Do you say Semi-“llon” or Semi-“yon”?
Recently tasted Ben Murray wines , imo, Dan's wines stood out amongst other producers. Also tasted the just released Verdicchio/Vermentino, absolute cracker of a drop. Support the small producers out there!
Mount pleasant and Tyrrells are both incredible and the 23 vintage from both wineries are exceptional. Gladly a member of both

I had both Chatto Bird and Chatto Isle today and they are potentially my favourite wines of the year. Smooth silky sexy Pinot you should give it a try if you can find some!!!

What wine do you love to pair with seafood?
With natural oysters ... Young Semillon or bubbly. Richer cooked fish like Salmon can take a medium bodied point noir and any creamy sauce with say a chardy.

@@TheWinedUp Tyrrell's Stevens Vineyard Semillon...very yummy on release and shows just a touch of aging...still with youthful acidity.

Not many wine pair well with marmite.. I'd recommend an equally intense oxidative style of sherry like a palo cortado

i live 10min away from YV, Soumah is great! And try Coldstream Hills if you haven't yet. Their Pinot Block D is absolute beautiful!!!

Regular air contains oxygen which oxidises things it comes into contact with. Argon does not.
We know that. It’s unnecessary.
Yes that’s true. We just wanted to understand why it’s important to use argon if the cork is removed since that will make introduce oxygen to the wine.
