My channel is about filming historical towns and cities in the US. I love the history and the architecture of older towns, cities, and buildings. I also like hiking and camping and occasionally film this as well. Along with the channel mascot "Ralphie" my Yorkie. We hope you enjoy the content.
Zoar, Ohio
Zoar is a village in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Zoar was founded by German religious dissenters in 1817. In 1819, they organized a communal society. German separatists left southeastern Germany to escape persecution for there religious beliefs. There communal home was from 1817 to 1898. Historic Zoar Village is a National Historic Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic places. Most of the historic buildings are only opened for tours for special events, and the holidays is one of them. To see all the different historical buildings were such a treat for me. And Ralphie even got to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
