I've read a fanfic where the diary with Tom Riddle survived and gained a body while the recent Voldemort also gained a body. The story is hilarious as both Voldemort tried to take control and it confused the Death Eaters. The recent Voldemort claimed to be in charge but Tom Riddle often intervene. The funniest thing is, Tom can say whatever he wants because Voldemort would not hurt him since they're the same person. The funniest part is when they each wanted the Elder Wand and it accidentally snapped into two XD (Seriously, one Voldy is enough. Two is chaotic)
@@ivymago2201 unfortunately, it's a long time ago. I forgot what it's called... I only remember the plot because it's hilarious. I will try to find it again for you if you want to and when I do, I'll share the link.
They could’ve just taken turns with the wand & it could be possible that it would “listen” to both of them as it’s master because they’re the same person but just different ages/versions and parts of his soul.
My assumption was that the younger version of Voldemort would have eventually tracked down and absorbed the old one hiding in Albania, along with all his skill and memories. The reason I believe the new one would supersede the old one is because the diary contained a much larger piece of Voldy's soul. Assuming each time a soul is split, it is divided into two equal pieces, half of the original soul would have gone into the first horcrux, Riddle's diary. Each successive horcrux would have had a soul fragment only half the size of the previous one, so what was left of Voldy after he tried to kill Harry at the start of the story was only a tortured, mutilated remnant. This also means that Voldy would retain the form of handsome, sixteen-year-old Tom Riddle with slightly more than half his original soul, once he re-absorbed the smaller fragment. This, as Rowling said, would have "strengthened Voldemort considerably."
Yaqub More like because it was literally whole diary with his memories and everything that became animated and almost corporeal unlike a regular horcrux that’s just an object with a fragment of his soul in it.
Sandip Mandal why girls don’t go to the bathroom alone Hermiony was attacked by a troll Ginny was abducted Myrtle died Katie was hexed Boys go to the bathroom alone because otherwise they’d kill each other
@Oof Oooof69 I thought it had its own form because of the type of object it was. It was a diary which contained memories, and therefore the memories combined to form an image of Riddle. You could be right though.
@Oof Oooof69 You are right in that the diary contained more of Voldemort's soul than any other horcrux he made, but I don't necessarily think that it means that it is the only horcrux that can make a new body. The thing is that we don't really know how horcruxes work, much of it is unknown since they are an exceptionally rare piece of dark magic. Furthermore, Voldemort is the only person as far as we know to have created more than one, which means that the other 6 horcruxes could act very differently than the first. It is possible that they could and couldn't. All in all, it is pure guesswork where we all make qualified guesses.
I always assumed that if the diary-Voldemort succeeded in killing off Ginny, the earthbound wraith form of Voldemort‘s soul would’ve been immediately drawn to it and become part of it, resulting in one Voldemort, not two.
I always thought that if Ginny died in the Chamber of Secrets, the destroyed Voldemort wandering around the world would be restored again, and the Tom Riddle memory in the Chamber would continue remaining a memory.
I agree, I believe he would have fused into tho new voldemort the same way he leeched onto Professor Quirel. Only the body would have accepted and combined the souls together, and possibly leaving him with a type of split personality (like shusui from yu yu hakusho)
Personally I think Voldemort intended the diary to create another body after opening the chamber, he would then possess and inherit that body and discard the old one. He wanted to be immortal and his body has a finite lifespan. This would be a perverse version of making himself young again and, since he kept reusing the same Horcrux, he could keep remaking it.
I'd say that the Riddle form would become completely corporeal, as the "less than the meanest ghost" form of Voldemort would have fused with his teenage form, while retaining his abilities and memories as he was when he was in full power as a middle-aged man.
I feel like none of them would hurt him, but would still make things a bunch harder... Plus, they wouldn't know the basilisk's venom can destroy horcruxes
video idea: what if Harry had destroyed the Diary _after_ the Riddle inside it had become a fully-fledged human again? Ginny wud've died, obviously, but would the "new" Riddle have been destroyed just like in the original timeline?
The “both Voldemorts would’ve combined their souls” part. This is impossible. As stated many times, a Horcrux can only be put back together/healed if the owner (the main bit of Voldy) feels remorse. And that would never happened. Going off of this point, I do have a few questions. Would Diary!Riddle go down the same path as Voldemort if he were successful? He doesn’t have Voldy’s recent memories; therefore he would 1. Be a woefully ignorant, literal teenager and 2. He wouldn’t have Voldy’s clouded judgment, biases, fears relating to the Prophecy etc. Two things that contradict. So I wanna know, what would Diary!Riddle do? Also, if Diary were to become aware of Present Voldy’s humiliating existence, would he WANT history to repeat itself?
Well yes and no, as a wraith lord Voldemort could have possessed the younger Tom Riddle and taking full control of his body in theory since they are one and the same person.
More likely the oldest version of voldermort would attach to him, just like he did with Quirrel, remember guys nobody could take the burden of sharing their body with voldemort, Quirrel needed the Unicorn blood for both to survive. SonI think Voldemort could just take Tom Riddles new body and maxbe it would have converted in another form and not the chopped monster of the 4th book
The diary as it appears in the Chamber of Secret is a controversial horcrux, because, as Hermione reads to us in the 7th book, the piece of soul contained in a horcrux can exist only inside its enchanted container. I hence believe that the “new” Riddle ,at least, wouldn’t have been independent from the diary like the original voldemort. Moreover, by definition, a living body must contain a soul, so, if the soul must reamain in the diary, the new Riddle cannot be alive. I suppose that, when she wrote the Chamber of Secrects, JK had, probably, a different idea of hocrux and perhaps a different story in her mind. In the half blood Prince, in fact, she gives about the diary an incoerent explanation and doesn’t mention this potential “ new” Tom Riddle.
There was actually a recent episode of Rick and Morty that reminded me of this concept; long-story short, Rick goes into the mind of a friend and meets a memory of his own younger self, who basically gains sentience, escapes the friends' mind and tries to live as a "sentient memory." I often wonder if the the Diary Tom Riddle's plan _had_ in fact worked, if Voldemort would confront him the same way the older _real Rick_ confronted the _Memory Rick._ I wonder if Tom would bear some hesitation at seeing the inevitable end result of what splitting the soul seven times would do to him.
Late response but diary riddle would be both undefeated & 50% of Voldi's soul while Voldi between philosopher stone and Goblet of Fire was at best a many times defeated & .008ish% fragment without a body or only with a deformed & weak rudimentary body. Older V would either be drawn to his younger self or diary Tom would hunt him down and absorb him with all his memories etc. Seeing where he had failed he would have changed his tactics. Diary Tom would have been a much more dangerous Voldemort
this is something I've been curious about for a while. While the diary was trying to bring itself back, the amorphous soul chunk from Halloween was floating around out there. I mean, the obvious answer is magic brings them together, they seem to be connected in some way since Diary was aware of what he would become and the importance of Harry. So perhaps consciousness is split between souls. This would explain the connection between TR and HP
If I were nerdier I would write a fanfic set in altHP where it reveals the reason why you should not make ore than one Horcrux is because each will try to be the 'real' you. So we could end up with 6 spirtis of Tom riddle all fighting it out through the horcruxes to be the real Lord Voldemort. Then all the Vmorts have to fight it out.
How About A Harry Potter Theory on What was Name of The Terrible Curse on The Resurrection Stone Ring That infected Dumbledore? Plus a Harry Potter Theory on What was Voldemort Thinking as He was Dying in front of Harry as He Lost to Harry?
I think each time he splits his soul, he splits his existing soul in half. The diary almost came to life because its such a huge part of his soul, whereas the other pieces seem to exhibit a degree of independent choice and resistance like the Locket understanding and interpretating the thoughts of the wearer, whilst the cup gave much less, Harry as the second last one gave literally none, Nagini also. I think this means each time the horcrux contained a smaller and smaller part of his soul, which explains why his appearance, as per the books, gets exponentially worse as he splits his soul as he gave away 50%, then 50% of what's left many times. Whatever is left inside of him is so small and clearly leads to his instability. This also explains why no one else had ever split there soul more then once - The soul fragment can't be qualified in size and then scaled by will. It rips you apart so violently that its roughly a 50/50 split in your soul, in all cases, because of the deep damage that ripping a soul apart causes. Anyone in the know regarding Horcruxes would not choose to go that far, whilst voldermort got his Knowledge from a singular book and Slughorn clarifying the particulars. Likely causing him to miss other sources that may exist which may have explained this, which he also did with the elder wand and its ownership.
How about the situation if you use a Horcrux and the Body-Regenerating-Potion as in HP4? For instance, use it as it was used in HP 4 and a second time afterwards. After it was successful.
I think it was created exactly for the purpose of recreating the body of a Horcrux-preserved soul, after the original body dies. It couldn't be used twice. My theory is that the potion originally works by placing the Horcrux in it, and it gets the soul fragment out of it, recreating your body. The Horcrux would be an ordinary object again, or destroyed. For Voldemort, no Horcrux was needed, as the soul fragment in his body survived, due to so many Horcruxes. However, Dumbledore says the only way to restore a soul while you're alive is remorse. He couldn't use it to move more fragments from Horcruxes back to their original place, and I don't think he would want to.
Riddle in the diary was just a fragment of voldy's soul that was created while creating the horcrux. So I think maybe even if Tom succeeded, it would only have made the horcrux stronger, more concealed, protected by the basilisk and hence more difficult to destroy when if at all was it discovered . Hope it fits 🤞
I’ve thought about that for awhile! Like could they have just used a horcrux and the same potion voldy used in the graveyard and made him fight the other one?
I love your channel so much.❤ I'm so glad this was the first video on my page. This theory is mind blowing.🤯 JK needs to answer this. You're a genius for even thinking about it.🤓
Well, the same mind is in both bodies. One of them should be the master, the other should had to obey. That means two avanda kentavra at the same time to each other :P
It is a strange piece of magic and likely unique in the world, as Voldemort is the first recorded example who used a horcrux as a weapon. But I do believe they could co-exist momentarily. If Riddle was able to regain full form, he likely would tried to find himself and from the first moment he could travel to Albania. After learning what has happened to the master soul, he probably would be disappointed by what he saw and consider trying to become the true Voldemort before realizing that he would always be the Horcrux. So, instead, he would help his other self with his resurrection process, boost him further with the energy that he absorbed from Ginny, before being returned to the diary, now with the knowledge that despite them having a seperate conscious, he was still immortal and his true self now able to go and restart his conquering of the magical world...
Now question is how to reabsorb the smaller fragments of soul from current voldomort. Because once split the soul is beyond repair and can't return to its original form. So they most likely be each other enemies and not any of them ready to work as servant or Allie to another.
That makes sense. If his wraith form was looking to get his body back he would just possess that one instead of the events of Goblet of Fire happening and there would be two.
The process of recombining two pieces of soul is deadly painfull... so I think that Voldemort couldn't combine himself with the Tom Riddle of the diary. He would have instead used the diary reborned Tom to do his hard biddings, like making the ritual and the potion to create the rudementary body and later the ressurection potion for him. And later on to lead the deateaters in their missions, like in the Ministry of Magic.
I think that the Tom Riddle would have a physical body but it would be a magical living projection of the Horcrux. He should carry the diary with him all the time etc.
This subject never made a lot of sense. Voldemort had multiple horcruxes. He appeared as a young Tom Riddle via the diary but how complete was he? If he had been able to gather the other fragments of his soul, could he have been a more complete, young Tom Riddle? How complete? Was his ultimate plan to emerge via the diary? When the diary was destroyed, where did he go and how? it apparently took a horrific act to resurrect Voldemort the next time around so what was the Voldemort unleashed by the diary? I always kind of thought of diary Voldemort as something like a ghost or spirit. Was diary Voldemort ever flesh and blood, so to speak? Additionally, after attacking baby Harry, how did the subhuman fragment of Voldemort get from England to Albania? Why Albania?
Quick question: who do you think would win in a fight, Percy Jackson or Harry Potter? I’d love to debate! Also, is this the new upload time for this channel?
I’ve had this thought sense I was a teenager and I really don’t think Rowling would let there be 2 Voldemort’s. When he sucked the life out of Ginny I think that new lifeforce would go to the floaty Voldemort and the horcrux would either no longer exist (because it did it’s job) or it would stay a horcrux in the state it was continuing to be an anchor. But the book is special. The other horcruxes didn’t have that much of a personality and we didn’t see the possess anyone. So honestly I think this was just one huge plothole. Plus in the end of all of it he used a crazy potion spell to come back anyway. No horcrux. Unless you count Harry’s blood. But even then he had no body for a long time until after the first couple of books. So like... none of us know where the line is drawn for any of this remotely.
You should do theory where why didn’t Dumbledore kill Voldermort himself and why the prophecy had to be completed for Voldermort to die to Harry why didn’t Dumbledore do it himself?
here is a wild tough. what if the young Voldemort was able to steal Ginny's life and then the "spirit version in the Albanian forest was somehow able to call that young version to him. then similar to the poor professor Quirrell, the original Voldemort take over the younger diary version body. now he would have both the "immortality" from the horuxes and the pre soul splitting looks. if Bellatrix had hots for the og Voldemort, i'm afrait to think how wild she would become upon learning about Voldemort's new youthful look. 😂
I thought of that too - but unfortunately not. Helga Hufflepuff's cup became a horcrux before Salazar Slytherin's Locket but the locket was destroyed before the cup. If that wasn't the case, then your statement would be true
The Voldemort from the diary would be as strong as the student Voldemort. Meaning pretty strong, but still no match to Dumbledore, who he feared the most. So the diary Voldemort would still fear Dumbledore and the only chance to become full power Voldy would be to unite with the original self.
The two would fight. The winner absorbing the loser. Neither could accept the other might be more powerful. The key factors would be just how permanent Tom Riddles body is, if Voldemort has a body and which wand each is using. Would a wand be able to tell the difference between two versions of the same person or would the wand view both as its master?
There’s a theory that states that Dumbledore made the Elder Wand a Horcrux following the death of his sister. SuperCarlinBrothers disagrees, saying that Fawkes is Dumbledore’s Horcrux. JK Rowling has debunked this, saying “The idea that anyone thinks this is strangely upsetting to me.”
Nah. They probably would have merged. Tom Riddle might have been annoyed and disappointed with his older self, who had been defeated by a child (twice) and reduced to a ghost...however, he would have craved the knowledge and experience that the older Voldemort had amassed over the decades, and the older Voldemort would have wanted a new body and what better than his own younger self?
I‘m sure that Voldemort was lying to Harry. If Ginny would have died than maybe Tom could have walked around for a short time. But not very long. Please notice also that Tom‘s control over Ginny is in fact very weak. Even if Tom would have succeded in destroying Ginny there can‘t any other way of returning but flesh blood and bones. Tom was either lying or overestimating himself.

Wasn’t this already uploaded at one point? I swear I’ve watched it before. Slight confusion aside though, I love this theory
I love your channel so much.❤ I'm so glad this was the first video on my page. This theory is mind blowing.🤯 JK needs to answer this. You're a genius for even thinking about it.🤓
What if Tom had fused with all of his copies? Including the one in Harry?
It would have been interesting to see what would happen if dairy Tom had succeeded. Would he join Voldemort or see him as competition.
Dairy Tom 🥛 enemy to vegans everywhere
Literally first. It's so good to be first and see the vdo of hpt (Harry Potter Theory)
Day 1 of asking could you do a video on why Fred and George didn't see Peter Petigrew on the Maurader's Map
or that he was sleeping with their brother, Ron XD
peter pettigrew is ron's pet and would never expect it
That makes sense. If his wraith form was looking to get his body back he would just possess that one instead of the events of Goblet of Fire happening and there would be two.
If we go off Film Theory's idea about how the soul splitting works, Young Tom is more Tom than present Tom.
This is by far the most interesting thing in the hp world
The process of recombining two pieces of soul is deadly painfull... so I think that Voldemort couldn't combine himself with the Tom Riddle of the diary. He would have instead used the diary reborned Tom to do his hard biddings, like making the ritual and the potion to create the rudementary body and later the ressurection potion for him. And later on to lead the deateaters in their missions, like in the Ministry of Magic.
I was wondering about this for a while
Good concept...
I've wondered about this since book 6. All I can think is that it would seek out and merge with the main Voldemort
I think that the Tom Riddle would have a physical body but it would be a magical living projection of the Horcrux. He should carry the diary with him all the time etc.
Is this a reupload? I am pretty sure I watched it some time ago. :(
I was always trying to figure this out since chamber of secrets!!!
His future self seeing his past self, Temporal Paradox. It'll rupture the timeline of the story.
I think that the part of Voldemort's soul (diary part) would just pop back into Voldemort if Ginny died thus making him more powerful.
God I've been dying to watch this!
Quick question: who do you think would win in a fight, Percy Jackson or Harry Potter? I’d love to debate!
Also, is this the new upload time for this channel?
Me
He's leaving absences of himself would could be absorbed. probably 2 could exist but they would form together
You should do theory where why didn’t Dumbledore kill Voldermort himself and why the prophecy had to be completed for Voldermort to die to Harry why didn’t Dumbledore do it himself?
because then Dumbledore would have to kill harry and since harry was a horcrux it would not go well
@@TylerB-my1kr oh ye lol
@@ItzBetrayed lol Dumbledore kills
harry that's the plot twist
@@TylerB-my1kr oh wait nvm warner bros. PUT THIS IN THE FILM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
here is a wild tough. what if the young Voldemort was able to steal Ginny's life and then the "spirit version in the Albanian forest was somehow able to call that young version to him.
then similar to the poor professor Quirrell, the original Voldemort take over the younger diary version body.
now he would have both the "immortality" from the horuxes and the pre soul splitting looks.
if Bellatrix had hots for the og Voldemort, i'm afrait to think how wild she would become upon learning about Voldemort's new youthful look. 😂
It is possible but one of them would kill each other because "Only I can live forever" XD
I think that if he succeeded the younger Voldemort would’ve been gone but the diary was still a horcroax
What’s this music called
Here is mine if toms memory became physical by draining Ginny he would find real Voldemort and they would fuse forever becoming one Voldemort
Is this a re-up load???!
Were the hocruxes destroyed in the same order in which they were created?
I thought of that too - but unfortunately not. Helga Hufflepuff's cup became a horcrux before Salazar Slytherin's Locket but the locket was destroyed before the cup. If that wasn't the case, then your statement would be true
Hey this is a re-upload? Coz I have seen this already in an old video!! The video was urs only
The Voldemort from the diary would be as strong as the student Voldemort. Meaning pretty strong, but still no match to Dumbledore, who he feared the most. So the diary Voldemort would still fear Dumbledore and the only chance to become full power Voldy would be to unite with the original self.
What if Tom Riddle from the diary made a horcrux? What if Voldemort's horcrux made a horcrux? 😱🤯
That would make Voldermort lush the boundaries of Magic even further than he already had like Dumbledore told Harry in The half blood prince
Would love to see a Death Eater/Voldemort civil war lol
Can someone ask her since all the books are done?
Xehenort from kingdom hearts makes this look like walk in the park
I’m curious if a wand could be made into a horcrux.
Great question
There’s a theory that states that Dumbledore made the Elder Wand a Horcrux following the death of his sister. SuperCarlinBrothers disagrees, saying that Fawkes is Dumbledore’s Horcrux. JK Rowling has debunked this, saying “The idea that anyone thinks this is strangely upsetting to me.”
@@YellowBear-kx1ff obviously Dumbledore did not make a horcrux.
It would be an interesting duel if Tom Riddle dueled Voldemort.
Why do you change your voice from your other channel
@Oof Oooof69 oh really why he sounds similar
Can you please change background music
This is getting out of hand...now there are two of them!!
Yes. The part of the soul is kept in the horcrux...can be seen by others...
Yes, but they would eventually see each other as a threat and seek to destroy one another.
Video idea does conflict fuel voldemorts powers
I think if the Chamber of secrets vold came back he would have just died. Because Harry still had his mom's protection.
sir, please make a video on how Azkaban escapees get back their stuff a humble request from my side
Can you nake a video on the cursed child😀😀😀😂😂😁😁😁
Itll be fun
I‘m sure that Voldemort was lying to Harry. If Ginny would have died than maybe Tom could have walked around for a short time. But not very long. Please notice also that Tom‘s control over Ginny is in fact very weak. Even if Tom would have succeded in destroying Ginny there can‘t any other way of returning but flesh blood and bones. Tom was either lying or overestimating himself.
Well kinda harry was a part of voldemort only thing separating them where their choices so I think yes two can exist at the same time.
That would’ve been crazy
