Some of those machines have a push button on the attachment to help hold it on the multi tool

I've often seen this happen.
I bought myself a leaf blower and I had probably used it for an hour over 2 years.
I had to replace the fuel pipes as they had disintegrated in that time.
Ethanol fuel is a pain.

hi mate, have you managed to find the set of different Diaphragms you use in most of your videos? i know you couldnt find them for a while but hoping you can now as it would save a lot of trouble having a few different ones on hand. cheers

Nice job Mick. Do you ever confirm idle and high rpm with a tach? I know we do a lot of tuning by ear and experience.
Yeah I do ken and did it the next day with the attachment on.. to be fair nothing changes much with just doing the fuel lines.. ta for watching my friend
Just an observation did you forget the little wire hose clip on the fuel filter or did you intentionally leave it off ,anyway love the content.

Ethanol in fuel causes many issues. I think 5% was ok, but 10% or greater Ethanol is bad stuff.
I've just put a new carb and fuel lines on mine...it was running good for 30 minutes,but then started playing up again. 🤔
It may need tuning mate .. sometimes the diagram changes once fuel has come in contact with it
