If acquiring your collectible would cause you significant hardship, you wouldn't do it. Your collection is stored well, and both the acquisition of items and existence of the collection do not impede your daily life. A hoard is collected compulsively, every item is emotionally difficult to get rid of, yet it's not stored well, like stacks of stuff on floors, extreme cases like you see on the shows about hoarding result in people filling bathtubs or blocking access to their kitchen with hoarded items. If a collector didn't have the extra money, they wouldn't buy the thing, they could wait until the money was available. A hoard grows even to its owner's detriment.

The criminals were in the store with guns ready to rob it, during this exact time she goes to the back room and opens the safe, she then leaves when it's not even time for her to leave, then the criminals rob the store. Then she admits to having spent $30k on Funko Pops. Yeah, where did she get the $30k to spend so nonchalantly on plastic and that's just Funko Pops, she also had enough to buy tons of food and rent. I've met this template of a person before and they are absolutely EXHAUSTING to have in your life. At first, they seem really cool (masking true personality to get you close to them), then little things come up here and there where they tell you about bad things that happened to them. At this point, you feel so sorry for them and put a lot of emotional energy into supporting them through rough times. Over time, they keep losing 'toxic' jobs, losing 'toxic' friends, and losing 'toxic'boyfriends. It seems like there's a new catastrophe every day, and best believe it will never be their fault. If you dare to put up boundaries, they will guilt you into believing you're a bad friend. By the way, by this point their personality has done a complete 180 from when you first met them. Don't even think about bringing up your own issues, not only will they not care, they'll use it as an opportunity to tell you about the new Bad Thing that happened to them, and why it's sooo much worse than what you're going through. By this point, you're completely burnt out dealing with their constant Catastrophes' and having to do daily motivational speeches that you realise how toxic they are, and remove yourself from their lives. Then, they find their next friend/victim, put on the fake sparkly happy personality and tell the new friend how toxic you are and how much trauma you caused them. New friend falls into their trap, and the cycle repeats, and repeats, and repeats. They will never change, they will never self-reflect on their actions, and they will always be the victim.

Everyone but her, Mr Internet, and their friend group thinks she is with Mr Roommate still and sees how they behave. Mr Internet and the online gang think she's a victim of poor circumstances because they have never met her or her people. She's living with her "Ex", jobless for an extended period of time, sitting at home emotionally cheating, sad because she couldn't go out to physically cheat, and she's not homeless because of her boyfriend, but the "Ex" is the problem here?

@HangLowKing why? It's a visible indication of loss of control in someone's life or lack of self-respect. I think obesity says a lot and shouldn't be normalised.
Of course, there are some fringe health related cases but they are a tiny minority. Even then proper diet manages weight gain (speaking as someone who had a major hormone issue a few years back).
