- I take apart the Splat-R-Ball blaster to see what's inside. The Splat-R-Ball SRB1200 blaster is a unique shell design, unlike the SRB400 which is a copy of the Wells G36c gel blaster. The gearbox and internals are almost exactly the same as the SRB400, except that the SRB1200 is missing the semi-auto single fire parts. Therefore, replacement parts or upgrades of the gearbox, motor, barrel, and the battery will work with both the SRB400 and the SRB1200 SplatRball blaster.

Splatter Ball blaster is the most commonly available blaster sold in the US. The SRB400 can be found at many Walmart stores, sporting goods, and online. It is sold by Daisy. SRB1200 seems to mainly be sold online.
CAUTION! - Splatrball and other Gel Blasters should be treated as weapons and should not be used in public or areas where someone who is not part of the game can be hit. The police will charge you with assault with a weapon. There have been multiple instances in the news of people (mainly teens) being charged with crimes for shooting unsuspecting people in public. The gel ball projectiles can cause permanent injury to unprotected eyes and face.

@@marleymark1300 There are definitely some riding their high horse on Reddit. Mainly they sound pissed they can't have airsoft and are penting frustrations onto the noobs. There's a few nice people too on there. Our blasters are the same [low end] stuff they have, repackaged. Gel blasters wouldn't even exist if airsoft wasn't banned in Australia and a few other countries. We're getting the dregs right now, but I think the market is about to explode with options.
UNLOCX is pretty bad ass though, cause it uses a V2 style airsoft gearbox which really opens up the modification possibilities.

Yes, the RIZER V2 will totally fit inside the orange tip. You need to use the soda can shim to make it fit tight, and drill two holes in the orange tip for access to the set screws to tighten the RIZER on the barrel

Wait till I show you the tracer mod video. That'll kill two kangaroos with one stone.
If you are not interested in the tracer mod then do this: Once you're in there, just pull out the LEDs like I've shown and wrap electrical tape around them. Or cut a power wire going to the PCB and insulate the end.

Hi engineerable can you tell me all the parts i need to make my gun high fps better accuracy all the stuff i want to upgrade is gearbox, motors, spring, battery, faster charging cable, nozzle (anything on it) and all the stuff if needed and put all the tools i need plz be all or airsoft links amazon links below this that will be compatible with the srb1200

How long can you use an 11.1V battery without it overheating?
You should do a mod where you replace the battery with an external power bank.
The battery that comes with the gun is too easy to ruin. It would be neat to rewire the gun to have a 6 foot usb wire hanging out of the battery port and plugged into a separate power bank in your pocket.
Easier to just buy a new battery, but not as cool.

I bought and used it for 2 months on and off but i was struggling to shoot ( like i would have to press the trigger harder to shoot constantly) do you think its something with the gears or something to do with the trigger. My guns lights work but when I fired it turns off and I’m pretty is has something to do with the batteries I bought an extra pair with charger but they always flash green even days later idk if my guns messing with the batteries somehow ?

No, that light sucks. If it doesn't come on, something is probably bad with the PCB, which can't easily be fixed.
What do the grey wires connected to the magazine contacts do? One of them detached from the gearbox when disassembling but the gearbox itself works fine

The switch broke off completely? You may have to bypass it with a standard switch.
I’m not really sure but I think it completely broke off because I’m not that good with these splatrball guns and if I could I would show you a picture

That I do not know and will need to measure when it is apart next, but I think that a different color light will shine through.
I’m having an issue with mine. Where I pick the trigger and doesn’t do anything. Won’t shoot I took it apart but have no Idea what’s the matter. Need help!!
If your motor doesn't spin, then you have an electrical issue that you need to trace and figure out where the problem is. If your motor spins but doesn't shoot, you may have stripped gears or tappet plate issues.
what kind of motor is used for the gearbox, and can I upgrade it? if I can, what is a powerful motor I should use? and should I change the spring in the gearbox?
The motor is a 480 short shaft, D type shaft. These motors are standard airsoft size, so pick one from an airsoft retailer that meets your needs. Change the spring if you want to change the FPS.

It's not hot melt glue, so the plastic would melt before the glue will release.

My splatter doesn’t shoot and when I hold the trigger the led lights just flicker what do I do
Could be many things. Gearbox jammed, bad battery, burned out motor. You need to use a voltmeter to determine if the battery is good and trace the wiring until you find the issue.

You can, but I recommend upgrading the whole gearbox so you don't have to hack the piston to fit this non standard gearbox.

i bought mine and when i went to shoot nothing comes out... it makes the noise and lights up and everything seems to sound okay also.

@@engineerable i shoot the gun and after i shoot it i tske out the magazine and balls fall out the gun so something has to be blocking it. i believe its the tpiece thats messed up
@@wazey3446 The nozzle is not pulling back far enough to allow the gel balls to feed into the barrel. The tappet is made of metal, and I've noticed that it is always a bit bent inside the gearbox. I think you should have used some type glue like a glue gun to put those covers back on. Them screws make it look ghetto.
You could use glue if you want. I was trying to show a way that would allow it to be taken apart again in the future.
