Tiffin, Ohio

Tiffin is a city in the County seat of Seneca County, Ohio. Tiffin was incorporated by an act of the Ohio Legislature on March 7, 1835. St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tiffin is the first public building in the world to be wired for electricity during its construction in 1884. Tiffin University offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. The Ritz is the only reminder of an era gone by. One of the four theaters in Tiffin of the 1920's and 1930's. (Looking at the building you can almost imagine people arriving there in 1920's attire.) The Tiffin Glass Museum and Shoppe in town are interesting to visit. There is still a lot of people that collect such glass, some really beautiful pieces. The American Civil War Museum of Ohio in Tiffin is one of the best. Tiffin has some great restaurants, and little specialty shops.

I was born and raised in this town, I call it home. This is all downtown, and lemme tell you. In the years I have lived here, a lot has changed. People are still fussed over the old courthouse where the new one stands.
