I’m so happy, that he looks so happy now I can see how proud he was when he said “good times”. I remember how glossy and teary his eyes look when the engine went out of service, it’s just good to see him in a good spot again proud of you, bro💪🏽
You’re like a little kid getting a new hot wheels. Congrats man can’t wait to see you putting it back together.
Wait til my first start haha. I might cry lmaooo
Awesome glad you got the motor back can’t wait to see in the truck.
I’m excited to see her run again 💯✅
I am too haha I'm pumped
First off thank you for your service!. Im enjoying that little kid excitement your displaying thru the whole vudeo. Keep us up to date on your wrenching..very impressive. Ty!
Appreciate that, and will do!
finally! cant wait till that things making some power.
You and me !!!
It's so good to see things coming together. This is great !
Thank you man and I couldn't agree more!
Nice dude!!!!!!! Congrats, excited for this to go down
Thank you! I'm pumped and can't wait
Glad to see things coming together for you. I had to drop 2800 on injectors 1000 on push rods and rocker arms on my Cummins last month. She sounds like a new truck again
That sucks man but least u got her squared away and running good.
The stock rods are the weakest thang on a 6.7 Cummins engine.
ikr? Seriously, how can someone be doing this for so long and make such a amateur decision?
@arunsmissingpurplesweater5447 Especially since his last engine had a rod fail.
Didn’t he say he put forged Carillo conrods in it
If your running high drive pressure/boost on low rpms then yes your right. On a 700hp build if your blow connecting rod on a single turbo s400 setup then you were probably doing something else wrong. People run mild 6-700hp units with rods perfectly intact. My last 6.7 truck had a whole stock internals on s300/s400 compounds making 650hp and never once threw a rod
@ For real. Dude is still in denial too. It's bad.
Great to see you building your engine back and better. Looking forward to seeing the results. That mustache looks amazing! 🤙
Thanks man! I'm pumped about this build.
Keep the videos coming brother 💪🏾💯😎
Appreciate it man! 💪🏾
Looks great 👍🏻 can’t wait to see it run
You and me both!
Hell Yeah Brother 🇺🇸🦅
Bhaha your here too!!!
@wurstcrewchief2798 gotta show some support 😂🤣
@@Balakay9435 I see that lol! Well glad to know I’m not the only one!
im excited for you brother!!!
Thank you Sir and I can't wait
kickass, I'm excited to see how it runs. Please let us know what kind of millage your getting when its all together.
It's gonna be a beast for sure! And sure will do
Our boy is looking excited. 😊
Hell yeah!
I'm just as excited as you are Cam, good times...
Yessir! Appreciate the comment!
Right on man looks good i wanna see what you come up with to make the coolant bypass hose to be placed to look clean
I already got a h&s coolant pipe delete kit on my current motor I need to take off. Cleans up very good
@EVERYTHANGDIESEL no man I'm talking about the aftermarket line that you install from the thermostat hosing and replace the rear coolant freeze plug
That’s dope cam!! I’m excited for you bro! Cant wait. I want to build my 5th gen bad but your right money bro. Diesel is way expensive
I hear you! It's a lot of money! lol
Things gonna be bad ass when it’s done
Can't wait.
I’m not even going to lie bro I should’ve bout another Cummins I fuckin bought a 6.7 power stroke and after seeing how much work it is to work on them I’ve been beating myself up over it
Yeah and I respect ford boys but they love to complain about how better ford is. Definitely never touched tools
Well I’ve own 3 different Cummins trucks and years 2 5.9’s and one 6.7 Cummins this is my first 6.7 power stroke
Yea working on them is a lot more labor intensive and they have some much shit in the engine bay. But yal got good transmissions though so it's kind of a trade off
Nice choice on the parts Bro. It will be good to see it on the road again.
Thanks man I can't wait!
She will be better than ever!!
Thats the plan!
@@EVERYTHANGDIESELYou will succeed 💪
It’s going to be sick bro
Appreciate it! I'm hoping so!
I'm super excited for you bro..
Thank you I appreciate it!!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO 🎉🥳 congrats bro. 😎
Thank youa
Can't wait too see install
Yessirrr 💯
I'm patiently waiting for this bad boy to be back on the road......
Shit u telling me! Haha
Looks sweet good luck 👍
Appreciate it, I'm excited!
Wooooooohoo!!! 🔥🔥💪🏻
Congrats!
Thank you
Gotta ask man, who did this machine work, and most? How much it set you back??
I mentioned it in the video. Rick's Machine shop in Santee. Roughly about $1700 in machine work.
Nice job can wait till it makes smoke and noise again!
I know man, I can't wait either!
Get a fleece coolant bypass in there asap while it's still easy
Already got one need to install!
What have you done to the head? and are you going to do anything to the Transmission? Single Turbo or Dual. Looks good from your video the only thing I could maybe complain about little on are the Cylinder Walls, I'd have to ask them to smooth them out I hate when you spend some major money and they aren't quite "mark free" Still Looks great and can't wait till you start putting on the other parts and get it running. 👊👍👍
I got a built revmax 700 and I already have a S468 stainless diesel 2nd gen swap. I got videos on all these things from previous. It'll be a solid build for sure
Sounds good, that's the Transmission I'm thinking of going with. Just trying to decide if it's better to buy everything like Johny Cash one piece at a time, or buy the whole deal. I found some good deals on RevMax Transmission Parts, Billet Pump and Pump Cover, Billet Shaft, 700hp Complete Drum with all the clutches installed, New 68RFE Transmission Core, brand new 4×4 adapter and Stage 5 Tourqe Converter. Then either put it all together or take it to one of our local
builders. Can't wait to see the installation and fire up. Keep them videos coming and glad you decided to keep it and fix it. 👍
Use the old pistons for a PCS gift.
Not a bad idea haha
Who did the machine work and built the short block?
Rick's Machine. I mentioned it in the video
Don’t run it low of oil this time 😂😂😂👍🏻
Lol I didn’t know that’s what happened to the last one 😅
I didnt run it low the 1st time trust me she had oil i saw it all come out the tail pipe lol
Negative sir haha
Hope it goes well. Should be a screamer.
Thats the plan ✊🏾💯
Hot Damn!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯👍🏾
💯💪🏾
Congrats 🎉. Definitely throw away that pickup tube. The crack is probably the cause of this due to oil cavitation. Air in the pressurized oil system will kill an engine.
Yeah that was my thought process when I saw that, so definitely won't be using it haha.
Didn’t think you’d have a engine already
I been plotting man
Hey bro
I think what damaged your motor was that green “hot shots” stuff you dumped in with Amsoil in that oil change. Those things are last resource for when engines are in the same probability for failure, not for healthy engines like yours. Never ever add any other shit than oil in your engine. Please.
The hotshots or the amsoil cleaner, thining oil additives is never good unless engine is about to die. Only under those circumstances there’s no more to loose
Your video called “FIRST JOB DONE TO MY 4th GEN!!”…you showed your cluster with truck idling, it is visible the oil pressure reading, it read 31psi. That’s too low for idle, should be 40psi.
You had a low oil pressure issue carrying over your projects before installing the new turbo. Oil pressure is king, 5psi under is a thing to keep an eye and to troubleshoot!
Idk if that caused it, I wouldn't say so but who knows. This engine won't need any additives being fresh so I know we'll be fine. Amsoil only thing I run. 💯
Wasn't the additives. More likely the cracked oil pickup caused cavitation (air in the oil).
@ I love to see you smile after receiving your engine after all these months, I can’t wait to see you back rollin. Would like to kindly share my point of view from my mechanical engineer with motorsports passion observations. Oil pressure reading observed at the end of that video I pointed out. There’s a +- range for that. 9psi below minimum would call my attention 👀. Keep using Amsoil, only oil. Plain diesel mixed with oil would have been better, additives are uncertain and still based on same diesel composition. Therefore just a commercial product when diesel is king for cleaning engines, only in cases that really deserves it.
Keep the passion alive with your projects, good job and Lets Go with your engine plan!
