Coconut macatia/ réunion island

Macatia or makatia are brioche buns very popular in some islands from the Indian Ocean (Madagascar, The Comoros, Reunion, Mauritius ...) a very easy and simple recipe to make.
I have already shared with you the Comorian macatias and the Mauritian ones.
Today I have the immense pleasure of sharing with you those from Reunion Island 😊🥰.
Ingredients
500g of flour
100g of sugar or less
5g of salt
10g yeast
250 ml of lukewarm water or a little more
30 g of soft butter at room temperature
(60g if you want a more brioche crumb)
for the stuffing
__________
200 g of dehydrated coconut
or grated coconut.
80ml milk
3tbsp sugar
1tbsp vanilla extract
