- Today we have a build for Catwoman in Dungeons & Dragons! If you want to dress in all leather and pretended to be a cat you can do that! And you can do that in D&D 5e too!

I'm genuinely interested in what a "Powerbuilding Character" series would look like. For the lols, of course. I love Building Character.
Gotta cap at lvl 8 for realistic usability....
I could see it as a sort of expansion or response to the regular series. Maybe assume access to all official magic items, to allow for more versatility in meeting some of the goals? That way, more of the character choices can be geared toward optimization.
There have been some power builds on this channel. Ice Climbers, Master Chief, Captain Underpants...

I ran a VtM game for the people I play D&D with, and as they were had not ever played it, I made sure they had a skill to feed; most choose seduction, but then they felt awkward trying to play that out. But, unless your GM is a purist dick (and then you should find another DM), remember that you can describe your character's actions in third person, rather than in first person
Yup. Absolutely agree. There's a reason that we do rolls for skills. We don't expect the player to actually have the knowledge, acrobatics or athletics skills demonstrated at the table. Why, then, do we expect charisma skills to be demonstrated?
When I play, and want to use a charisma based skill, I simply announce to the DM that I want to "make an attempt to persuade xyz." If the DM agrees that I can, I roll dice. Plain and simple.
I've played in games where another player and the DM essentially ended up playing chicken over a seduction. The DM veered first.
I’m guessing Thief Rogue crossed with Kensei Monk.
Update: Damn, he got me there.
I assumed Monk to get the claws (especially since Batman Ninja shows a version of her with both kinds of commonly known claw hand weapons)

The best versions of Catwoman are always the ones where (1) you're supposed to be rooting for her, and (2) Batman is basically 100% okay with whatever she's doing.
Poison ivy is similar. She has this thing where you are rooting for her half the time and the other half she’s trying to kill humanity.

Massive whip game, bro.
The Thief that expected, the rest was a surprise, but a welcome one. The only downside is that the whole video I was hoping for some clips from the Animated Series and/or the Arkham games. Michelle Pfeiffer was an okay Catwoman, still Batman Returns is more Burton crazy ride than proper adaptation of those characters.
Look, it drains my blood to see a video posted that isn't Anderson Cooper. I need that build. We need that build. Tulok please 🥺

Most of those "poor criminals" were mobsters. And Catwoman wasn't helping the poor.
@@ArcCaravan most of the mobsters weren't the ones doing the actual robberies and left it to more expendable street thugs. And depending on what version of catwoman, she did help the poor. And even if she didn't, she has punished domestic abusers, especially since she was abused herself growing up as well. Plus the joke was that she isn't a pure villain especially when the key aspects of her character that makes her a villain, are arguably a good thing in some situations (backstabbing villains, stealing from the rich/corrupt). Maybe calling her an antihero would be too strong of a word, at least before she forms any relationship with other characters, but still, she isnt a supervillain either.
@@SapphireBurns I just hate cheap arguments trying to say heroes are bad and villains are good. Got enough of that from Game Theory.
Catwoman could qualify as an anti-villain honestly.

Thief is the best option, considering their Second Story Work.

Catwoman got a movie no one likes to mention. Uncle Iroh on the other hand, has no episodes fans don't like to bring up.

Edited: and Selina's a battle master with some thief. It makes sense given her tendency to use her whip for things other than direct attacks.
I'll add that Michelle Pfeiffer did the scene where she beheaded several mannequins in one take, which Anthony DeLongis, her instructor on whip work, said he would find difficult to do himself.
Episode #248 of the Fire Emblem stats: Selina Kyle.
Compared to most Batman characters, she's pretty basic with strengths in just brawling and riding and weaknesses in both types of magic, heavy armor, and authority.
She's pretty much a glass cannon with great speed, luck, and dexterity but bad HP and defenses.
Before video prediction: rouge with the thief archetype, maybe some monk levels to make the whip better plus unarmored defense and more mobility
After: Touché

I'm not so sold on getting Charisma to 20 when you can pick feats like Alert, Observant or Slasher (from Tasha's)

Oh heck yeah, a character favorite of mine!!I’m really surprised we didn’t go for some levels in Whispers Bard for an extra touch of humiliating. But the 2nd 3rd lvl ability isn’t very in-character, and I do love me Indomitable. Good job!

Well, I can't complain about you making a lot of fighters. There's an absolute ton of popular characters who do fighter things.
I had a Rogue with a whip, Bugbear named Mane. People complained that whips were a sub-optimal weapon, then I preformed a melee from 15 ft away.

If you cross classed an Eldritch Knight and a Warlock with Pact of the Blade that could mean 3 bonded weapons that can be summoned directly to you (though you can only summon 1 of the 2 EK bonded weapons as a bonus action).
Interesting idea for a Baraka from Mortal Kombat II.

Pre-build guess: Tabaxi (or V Human) Kensei Monk/Thief Rogue with one or two of the following feats: Lucky, Athlete, Mobile, and/or Martial Adept (Possible manuevers could be Ambush, Disarming Attack, Evasive Footwork, Lunging Attack, and/or Trip Attack)
Post video: I got the Rogue and V Human plus lucky. I was wrong on monk (I didn't think about leather) and other feats (even though he did go Battlemaster which covers martial Adept)

Hey Tulock if you build Shiro from Log Horizon you can use Calligraphy to its absolute maximum as his job class is scribe (the in universe explanation is that you have a combat class and a job class, he is in an anime that is based in a video game)
My hope is one day that will be a god class build.
