Elvis Presley - It's Now or Never | Live New Year's Eve 1976
• Elvis Presley - It's N...
Elvis performs "O Sole Mio/It's Now or Never" with Sherrill Nielsen singing the first part. Recorded by fans live on December 31st 1976 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Suzi and Travis, here is a special edit created from amateur video from the New year's eve Pittsburgh show in 1976. elvis's health had been in decline but on this very last evening of the year - which would sadly also be the last of his life, something of the old elvis returned. he was in good spirits; his energy was good and he was even more slender than in previous shows from earlier in the year. Here, he shows off his remarkable vocal talents - along with an amazing prelude, singing his 1960 hit, recorded upon his return from the army.
The King's last New Years Eve. At this date he was in great shape though, and left a mark on history..as so many times before.
He lost a good 20/25 lbs, had his passion for music back this last week concerts in December, hard to believe a month and half later back on tour, it looked like he gained it all back plus some
Elvis kissed the girls, used many scarves & passed on his sweat filled scarves & the ladies loved it... including me. His performances were so personal & he kidded & joked & chatted with the audiences. My brother got to see him in his Hawaii concert & I will be forever jealous.
The King is awesome.
He was a lovely, lovely man. We cherish you Elvis. ❤
He kept every gift his fans ever gave him
He also did a version of “hurt” later in this show, where he’s actually singing from his back, lying down on the stage!
Travis is right, the king is so supportive of other musicians 😂🎉
that wasn't a cowbell
this was the last show of his 76 bicentennial tour
any shows that took place around his birthday (jan 8th) people brought bday gifts even birthday cakes for him...they always brought gifts for him to the shows year round but this one was special
e loved his country and was a true patriot
so the bicentennial tour was special
the fan brought him a brass liberty bell
" merry xmas
happy new yr
happy bicentennial
Happy birthday and i love you"
we miss him more than ever!
Wow! I enjoyed seeing this video. Elvis looking good and having fun! Such a phenomenal voice! That song was a massive hit for Elvis. Very nice reaction, thank you. More Elvis please... ❤🎧🎶⚡🎙🥇
He was so beautiful! Gods gift to woman!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
His non-rock material added to his already-huge impact.
August 16th was the anniversary of the day Elvis went to sing for the angels 😇
76 wasn't a great year for Elvis, health wise but this show on New Years Eve was where Elvis gave it everything...he was vocally excellent ( so many so called rock stars these days should see how it's really done), the love and connection with his audience was beautiful, the respect Elvis had for his fellow musicians on stage was there for all to see on stage and he literally left everything out there on that stage.....the man will never be equalled.....great review
His body finally gave out but the God given voice never did
Neat stuff....
Many fans are in agreement that this 1976 New Year's show in Pittsburgh (where this song was lifted from) is the best concert he ever gave.
Despite there being no soundboard recording of this show, the audience recorded gig of this concert was hugely sought after by Elvis fans on the black market. It's most likely the biggest selling Elvis bootleg record of em all.
The video of this complete show is the 3rd biggest selling Elvis video on the black market after the 2 concerts he filmed in June 1977 for his CBS tv special...
He had just started seeing his new girlfriend Ginger Alden about a month or so before this show and his concerts greatly improved afterwards....
Now or Never the first 45 record I ever bought. I still have it
That power is amazing!🎉
His concerts were always a love fest between Elvis, his musicians, the audience and fans. He knew how much we loved him and we knew he loved us right back. Thanks for this one, Robert and you 2. You are so fun doing Elvis!! You should react to "Don't rehearsal 1970 LasVegas/ resync with the Philharmonic Orchestra " ❤❤❤
Don't is not well known but a great song.
The magnificent ELVIS PRESLEY 👏🏾💖🙋💖👏🏾
Awesome reaction and performance. Love you guys and the Elvis reactions.
Elvis reportedly struggled to hit the climatic last note of this song on the recorded version and when it was suggested that they splice it together, Elvis replied that either he would hit the note in one take of the entire song or they would not do it at all. I think that shows his integrity as an artist and a dedication to his art & craft. Also, a lot of focus is given to his rhythm and blues/country influences because he was from the south where those genres originated but from an early age, Elvis was a sponge who soaked up any music he could listen and was a fan of opera as well which you can hear in his later recordings.
Try this song when he was in his prime army video, his vocals,u will hear why he's the king!
He brought such joy to the world, and his legacy is continuing thanks to channels like yours. Elvis forever ❤
Your Elvis reactions are top tier keep them up!!!
That whole Pittsburgh New Year's Concert is absolutely awesome!
Elvis forever ❤❤❤
I would love to see this great phenomenal singer and human being in his most special element singing his beautiful song "Memories."
Elvis' greatest love was for his fans.
His version of It's Now or Never sold 20 million copies. Hard to wrap head around that statistic.
Elvis end Kitty White :Crawfish ! thats soo cool!!!
Gorgeous Elvis. Still the Undisputed King of Music and Hearts 💯⚡❤
The first voice singing is a guy named Sherill Nielsen....beautiful tenor voice.
You got the right concert. Now explore his version of the song hurt at this concert and be blown away.
Susie and travis ! Your elvis reactions are the best ! Keep up the great work !❤😊
Elvis is still the best selling solo artist ever. Immagine if he had been selling in todays market (he is, but I mean as a live, top performer) with 2 times the populære, a much bigger middle class, computers to reach more people, streaming instead of people having to go to a record store and buy the record. Artist today have much more acces to selling and promoting.
That was his highest selling record of all time.
Elvis look like he was having a great time he like kidding him
Stay with the same concert and watch him sing hurt and be stunned by the end of the song.
That was beautiful ❤❤❤
So great you get to see and react to these lesser known performances, where video and audio quality may not be as good, but Elvis was even more at home. Thanks you.
Excellent reaction this is why he is called the King.❤️🤘😎
THANKS FOR THE JOY, YOU BRING US DOING THESES ELVIS REVIEWS. DURING THESE SAD TIMES IN THE WORLD, YOU BRING HAPPINESS AND A SMILE TO OUR FACES. YOU GUYS ARE SECOND TO NON-WITH-IN THE ELVIS FAMILY. THANK YOU
Simplemente el rey
Elvis also does the same version in his last concert just six weeks before his passing
I have 500 Elvis concerts and love when Elvis changed the texts to something funny. Some examples, in the song "It's now or never" he sang "now that your here, to bad you're queer" . In the song "Good times" he sang "Dont look so bad, put on some makeup" instead of "dont look so sad, I kmow its ower" . In Are you lonesome tonight, "do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair" instead of "do you gaze at your doorstep and wish I was there". There are so many more examples, which is one of the factors that makes me love this man.
❤😊 I Love You Elvis!!
Elvis died about 8 months after this was recorded. He was not at his best, actually at almost at his worse. He was still trying hard to put on a good show. He had a congenital heart defect just like his mother did and a blockage or twist in his intestines. Plus he had become addicted to drugs. In his last few concerts he had the backup singers and band play and sing a little louder in places to obscure times when he couldn’t quite do what he once could.
Elvis also was a fan of Mario Lanza who passed away at a very young 38 yrs in 1958. Mario sang a song also called "O Sole Mio".
This was Elvis's favorite song out of all of them, except for his gospel ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for playing Elvis Presley love that ❤
El hombre la sonrisa y la voz más sensual y hermoso del universo gracias ELVIS 😘🔥
Wooow… I’ve never seen that one before. He looked great for that time period, and sounded great as usual. Thanks for that.
I love your reactions! ELVIS voice is so beautiful, his vocals amazing! Thank you guys! More ELVIS please!
Your insight about Elvis was right on! Love watching you guys! :)
Your reactions are a joy.
Please react to This song from 1960, when he was in his prime. 🙏❤️His voice on the otigiyos absolutely marvellous. 😍
You’re missing out. For me as an old Elvis fan is hard to watch these performances ,at the end when he was so sick 😢 . His voice then did not make the songs justice . Especially if you are going to react for the very first time . Its important to get it right . . Because this version stays with you.
He's having such fun!! I've never seen this before ‐ SO enjoyable ❤

Truly so happy to see this... thought I had seen him doing everything on youtube... new to me and I love it.
I loved Elvis. One thing Elvis never accomplished was he never recorded a song he wrote, it was always OP songs
I remember the day Elvis died. They announced it on KZOK out of Seattle. I was dumbfounded. Had been a fan since I was a child. I was a fan of alot of things when I was a child. Not all of them turned out. Elvis, I ll stick with for now. Bill Cosby and Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis? IDK.
He was a week away from turning 41 and still looked and sounded great. Thanks for bringing this to us, I loved seeing it!!
Thanks for is video for the king👑
Hi, I'm Josh and I'm on my mom's account and I would like to request you guys react to Elvis singing "Auld Lang Syne" from 1976.
Thanks, Josh
I want to see you reacting to Elvis movies!
Amazing! 👏👏👏
Great reaction showing Elvis's top performances were often influenced by his life off stage, in this instance his new love Ginger Alden - you saw her when reacting to Hurt performed in June 1977.
MA gosh, to kneel down😊😢❤
1 of my fav songs of his as well as wooden heart. xx
That was fantastic never seen it before Elvis was just awesome great reaction thank you both 😊😊
💖💖
The King 👑👍
Fabulous. Now please review Big Love Big Heartache by the king
You guys should play the one when he weto the Army. There was no noise and you get to see his life in the Army. Please try it and compare with this one. The other one is black and buit is very clear his voice.
I always enjoy your reactions!
Suggestion: check out Dwight Yoakam’s cover of “Suspicious Minds.”
Few can do Elvis justice but Dwight pulls it off.
Love your Elvis reactions so much!
Reaction Defqon 1 Festival 2023 Endshow please for next video😉
❤👑👑👑👑👑❤
Suzy, “My Give A Damn’s Busted” by Jo Dee Messina, reminded me of you.
You should sée Elvis in Vegas 70 with électrique guitare 🎸 singing its now or Never .thanks i love this version aswell bless you WE love you
You,guys played the,wrong video
---------- NOT the good version. Except for 1970/71 live, this song should really be heard in it's ORIGINAL form from 1960. BUT the problem is, younger generations MUST always see live performances, they do not have the patience to sit back & enjoy a song without video.
In so doing, all of Elvis most brilliant original versions gets overloooked. Comparing the live version of this 16 yrs later, vs the original studio version, there is NO comparison.
Please check out 30 #1 hits album & listen to the good stuff!
I am 56 I've Listened / Watched them ALL -- ANYTHING ELVIS DOES I LOVE PERIOD
@@HeavenlyPresley-Tonya Sure, no argument there. But newcomers to Elvis should really hear his original hit versions and get to know him before hearing the remakes later. I believe they can appreciate it more, knowing Elvis did very brilliant versions of the songs they are seeing later (esp poor quality video clips). Most times we don't win new fans if we start with the remakes up front, or lots of poor movie songs they gave him that he reluctantly recorded. Only my opinion.
@@scsu5085 It's a fact most Elvis Fans Like 70's Elvis Most but I Like all of his even the movie songs -- that he hated -- all his movies now these kids were more introduced with the Elvis Movie so they like 70's but yes I wish they would -- I have an Elvis Channel - this one here Heavenly Presley -- its grown so much I am at almost 39K in 9 months -- If you'd like to stop by... Also I have an interview with Elvis in 1972 45 Min its fantasticccc He talks about the movies he made he talks about sooo much I listen to it alot just to hear him talk -- this was the full interview from EOT -- it's on My Main Page -- but I've got young elvis 60's 70's even his Sun Record Recordings
That woman is scary
His Italian accent was lousy. (I know, I know, he was just spoofin' ...)
This is good but his original recording blows this out of the water.just saying.
How long did it take you to memorize your fake Analysis? 😂😂😂
