    Brilliant. If I can get the tricks, the direction lines, measuring up sections of the body, it all gets so much easier- one part of the body measures up to another! Great instructions Liron!

    Exactly what I’ve been looking for! Very straight to the point, very helpful and not complicated! Thank you so much! I love the messy yet realistic look, and have been looking how to accomplish that. Very good work!!

    Excellent. Figure drawing used to intimidate me. After watching your videos, I see that it's just a matter of practice and training the eyes. Each day I start with some painting exercises in order to learn the basics. Now I'm doing that with drawing. Will be fun to see the various body shapes I end up with. Thank you for the helpful tutorials. :)

    Hey Liron, Amazon delivered your sketch book two days ago and it is excellent! Your explanations are not too technical, but clear and understandable. Love that you left room to draw IN it as well. Great job.

    Thanks, lots of good info. I am working on sketching because I'm convinced that if you can't sketch you can't draw or paint. Sketching is the foundation. It's also very freeing. I don't get all bound up and tense. I just enjoy and relax. If it isn't perfect it isn't perfect. I figure I'm on a long journey.

    Liron I am going to crack this!! I am going to be able to sketch people. You are definitely the best art teacher on UA-cam, so varied and prolific and a great way of explaining things.
    What’s the best sort of pencil to use for initial sketches like these? My lines are too straight and hard and not sketchy enough but scared to go softer/darker!

    • @LironYan
      @LironYan  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much Harriet 😊🙏🏼 The pencil doesn't matter as much!
      I'd go with a medium / #2 / HB (different names for same type) pencil.
      It's the one that is right down the middle.
      If you want to, you can experiment with harder leads (H4 for example), it's lighter, but I find it harder to erase.
      Or with a B lead (like B4) - these are darker - but softer and easier to smear / erase.
      I personally preferred B after becoming more experienced. I hope this helps (:
