What a sweet design for a bass! Three half coils on top of one another and a humbucker on the neck for the ultimate low-end thump sound. Reminds me a lot of Yamaha's Signature "Attitude" bass for Billy Sheehan.
I will be receiving a Mercalli 4 bass from my mother for my 18th birthday coming up. The one with the black pickguard and the green-gray trim.
I'm thinking of naming it "Uku Uku Jijiji" or "Uku Ala Jijiji" which mean "Great Earthquake" in Igbo because the Korina wood comes from Western Africa.

I agree. She sounds like she has been playing for a year or less. Almost every video I have seen they copy Watts style. We want to hear how it sounds in hard rock or Funk, etc
