  • So you think you want some custom bumpers for your big ol’ truck? Well Stacey shows you how to not only find what you’re looking for in the aftermarket, but also how to fabricate and build your own custom mounts to make ‘em sit exactly where you want them. After that he digs into the history of the Sgt. Rock truck and how it is permanently connected to “the greatest generation”. But this truck isn’t just about WWII, as a special tailgate airbrushed by Mickey Harris reveals, it’s about all the men and women that have sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. This is one show that will have you waving the flag when you see it!

    Stacey's an awesome guy. Been watching his shows since the days of trucks on TNN. Glad to see full episodes here since I no longer have cable. Well done.

    The tailgate art by Mickey is just simply breathtaking. The detail of the detail is simply amazing.

    Another good show from Stacey, I don't care for the look of that bumper I would have preffered something that matched the rest of the body lines instead of a highly angular modern bumper rock crawler style bumper. None of the other body lines on the truck match it. I still love this truck though and would easily look past the bumper if somehow I was getting that truck :D

    Congratulations on some awesome fabrication work on the frame and support/mounting brackets for your front bumper. Depending upon your rigging, you could probably suspend the entire truck vertically in mid air without fear now. I wouldn't try it with a single line pull though unless that's a 20,000# winch, which it isn't. Having said that I would like to take a moment to say, as a 21 year combat Veteran how much I appreciate the honor you have bestowed on all of us for what we do daily in defense of our freedoms and this great nation of ours. I especially love the newly created mural. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. One question though, after you eventually finish one of your projects, do you ever sell any of them or do you have this massive collection hidden away in some underground hermetically sealed vault?

      Carson Myers alot of this would not cost you alot of money... I use to watch the first part of Sgt Rock when Stacy was on spike TVs "Trucks".. He brought it back to life from a field...
      Some of this stuff would cost alot, but most of it is skill not money.

    I have been starting a project but I do not have the money to finish it expressly the way I want it it's a 1923 T Bucket but what I really wanted was a 1934 3 Window Coupe but those are just way too high especially with little bit of money that I have me and my wife and 2 kids leaving a RV

    Using a grinder on a freshly painted truck without masking off the paint work, that is sort of a gamble, those sparks can burn themselves into the paint, I am speaking out of experience.

    I have never liked Stacy much but the show has had some cool projects and he is clearly very smart. That being said I have to go on a rant here. I was at the 2017 Houston Autorama and I saw a truck that Chimo airbrush guy chris, painted with all kinds of 9/11 shit. I stood there thinking that piece of propaganda must have cost us tax payers $250,000 who the fuck paints something like this, then I stumbled across this vid and now I know. Tools like Chris and Stacy actually believe that the government does good and protects us from evil terrorists, they don't they are the terrorists. They lie cheat and steal from the people everyday and it's the way it is today because of the "Greatest Generation" Greatest at fucking up the future maybe or maybe the greatest generation at cowering like bitches when the founders of the deep state killed Kennedy and then his brother. Where was the greatest generation then when this shit still could have been stopped? I am SSOOOOO sick of old fucks acting like the world is so fucked up and it's all young people who are to blame. Look in the fucking mirror 50+ everything on Earth that is fucked up you are to blame for.

    Absolutely not! No way, shape or form was this country founded on Christianity. Read what our founding fathers had to say on the subject. I would post links but this page will not let me do that. I'm former Navy and a veteran of Desert Storm and I've been listed 100% disabled due to that military service. I truly detest misinformation!

    • @justbuggin67
      @justbuggin67 8 років тому +2

      Ok...look, thanks for coming before me (being a veteran). Giving the fact that you are a disabled veteran doesn't give you credibility, it just shows that you are an American who, like me, decided to make a decision to give his life if he had to for the sake of this nation. You cannot deny the fact that the USA was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Read the writings of the founding fathers. They are there, and I am not talking about the Fox News version or the CNN versions of history. Read both the Federalist and Anti-Federalists papers. Most founding fathers were "Christian", and there was no separation of church and state until the 1930s.

    • @oldmikeemerson2411
      @oldmikeemerson2411 8 років тому +1

      Founded on Christian values, really? Did you read that on the back of the Koolaid pack or did some preacher read it to you?

    • @justbuggin67
      @justbuggin67 8 років тому +2

      +Mike Emerson Yeah I read it in a couple of books, like the Federalist papers and some biographies on the founders. You know, stuff about the framers about our laws. Oh, and why did the Puritans come over here again? And where did they get their laws? Ah facts, how we love u

    That modern bumper does not suit a vehicle of this vintage. Original C channel would look better.
