    Turn off the room mic when he's playing. We want to hear the direct signal, not rooms sounds .

    The scale lengths are going to affect the tone big time. Not really the same type of bass to begin with.

      I thought they were at least kinda ballpark similar. Both have P pup in the sweet spot. IMO they Watt was more barky like a J-Bass, but had the P-Bass thickness.

      Watt likes the short scale bass for playing live. Not sure if he records with it however

    You don't hit the gym, so you had time to learn to play properly.
