  • In this episode we explore wines from the NSW Southern Highlands, which is only 1.5 hours drive from Sydney. The wines that we try are 2021 St Maur Lot 41 Chardonnay, Southern Highlands, NSW ($34 from Liquorland), and 2021 Artemis Close Vine Pinot Noir, Southern Highlands, NSW ($50 from the Artemis Wines cellar door). Trent also shares tips on how to drink wine like a billionaire, Jason gives an overview of the NSW Southern Highlands wine region, and Trent shares a recent wine that he drank at a work function - 2022 Dalrymple Pinot Noir, Pipers River, TAS (8 out of 10 corkscrews!

    Thanks for highlighting your local wine region boys, some interesting insight here! I thought you guys were blessed by being in close proximity to so many wine regions (Mudgee, Orange, Hunter and Canberra), but never actually realised how far these regions are from Sydney. Still better than being in QLD though... 😅

      Thanks @mudzki. We visited Adelaide and Melbourne over the Christmas break and they’re definitely the cities to be if you want to be closer to wineries. ‘QLD’ hahaha. Funnily enough we were talking about making a trip to Granite Belt just yesterday!
