Does the magnatrack trigger change the real sound of the low volume cymbal? Does it act as vibration absorber or isn't there any sound impact?

Should be the same with any soft library... the brain hardware is handling the trigger response.. software is the sound and how many velocity layers.. I’ve used these with Steven slate, addictive drums, & logic drums. Addictive drums is my fav and go to

Well the Gen16s are a different product, and would depend on the application. Gen16s are not "electric drums" so to say, they are low volume with cymbal modeling - they have tiny little pickups (similar to an electric guitar) that feed to a Zildjian proprietary box that dials in modeling to make it sound (like) a real cymbal. Any results of this product I have heard are no good in my taste, but that doesnt mean its useless in the right application (where cymbal sound are not of true importance - they just need to exist and be controllable), for example a high school play auditorium or some smaller churches. An electronic drum trigger cymbal sends a midi command to make a Note which can have multiple velocity layers and be any cymbal, instrument, or even sound you want it to be! :) it could be a ride, 18" projection crash, orchestra hit, bass loop, or a car horn. There's just so many more options when going through a drum module and midi and quality as compared to current technology (of Zildjian) cymbal modeling techniques, but that does not mean they don't have a place in the right application. So its up to personal preference, and quite obvious what my particular pref is .. :)
QUESTION??? How did you purchase these triggers?? I’ve been trying to go to their WEBSITE! BUT their website DOES NOT GIVE YOU “”ANY”” options to choose “ANYTHING?” Nor purchase??

Good start! I saw another one from magnatrack, NOT using the top magnet, but instead using the Cymbolic Series MT-CSMA Trigger Mount. I'd like to see that one tested too if not too much asked :-) Ride and HiHat as well??

Hi there, are the triggers compatible with Yamaha DTX 700 drum module?
they should work with any module that can set custom sensitivity settings.
question: For some reason I cant find where to buy these Magnatrack Triggers. I cant find them on music store websites or where to buy on the Magnatrack website. Could someone help me out?

I picked it up at very young age, I was obsessed with the steelers and the logo since before I can remember. I knew how to play drums and was a Steelers fan before I started kindergarten or could read.. It was Probably being born during Terry Bradshaw days and ambient cheers for steelers from my parents friends and families instilled loyalty. :-P

The silence an response is deafening from Magnatrack, u cant leave
comments on his u tube page an he's blocked some facebook users. Nice to
know where we stand! It seems like the magna track backers have simply
vanished from facebook. There's no user group any more. It all seems to
have fizzled out, since NAMM 2017 . Even Emma's (Ex-Customer Service
Representative at Rare Earth Dynamics) is not on the scene any more. So
something has triggered this malaise. We were promised as backers, the
updated triggers would be sent out. Can't even contact Steve any more.

Bout a year ago I got my first Magnatracks as a Christmas gift from my sister . I haven’t personally ordered any thing since.
