To add the fifth icon to the Tesla app. Press and hold the the icon you are wanting to move up to make 5 instead of 4 and while dragging it up also touch the open space in the around the list of optional icons.
@@rob1422222 It’s a bit tricky. Hold down one of the four icons you already have to bring up the rest of the choices. Pick and hold down on the one you want to add. Slide it up to the far right side of the phone, over to the side where the entire icon (as I recall) cannot be seen. That last one on the right will try to jump down, but that means you’ve not gone far enough to the side with the one you’re trying to add. It’s a finesse thing, and requires some persistence. But if you keep at it, you’ll get that 5th icon added! 👍🏼 I hope this is kosher, but there’s another Tesla UA-camr who shows how to do this: ua-cam.com/video/39jab6lNew0/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared If you go to about 1:15, he goes through it pretty quickly.
Tip #3 use don't need to touch the screen to adjust the wipers. Press the wiper button on the left stick and using the left scroll wheel you can move it left or right to change the speed
On the wiper tip, once you tap the stalk button, you can toggle left button in to the right increase speed, or left to decrease speed, instead of looking at and tapping screen. Driving rain is no time to have to take eyes off the road to find the buttons.
I also recently discovered that if you have Sentury Mode on, it may keep the car active in a way that the 12v outlets will remain on to some extent. And you can leave your phone charging if its dying. Not sure if its as much out put to the outlets as using Camp Mode. Love the video! Got a lot of great tips :)
@@CfTeslaReally though, those options should be made available the same way as the "..." bottom of the touchscreen button works in the car. So, you can have favourites, but they're all available at any time with another press.
Another terrific video, Cody! Yes adding the 5th icon is a bit tricky and took me a few tries (you’ve got to sneak it into row of four icons on the right side - maybe the left side will work, too) but if you keep at it, the 5th icon will slip into that row. BTW, what’s the “gear shifter” doing in your cup holder? Do you make vroom vroom sounds while you’re “shifting”? 😂
hahahaha yes i absolutely make vroom vroom sounds when I drive....no it was just something someone once sent to me to share on the channel. i thought it was a gimmic thing but I sort of love it lol
For the profile / seat problem, enable “Easy Entry “ for all driver profiles. Then if the seat starts moving forward unexpectedly, quickly unbuckle the seatbelt. The car will switch into Easy Entry making the seat go back and allowing you to select your own profile again.
So are you still liking the Yoke? I'm on the fence about getting one for my new Model Y Performance. I never had it with my 2018 Model 3, but have been interested for a while.
@@CfTesla You don't find it to be too wide at the bottom, blocking some of your display? And is Hansshow going to increase your discount code for it? If they do then I might use yours.
@@CfTeslaDid you know about pressing and holding the volume button on the steering wheel? It gives you some shortcuts to several commands like saving video, etc.
The best way to do this is to cancel the turn signal. If your right blinker comes on tap the indicator stock in the opposite direction to cancel it. May have to do it more than once as it may try a few times.

Thank for the tips, the most annoying things are the wipers, and the auto pilot disengagement at turns especially, is like hello i’m holding on to the wheel, in addition the abrupt stopping is bad.

Maybe you know an answer to this question. I purchased a Tesla wall connector and had it installed in advance of purchasing a Tesla. The paperwork got thrown away. I noticed on my phone the wall connector has its own network. I don’t know the password how am I suppose to use it?
9 times out of 10 my 2021 model 3 uses my wife's profile even though I'm set as the priority driver and I'm the owner and I get in the driver's seat before she gets in the passenger seat. In the app on my phone it shows I could delete her access ( not going there!) I have yet to get an explanation/fix for this.
parking brake doesn't as I showed when I pressed it while driving. Only if you press and hold for a long time will this engage to save you if your brakes failed. Similar to you stomiping or pulling the hand brake.

Exactly! Thats what I did. It’s really nice to have the 5th choice for which control you’d like to have do easily accessible! 👍🏼
Perfect thanks! I couldn't remember how I did that
I might be doing it wrong but it’s not working for me :/

6:19 - you can also just press down once on the shift stalk as well to satisfy the nag

Sadly when the door handles are Frozen the window will not come down being also frozen the door stay jammed

the way to open a frozen Tesla is to start preheating the car when it’s cold outside.
That helps with the windows but the door handles arent usually helped by that
@@CfTesla works on our families Model S cars here in Sweden. But those door handles are different. So maybe not so good on 3 and Y.
