Never tied the knot, no kids to worry about. Don’t have to stress over security or making ends meet. Got myself a nice apartment-didn’t bother with buying a house. Skipped college, so no student loans dragging me down. Saved up good over the years, got a solid job, and now I’m free to enjoy life on my own terms.

We drive 2 hours one way to our nearest aldi once a month to stock up. Then 45 minutes to other direction there is a meat locker that we stock up on fresh quality locally grown meat. Dont pass up on the moser roth chocolate at aldi. Made in germany good chocolate

Tariffs are a tool of negotiating. American produce carries high tariffs in other countries as well. If the negotiations go well, it will mean better prices on bith sides a year from now. Unfortunately, corporations will use this as an excuse to raise prices. By all means, prepare now, as we should be doing anyway.

We blame adjustments as the problem while we trip right over the problem and blame other victims. Learn Tax codes and the history if inflation and how that is directly tied to property taxation and then We might have a change to fix the intended mass enslavement operation. We must first start with the truth.

My husband is a civilian federal employee. Our medical insurance is going up TWENTY PERCENT in 2025. Between that and how much everything else has already increased, plus the new taxes and other expenses our state legislature is planning to implement now that they have a clear majority and there's no way to stop them anymore (WA State), we'e screwed. There's saving and then there's reality. We're looking hard at moving to another state to escape the nightmare, but the federal obviously will follow us wherever we go.

Wish I could find like minded people around me. Haven’t figured out how to do that safely.

If sh!t ever does hit the fan, we seriously have different things to consider than they do! And if you have children, prepping for families with small children would help tremendously.

My brother lives in the panhandle of Florida, house he owns was built in the 1990’s. He has vaulted or cathedral ceilings, one of the drywall panels is cracking and the roof has a leak. He pays thousands of dollars each year for insurance. He filed a claim for the insurance company to come out, take a look and deny his claim. His claim was denied because the builder used nails instead of a bracket. Now he has to pay out of pocket to get the issue fixed to code, and his premiums went up. Contractor is out of business, so no going to them for the fix. Insurance is mandated for you to have, but not mandated for them to provide.
