covering a GG song was a grown-up in his 50s or 60s, but I really hope these young guys took a liking to the band after this experience and got to listen to GG songs as a consequence; Gentle Giant deserves to be kept alive by the new generations!
You are indeed correct. The School of Rock teachers I've met have all been working musicians, with a deep and wide knowledge of classic rock. And they pass that along to these incredibly talented young musicians. Remember, every piece of music ever recorded is instantly available to young people these days, not like when you and I were kids, when we had to visit record stores and crawl through dusty crates. We had to buy things without hearing them, just based on covers, and not having any idea other than a few trustworthy record store employees. Or maybe we had a radio station with one cool DJ.
That's some demented dancing! But I applaud the effort of playing a fantastic song like this!
If you can play Cogs in Cogs you can play anything. Nicely done.
I have this complete show on my channel. The director of this team is a friend of mine, and he has amazing taste in music and would come up with a set to really challenge them.

The genius of GG plus the power of youth ... WOW
The audience: "Huh?" Me: "Oh my God! They're playing Cogs In Cogs!"
Absolutely agree with you!
That is quite amazing! How wonderful to see young musicians tackle something as challenging as Gentle Giant music, and pull it off so well. A triumph!
Fair plays that was excellent!
Wahnsinn! Super, toll gemacht, DANKE!
Great job guys!!! The singer with white shirt is absolutely amazing acting : rockstar !!!
This is so much more intricate and difficult than most of the heavy metal crap usually pedaled
It's actually not compared to alot of metal like technical death metal lol
This is incredibly impressive
This is an extremely hard tune, great job!! Love the metal attitude
Wow! Keeping GG alive! Great stuff!
Amazing job! Best cover I have heard of that song yet
Brave kids!
GREAT musicians. GO AHEAD!
GREAT job, Team 4!
Amazing. Love the energy you've put into this masterpiece
Muito bom
Yo this was fire
Great gentle giant cover 👌
Wow this is so cool! Outstanding work!
Maravilhoso, 🙏🙏❤❤
Dang, this is super impressive!
I don't know why the description says anything about Led Zeppelin. Apparently this was Team #3, not Team #4. The kids who actually performed it deserve to have their names posted. This is a cover of Cogs in Cogs (as the title says.) One of Gentle Giant's greatest songs from "The Power and the Glory" album. Great job! I wish I could hear the keyboards in the main sections. It's also funny at the end that the moms and dads in the audience have no idea what the hell they just heard or any idea of the incredible level of skill it just took for their own kids to pull that off!
I fixed it. Sorry about that, I literally shot one show every single day, uploading my favorite videos from each as I went, and I made occasional screw-ups.
@@MidWestConcertVideo2 no worries. Thanks for fixing it and thanks for the work you do!
good shit, wish the keyboardist was louder
in Chicago, I wonder if Gary Green was there?
Is that boy on the right a reincarnation of Ian Curtis? Hahaha
Thinks for that! It’s my favourite GG song and you did it proud. It’s a pity the mix was a bit unbalanced but I really enjoyed it.
