    I own this pedal and I reckon it is absolutely brilliant. It's just so versatile. Think about it: you have a tubescreamer, a Timmy and a EP Boost in each mode, each with a boost, all coming off one power supply? Amazing value and my only drive now.

      Hi. I recently bought this pedal. Wanted to know if Comp Out /FM/Vintage are controlled from a 3 way switch? My pedal switch has only two positions similar to the Mosfet/Standard switch.
      Can anyone confirm

    Picked one up a couple weeks ago. Simply awesome. I've never been an overdrive guy. I was always clean or cranked. But I joined a church band and this adds just enough crunch to thicken and break up the sound without ticking off the old folks. With a bit of chorus and delay, a tele sounds absolutely angelic. Pun intended. For blues and warm crunch It is literally as nice as my Mesa boogie v twin pedal that I spent almost 500 cad on 20 years ago. I just wish it took a 9v batt internally.

    The tone on the into, with the 335, is just killer! My friend just got one of these, and I went over to check it out. Love It! On the strength of your demo, I was leaning heavily towards getting it, but now I'm sold. Ordering tomorrow! Best blues tones I've been able to get out of my LP,, and at that price, can't resist.

    The boost acts as a drive boost or a volume boost according to the mode. Someone says the boost doesn't work, I suggest to try at lower drive level. It's not as versatile as you may aspect from six different switch combinations, it remains in the blues/rock scope, but it stays comfortable in that territory.
    It's not a must in my pedalboard since I can count on the Joyo American Sound + a 6-band EQ used as a boost.

    • @cr0wnest
      @cr0wnest 9 років тому

      I used to have this pedal. On certain settings combinations on the pedal, the boost will have zero effect no matter how you crank it up. And one of the settings gave a massive volume reduction with the pedal engaged. I thought it was a defect at first, but it seems other people had the same problem, so Caline probably designed the pedal that way because they couldnt find a way to mimic the FD2's circuitry fully?
      A shame though, because this is a really nice pedal especially if you're looking for a tubescreamer style OD but want a bit more options in one pedal.

    • @meleinmusica
      @meleinmusica 9 років тому

      When you think the boost doesn't work, try to set the drive at 5 or lower. In some settings (I don't remember exactly wich ones) the boost acts on drive, not on volume, so if, say, you set the drive at 8 you will barely hear the difference engaging the boost.
      The boost acts as a volume boost in some settings, as a drive boost in all the others. That's it.

    I thought my pedal had issues until I found this explanation; clipped from Caline site < Mini-Toggle #2: (Only when turn to vintage knobs, the mosfet and standard Toggle working)> I bought one and was wondering if it had issues since I could hear no difference between Mosfet and Standard in CC and FM mode. It is normal. Great pedal, lots of different tones from one pedal. 8.5 out of 10

    Well... Thanks for the video, but it's pretty misleading to try such pedals in front of high end amplifiers with boutique-level guitars for at least two reasons:.1)Anything would sound good with such high end gear and 2) the potential buyers of the product would not be able afford these anyway.

      I've pulled reviewers/demoers for doing this and have never had a reply (even this guy)! I have bought pedals then wondered why they didn't sound so good at home. Very sneaky! You have to watch those volume knobs on the guitar...

    • @thestuffmikedoes2309
      @thestuffmikedoes2309 4 роки тому +2

      Rolling back a guitar’s volume is a great way to judge a pedal’s dynamics and how it cleans up with the dynamics of your playing and how it interacts with the varying output of your guitar. There’s a absolutely nothing misleading about it-demonstrating a pedal this way is highly informative.

Or can i only use it while the OD is activated? I know that boost and OD doesn't operate independently on the fulltone pedal, but it would have been a nice addition to an already awesome pedal! Keep up the good work! :)
