This video couldn't come more at a perfect time. Getting ready to tune up a wheel horse c121. I was trying to figure out how to crimp my plug wire? Thanks for this share. What perfect timing
The spark plug wire connection at the coil or the plug is often the ignition’s system weakest link. Doing the connection job right eliminates a possible intermittent problem a.k.a frustration source ! Amitiés Donald.
Tech Tip...after crimping the terminal onto the wire...lightly coat the terminal and 1/2" of the wire with dilectric grease to ease the insertion of the wire into the boot. Excellent tutorial...thank you.
Great looking pro results and you can tell by just looking at the results that any future pesky ignition problems are unlikely to be due to the spark plug connector. Top job! Great video, nicely shot, thanks again Don 👍👌👏
It's always satisfying to use the proper wire crimping tool for the intended application! Instead of 'carefully' using a hammer and chisel, and hoping for the best. This spark plug wire crimped is no different!
Super neat tool donyboy73 I had no idea about the existence of this tool until you shared this video. I will need to buy one of these now. Thanks for the review and demonstration. 👍
Donny your videos have really helped me Thanks so much man I just have a tiny issue, I have a 3800 thermocool generator that starts using a push button but the button just stopped working for no reason . It starts fine on the pull cord but the button is irresponsive like it's just not working. I've tested the batteries and they read 12v no issues
Another good vid. These little details can make all the difference. I just hope it doesn't put a "crimp" in my style. Cuz I'm way cool!! Ask anybody! Really! 😄 Actually, don't. I'm old, balding and I smell like cheese.😵 BTW, everytime I click on one of your videos a commercial pops up showing an electric lawnmower competing with a smoking gas powered mower and the song behind the vid is -"Anything you can do I can do better." Saw an electric mower ON SALE at an ACE hardware store for $659 USD!! They sure couldn't do better on the price. Best 👍.
It just occurred to me, have I been doing wire crimps wrong all along? Are you supposed to fold the wire and crimp onto the insulation on normal terminals or just spark plug wires?
I’ve got a spool of plug wire like that. Maybe I should add a codicil to my will to leave it to somebody, that way it won’t go into my estate sale🙈😎 Cause I’m not ready to go…!
I bought another set of crimpers last week, to do my plug wires.. HUGE mistake!!! Just received my 35051 crimper this morning. Thankfully my wire set included two extra connectors, because I have to redo the one I attempted with the other set. It looks pitiful, lol!
i don't mind paying alot for a tool when it does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do.....once you see it do the job, the price means nothing....unless you lose it.....i felt the same way when they came out with the CV boot clamp tool, used it once and it was out of this world
If you put the boots on first it's easier and you won't scratch the inside which could cause tracking of the spark.

Thanks Don! Nobody is more professional than you when it comes to this business. Thanks for all you do!

merci
Could not be explained any more clearly than that!
👍👍
I've honestly never had to redo a crimp on a high tension lead, but if I do, I'll be getting one of these. Thanks Dony, hope all is well brother!
Thanks buddy!

Thanks Donyboy 😊
Thank you for sharing this tool review. ❤️🇨🇦
Thanks Dony, another great informative video. Keep them coming
More to come!
There's lots of different spark plug wire terminal crimping pliers/tools available. But the one you show is nice & seem to do a good job.
It’s always better when you have the right tool for the job!
Thanks for sharing DonyBoy. That looks like a nice tool. Looks like it works great!!

Great as usual
The clearest, detailed and easy explanation with visuals. Thank you!
Looks like a great tool. And another great video from you. Thanks
I usually put the boot on the wire first. Then do the crimp on the wire and slide it down.
A great crimping tool nwont cramp your hard work on replacement of the spark plug connection terminal yeah buddy 😎👍
Nice tool, me want! I use dish soap to slide wires through....I figure it will break down faster than silicone spray.
Nice tip thanks Don
great show and tell
Can’t find the links for the tool. Thanks much for your information
Good Morning DB73, More toys to buy - Thank you for the demonstration. I gotta buy one !!. Cheers !!***.

Looks good 👍 What wire are you using?
Professional!
Great tool
Thanks
Thank u
Yeah that’s something. My guy isn’t going to use too often. Usually the plug wire comes with the coil.
Thank s.
It also saves time and money not waiting around for a new wire to show up.
Nice!

Just spark plug wires. Standard crimped wire splices crimp onto the wire and the insulation should sit inside the collar

$122 here in USA. Pliers for me.
I think first should insert rubber boot in cable than crimp the connector. But that is my opinion.
👍👏

Donyboy 73 thought I would tell you that you’re being impersonated by a scammer.
yes i saw that
I used to be a spark plug…
