Thank you so much for this instructional video. The man at the planet nursery told me that I had to wait for spring to repot my plants . I was blessed with a gift card for Christmas to a local nursery. I have always repotted a purchased plant when I got it home. Because some have had the roots hanging out of the bottom of the pot. I am glad I found your video! I made the correct choice. I repotted the two of the plants I purchased. Thank you so much for posting this video.
I’m definitely a plant killer, as much as I love plants and have loads at home. My kill rate has improved to 50-50 now though, baby steps! But I needed this video. Thank you!!
I buy plants cause they’re cute but not cause of the lighting. Oh boy! That’s why some of them died. Love love all your plants! Thanks for sharing these tips, I learned sooo much!
Thanks for the video! I don't think that's a Peacock prayer plant. Maybe a Setosa? They're beautiful! I went to the store today to "look" and ended up with 4 more!
This was great! I'm pretty obsessed with plants, but I've never done such a thorough inspection after purchasing them. I'll definitely start doing that now! :)
Omg...So helpful! I need to inspect the leaves on my new plant a little more. Also will be repotting one of them soon, so on my way to watch your next video😂
This is very helpful. I’m also in Texas and have been wanting to get a few plants. I tried orchids years ago and that was a mistake. They are hard for a newbie. 🤣
I bought a plant from ikea there was no stub. They barely had the name in English. Lol. But I’m doing my research cuz I’m a new plant mom who wants to care for her plant babies
Hi Yvette, thanks for watching! Root bound refers to the instance at which the roots are heavily wrapped around the plant and or the roots have markedly grown out of the plant pot.
