Yep. Me too. That’s when I knew I did right. There WILL be a SHTF situation in all our futures. You just never know when. What’s wrong having a generator? Water catchment system, or back up filters for water? Nothing. We humans sense something is off. That’s when you start amping up supplies, slow but sure. We will use them sooner or later

Okay I survived Milton but a quarter mile down the same road was devastated. It was a good reputable builder but roofs and walls were blown off like nothing. 😢. I live in SC and we experienced Helene 4 weeks ago. We were without power for 10 days. Thankfully we are campers so we had pantry interns, has stove, and a generator. I told them all if I’m not home when one of them decides to check on me, then I’ll either be out helping neighbors & victims, or I will have gone in the rapture. 😊

This is a really great tip, especially since many are fully now reliant on electronics for directions. I do have an atlas of all states that I keep in the car because I’m of a generation where we would use paper maps, but this is something everyone should consider for sure. 👍 I like your idea of the highlighted routes too. After I saw the movie the Impossible (about the early 2000’s tsunami and heard how families couldn’t find each other, I suggested it to my family). Former retail storage manager. We are way to technologically advanced that at a grocery store, when the card readers go down, there is no way to ring up purchases. The registers are computers, and they will be worthless as well. It's best to stock up your pantry.
I used to work in a bookstore. Everything was electronic, from receiving items into the system to doing inventory to ringing up a sale. When we lost power for a week due to an ice storm, we had to close until the electricity was restored. At my home, we were OK due to our wood stove, stockpile of canned soup and drinking water, and cistern.

Our biggest prep is to get right with God. He will provide us with the strength, courage and hope to endure what will come. As it says in the Bible, many many places, to prepare not only for life after this earth, but tells us to prepare for our life on this earth.
As a Floridian we are raised to prepare, my suggestion is to have baby wipes to clean yourself and a water spray bottle, you use less water spraying which can be crucial in an emergency and make sure you have a way to put out fires, in chaos, responders could be delayed. Freeze solid bottles of water and stick in your freezers to hold the temp in case of power outages, it will keep usually 48hrs or more, just recently tested lol.

@@RoxFaulk read this in context with a humble heart & mind & see that if we Truly Repent as a nation nothing evil will come, but it all starts with we the people… Jonah 3 And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
We must be on the same wave length. Never been a doomsday prepper but have been stocking up food, water, silver, cash, propane for turkey cooker burner, 30 gallons of gas stores, flashlight, batteries, pellet guns and pepper spray, hiding places for cash and silver, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, pharmacy items, soaps, tooth paste, seeds for gardening foods and a generator. 8 months ago, I started preparing… I can feel it coming… something.
I never talk of doomsday, zombies, end of the world, or stuff hitting fans. I talk of things we've seen, strikes, unemployment, food shortages, ammo shortages, disease, shutdowns, hackers compromising things, coin outages, riots, port problems, bridge failures and storms, and lately we had a day of internet outage across the state and some lost cell phone capability as well. Talking to people about things that are part of their personal history make prepping seem much more reasonable. Even my business as normal banker is starting to listen to me.

Having lived through many elections, I have never sensed such fear in the American people! Fear of our own fellow citizens. Fear of what candidates will do to our Constitution. What freedoms are on the line? Praise God, I have Him.
I think that's the goal more than any one candidate - to sow discourse. They've been saying "Build Back Better" for a long time. The WEF has been saying, "You'll own nothing, and be happy" since 2015. I think the reaction IS the goal. OFC, I hope I'm crazy or stupid wrong. I'm willing to look crazy to not find out the hard way.
This is an election that will determine whether the US turns communist or not, and historically, socialist/communist regimes have been pretty authoritarian and violent in their establishment and maintaining their control over their populations. We've seen increasing restrictions on our freedom of speech. We've seen the government get involved in labeling parents and Catholics as domestic t- errorists, and trying to get priests and choir directors to essentially become moles for the F B 👁. There's a policy recently updated that now allows the military to fire on US citizens. Those are some of the things people fear. There are also open borders allowing millions of mostly unaccompanied military age males to enter the country, and we are paying not only for their stay once here but also to bring them here. In some cases, they are receiving benefits that deplete resources, like housing, for citizens in the places where the government is settling the "newcomers." This looks a lot like _replacement_ to the newly homeless US citizens. These things, the inflation, lost jobs, etc., are among the things people fear are on their way to becoming the "new normal" in America.

Cívil unrest created by fellow Americans that can’t accept that there is a looser????….how sick is that,….. not until nine years ago , since 1789….we have had elections, and now since one man deems , accuses, wo ANY Proof!!! 60 times in court wo any proof, held this country hostage wo any proof, committed insurrection, is a proven felon, a cheat, a liar, a rapist, a con, says so?????…Americans are gonna turn on each other ove4 that man????? That would be a shame, man utmost shame. I doubt that will happen, this election will be clear, that a majority of americans want to make sure this man will never get near the presidency again. There will be peaceful transfer of power, cuz he won’t be there to commit insurrection again. If I prep it won’t be because of an election. It will be because of weather , or geo disturbances. Or natural disasters, not this man made one. Shove the bully off the play ground.
I fill my empty water jugs with tap water to use for hygiene, pets, and toilet. I store them in the basement and save on buying bottled water for those uses.
I've been listening lately to a song online called "Plastic Jesus" "I don't care if it rains or freezes, as long as I have my plastic Jesus sitting on the dashboard of my car..." That would keep Jesus close to me.
We absolutely need to be prepared, now more than ever. It’s not just about physical preparation but also staying strong mentally and, most importantly, spiritually. Times like these remind us to stay awake and aware.
Canadian Full-time RVer with 2 dogs here, who lives relatively prepped. Normally, I snowbird in the deserts of the US southwest, crossing over November 1st. However, part of my prep for this year is to stay north of the border as I believe the potential for civil unrest following the US election is high. I hope for you all that the transfer of power is peaceful. Looking forward to returning next year.
As a Yank, I'd say that's a good idea to stay north of the border this year while things shake out per the election. You might also want to see how things go here in the US the next few months. I think you Canadians will be riding the Crazy Train soon yourselves with Mr. Castro and Mr. Poilievre having a go at each other.
Seems like a sound plan for now, w/all the potential craziness here. FT RVer with a cat on the west side of the States. Fairly prepped generally, but stocking up a bit more on canned/dry goods, cat food, first aid, butane. Safe travels and be well.
Issues have a high probability in major democrat ran cities . if you just get over to US 95 then go south you will be fine. The rural areas do not put up with the liberal shenanigans.
I lived during snow blizzard in SD in Oct of 2013. We were w/o power for 10 days in the black Hills. Things I learned. When you know a storm is coming get things out that will be important in ur home. Water I went thru like crazy…way more than 1 gal a day. And at that time I was by myself. So I learned to have 2 ( 1 gal.)Jugs of water always filled and kept behind my toilets. ( these are recycled jugs and it’s tap water). I use that water to flush my toilets, wash my face, teeth, and hair and body ( sitz baths) I now have a 55 gal rubber trash can in my basement filled w/ tap water to replenish the other tap water in the 2 jugs by my toilets when they become empty. The drinking and cooking water I use bottled water from the store. Also now I use paper plates & bowls to keep not using drinking water for washing dishes. WATER is severely under- rated on how much you really use. If you have public water…Have a LOT of “tap water stored”. Have good amount of bottle water stored. If you have a well. Have a water purification system. Like a berkey. Have sawyer water straw for every member in the house. If you have a well…have some kind of generator to activate the electric water pump. Or have some kind of flow Jack, earth straw, simply water, ..some way to pump out the water manually out …if u have no generator. (Generator needs fuel) those other items just need your muscle to pump.
Goodness. You need to study up on how to live on less water use. Way. Way. Less!! ALSO...practice. Go a week or three days min pretending that what you have is ALL you'll have for months. How would you survive? Make notes.
@@ritapearl-im3wv I have practiced many times …lots of power outages in MN and SD where I live. And you do use more water than you think. We always have had a well and so we have ways to pump that water out. If you don’t have to go to work and be with children even during a power outage you will be surprised about how much water it takes to get ready to go to work, keep your home tidy, cook, flush toilets and your pets hydrated. If I was living during the days of Denzil Washington’s movie after the apocalypse I am sure my water usage would be a lot less compared to the environment I am in now. Each scenario is different. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe!
Thank you so much for popping up on my timeline. I pray as much as the next person, but to think prayer is all that's needed is detrimental. Prayer without work is foolish. Again thank you for these important tips.
Even if you have to evacuate? If you have multiple cats, do you have a carrier for each one and enough room in your vehicle for them, as well as litter boxes and food? I saw this as a potential problem when I had five cats.
Here's a suggestion for the dogs: since dogfood is bulky and expensive( especially if you have several dogs) include some bags of brown rice and dried lentils. It's good for them and really stretches the dog food.
Be careful with cats, they NEED cat food (or live prey). Canned meats do not contain taurine which is an essential nutrient for cats. Without it they go blind, then their heart fails and they die.
Thank you for sharing the 8 preps before the election. However, we must put our trust in God, and ask him to lead us on the things we need to prepare for. Preparing in the spiritual realm, is number one most of all, he will give us wisdom and how to prepare in our natural life living. Thank you again
God Will Save Me A big storm approaches. The weatherman urges everyone to get out of town. The priest says, "I won't worry, God will save me". The morning of the storm, the police go through the neighborhood with a sound truck telling everyone to evacuate. The priest says "I won't worry, God will save me". The storm drains back up and there is an inch of water standing in the street. A fire truck comes by to pick up the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises another foot. A National Guard truck comes by to rescue the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises some more. The priest is forced up to his roof. A boat comes by to rescue the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises higher. The priest is forced up to the very top of his roof. A helicopter comes to rescue the priest. He shouts up at them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises above his house, and the priest drowns. When he gets up to heaven he says to God "I've been your faithful servant ever since I was born! Why didn't you save me?" God replies "First I sent you a fire truck, then the national guard, then a boat, and then a helicopter. What more do you want from me!!??"
Thank you for you Survivalist Series ! Keep up the good work ! I enjoy learning on forgotten knowledge, espically when it could mean you and your family's survival in uncertain times ! Lone Bear!
Great points to be concerned about. I just bought emergency car stuff for the grown grand kids especially the ones with children. ( Tire repair kits, battery cables, and chargers, scrapers, gloves window covers for snow and ice,...and more). I also got fire-proof document cases small enough to grab in an emergency - birth certificates, SS ,). Mylar blankets and throw covers. If stuck inside, I bought board games, coloring books to sit and be quiet. And active gam es for wiggly kids. This is going to Xmas and birthday for every one for the next 5 years.
Your number one prep is # 1Community. You can have everything you need, but without a community of people in a neighborhood, your at risk. I highly suggest if you don’t know your next door neighbors, you need to break the ice and introduce yourself. Find a church with likeminded people, especially if you live in a big city. Get some black washable paint for your windows. Plus, everything she listed in this video. Get this done yesterday.
If you have a gas grill it's a good idea to keep your propane as full as possible too. In case of a power outage you can at least cook some food as long as you can. But it is important to have canned goods on the ready too. I love these pepper videos, they really help us to remember certain things! Pray up and stay positive! 🙏🏻
Yea some cash. But in a grid down, no one is taking cash, not any store, gas station etc. Any person that preps knows, goods and services are cash. Trading goods and services, bartering is what it boils down to, but I never think short term. I've been through floods, and no power for 14 days, I was not prepared then and made it just fine, I was resourceful. I'm well past prepared now. I would add, if you want to make it in SHTF, everything she mentioned, and redundancy is the key, water stored, water purification in multiple ways, well, river, lake, pond. Electricity, gas/propane generator, solar generator, as much batteries as you can, as many panels as you can, heat, propane, electric, kerosene, wood, long term foods, rice, noodles, dry beans, seasonings, can goods, and the ability to grow, indoors and out. Protection, guns, tons of ammo, bow and arrows,mace/pepper spray. That's redundancy, multiple fields, multiple ways, back ups to your back ups!
One thing I discovered is that the plastic gallons of water you can buy split on the bottom seam if they have been sitting a while. I don't recommend getting gallons of water if you are going to set them aside for emergency. The packs of 40 -- 16.9 oz bottles are sturdy and don't leak in storage and can be stacked. I have never stacked them more than 3 high but they were ok.
Those milk jug type gallon water jugs are not for long term storage. They are technically biodegradable and will develop pin holes after a while. Those shiny bottles are better. I have 55 gal drums and those 5 gallon bottles.
@@PatrickThreewitIt’s called due diligence. You study the candidates and their history. You look up what’s being voted on. You scope out your voting options and locations. You document yourself voting, and find out how to confirm your choices. You find out what to do and not do at a polling place, like not wearing clothing that shows who you plan to vote for. Hope this helps.
Faith in Jesus has gotten me through a lot, changed my way of looking at things, dealing with people. It is kind of sad how so many "conservatives" lately have forgotten things like Leviticus 19:34, Matthew 7:15-20 and Micah 6:8.
Preps I started in 2015 served me and my BF thru reduced job hours, covid, more job hours loss, deciding to pull the plug on employment I hated and retire. And I got it all at a lesser price than I can get today.
Living in South west Florida & going through either the impact or the affects of hurricanes & being out of power for 14 days from Ian & 5 days from Milton I appreciate your video.
I would keep extra blankets around to drape over windows at night if we have to bug-in if we lose electricity for a bit. Keeps your house/apartment looking like everyone else's when you have backup batteries going and lights. Also, black tape over the door peephole and a towel at the door bottom.
Who are his people? No human is unworthy! He created all in his image. Religion you mean. And, is so, why live in fear of Jesus is on your side? Sounds kinda funny, that’s all. The Civil War will spare no one, no matter the religion, color nor state. I suggest total isolation, starting now, go hide in the woods, we’re the military sportsmen hide, when they leave for the rest of us, enter their domain, find a cave and hunker down for a few years. Blessings, Jesus got your back, no need to fear! 🥰
I can tell you that on the day of 911, I left work and stopped at store to get extra batteries, water, etc. ,that no one could use any bank or credit cards. Luckily my bank was in that store and I was able to get cash. It was like that for a couple days in my area. So take heed to this advice.
Lord Jesus you keep me encouraged please hear my prayers being a single mother with two special needs children is overwhelming and challenging. I’m desperately trying to provide for them. Lord give me strength as I continue to struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay bills. I keep faith because I know God will change my situation. Faith over fear!💕

I’ve got gas, propane, firewood, outside grill, pantry prep, freezer prep, water, generator, security system, and personal security. Thank you so much you are an amazing young woman.
Also, if anything happens they say to fill up your sinks and bathtubs with water, because if the city water pump goes down. It will come in handy. If a HEMP bomb goes off it is a good back up to have a Faraday box with any electronics to be safe. You can make them pretty easy too. Look on youtube. And if you can plant any food, that is a plus. Indoor and or outdoor. And since the dollar is collapsing, invest in silver and or gold if you can. I saw Costco sell out of bars within one day, a couple weeks ago. But you can collect high quality jewelry. Thank you for mentioning pets. I always figured I would give them my food if I ran out of their food. 🤔 And a personal thing I think would be handy is anything to keep you busy that doesnt involve electricity. Books, games, puzzlebooks, things like this.
I prepped for Y2K & nothing happened. However, a few years later we had an ice storm that knocked out our power for 5 days. My y2k preps were used.
Yep.

So did you point your finger at the people who said you were crazy and laugh manically and say "I told you so!!" as you generously and heroically hand them some food and water? That's what I'd do. mhuahahaha
I was off grid then. I made it just fine. I had it so warm in here with my big wood stove, that the sleet wasn't sticking to the roof, but dripping off.

Okay I survived Milton but a quarter mile down the same road was devastated. It was a good reputable builder but roofs and walls were blown off like nothing. 😢. It was actually a tornado 🌪️ that hit the area. My sister and bil are in NC trying to save their retirement home there. All the neighbors are there to help and they can’t do enough. What is very sad 😢is people are still missing. After living in Florida on the coast for 54 years I am pretty good prepper but I can always use a reminder. And you learn something new every time.
I wonder how you could prep to survive what happened in NC. 😢Helene and Milton will redefine hurricane readiness. Yes yes be proactive not reactive. Thanks nice advice 🤗😘

Jonah 3
And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Having lived through many elections, I have never sensed such fear in the American people! Fear of our own fellow citizens. Fear of what candidates will do to our Constitution. What freedoms are on the line? Praise God, I have Him.
No fear here. I fear God but no man. Thank God for the 2nd Amendment.

Its A Sister wit a prepping channel ❤️😁💯💯
Lots of sisters have prepping channels and even the ones without channels are prepping.
Smart and intelligent people with different skin colors. WOW, imagine that.
@Mangoos393is she not?
@Mangoos393 yeah... I would expect one third Asian, but I really don't care.

Thank you so much for popping up on my timeline. I pray as much as the next person, but to think prayer is all that's needed is detrimental. Prayer without work is foolish. Again thank you for these important tips.
You are so welcome!
Cogent, concise and timely.
Well done.
Add GMRS walkie talkies, CB radio and small solar charger.
May The Lord continue to bless you and your family.
Can you send a link for the best easiest ones to get?
My pets (cats) have been prepped for. Thank you for mentioning our pets!!! ❤
Even if you have to evacuate? If you have multiple cats, do you have a carrier for each one and enough room in your vehicle for them, as well as litter boxes and food? I saw this as a potential problem when I had five cats.
A dog makes a good meal.
Eat the pets.
Prepped with hollandaise sauce!
God helps those who help themselves! Don’t be complacent!
I know you know that's not in the Bible - I know what you mean. But we need to prep and keep prayin'
Here's a suggestion for the dogs: since dogfood is bulky and expensive( especially if you have several dogs) include some bags of brown rice and dried lentils. It's good for them and really stretches the dog food.
So is canned pumkin.
@@Cyndy-b9v brown rice goes rancid after 6 months
Exactly
Canned tuna, sardines and/or halibut and candied yams are our basics.
We are doing NOTHING out of fear, but are being sensitive to the Holy Spirit, listening to His prompting in how to prepare.
What's no. 9?
Remember Joseph followed God's word to prepare for the drought.
God Will Save Me
A big storm approaches.
He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me."
The water rises another foot. A National Guard truck comes by to rescue the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me."
The water rises some more. The priest is forced up to his roof. A boat comes by to rescue the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me."
The water rises higher. The priest is forced up to the very top of his roof. A helicopter comes to rescue the priest. He shouts up at them "Don't worry, God will save me."
The water rises above his house, and the priest drowns.
When he gets up to heaven he says to God "I've been your faithful servant ever since I was born! Why didn't you save me?"
God replies "First I sent you a fire truck, then the national guard, then a boat, and then a helicopter.
Remember to put a can opener in with your prep box.
2 would be better as quality is not as good as it used to be.
A well-stocked first aid kit with manual is also essential.
Your number one prep is
# 1Community.
What is the black paint for?
Never thought about black washable paint for windows. Brilliant!
@@nhilet143 your home will always be dark, like no one is home even with the lights on. It allows for you to hide at night.

Prepared over fear should be an undying slogan!
@@girlmeetsworld4062 Yes!! 🙌🏽
It’s always better to be prepared than unprepared not fear just using wisdom 😊
If you have a gas grill it's a good idea to keep your propane as full as possible too. In case of a power outage you can at least cook some food as long as you can.
But it is important to have canned goods on the ready too.
I love these pepper videos, they really help us to remember certain things!
Pray up and stay positive! 🙏🏻
ATM’s are chronically down, or not dispensing cash in Atlanta. Keeping cash on hand is Good advice.💯
Yes.. that’s happened to me!! The Gallon jugs of water Do SPLIT &’LEAK!!! However.. mine were in the garage!!!🙏🙏🙌🙌
@@HISIAM888RUHIS888 Mine weren't- big mess- curses, foiled again
Those milk jug type gallon water jugs are not for long term storage. They are technically biodegradable and will develop pin holes after a while. Those shiny bottles are better. I have 55 gal drums and those 5 gallon bottles.
You can get four gallon, non- return filtered water bottles at Sam's for about five dollars or so.
I bought 5 gallon water bags from a company called Smart Bottle.
Now is a great time to VOTE and do so intelligently 🙏
How do you vote unintelligently?
You said you voted intelligently so how do you not vote intelligently. intelligently?
@@PatrickThreewitIt’s called due diligence. You study the candidates and their history. You look up what’s being voted on. You scope out your voting options and locations. You document yourself voting, and find out how to confirm your choices. You find out what to do and not do at a polling place, like not wearing clothing that shows who you plan to vote for. Hope this helps.
@@PaperMario64 I voted several days ago. If I was to vote tomorrow, I'd vote the same way. I was influenced some by patriot Adam Kinzinger.
@@PatrickThreewitAs a Democrat…..no one as unintelligent as they are.
#1 Get right with God, trust in the lord
AMEN ❤
Exactly AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
Well done, young lady. Very smart.
Thank You! I trust God, but I know not to be foolishness, it's better to be prepared, than not.
Absolutely Joseph and Noah's are examples 😊
I would keep extra blankets around to drape over windows at night if we have to bug-in if we lose electricity for a bit. Keeps your house/apartment looking like everyone else's when you have backup batteries going and lights. Also, black tape over the door peephole and a towel at the door bottom.
Extra cash! That’s a hoot!🤭
Yes who has that....thanks to this administration.
Failing to plan
Is planning to fail.
Canadian prepper 🎙 out. 🇨🇦
Absolutely brilliant, informative, and beautifully articulated, these times of uncertainty, requires us to be ready for any and everything!
Have faith in the lord he will protect his people
Who are his people?
If the national grid went down, could you survive for one year?
Thanks!
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for your kindness and support!! ✨ I truly appreciate your generosity!! 🙏
Thank you for the info. Noted. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Faith over fear!💕
child of God. hang in there. he's always with you. your faith is beautiful. he will never leave you nor forsake you keep giving praise and glory. your day is coming❤
Your situation never changes. You post the same sad story on every platform. Is this a fundraising thing?
I’ve got gas, propane, firewood, outside grill, pantry prep, freezer prep, water, generator, security system, and personal security. Thank you so much you are an amazing young woman.
Thank you for the kind words ☺
And a personal thing I think would be handy is anything to keep you busy that doesnt involve electricity. Books, games, puzzlebooks, things like this.
